Giddyperson:
I just stumbled on the mess. In what planet did he think this was gonna be funny shocked. I'm glad the internet has dragged the hell out of him and i hope he loses his licence, no pity at all. I cover my own delivery team with the blood of Jesus, Lord please let there be no efulefu among them.
As if fiofio is a bad thing.it is in fact a very nitritous meal. What if she ate it 2 days before then?can't someone poop what she ate 2 days ago today. There are people that poop twice in a week and it's totally normal for them. In short there is no basis for this "sarcasm" that he's trying to use as excuse. I'm sure he's learnt his lesson Sha
@giddyperson amen to your prayer.

Look for this common red acalypha flower, or onion peel, boil it and use it to bath your child[/quote
Ok. Thanks]

Hello mommies,
Please anyone whose child has had these rashes popularly called nra\nla? What causes it and how effective is the local treatment? Is it true that orthodox treatment does not clear it?
I'm sceptical about giving a baby herbal mixtures .

@baeboss

At what point do you pay for voa? Is it immediately after you apply or once you get the letter from them? Also, how long does it take for them to send the letter? Do I have to wait for it before I can travel with LO?

Thanks

I know the question was not directed to me but I have some answers.You can pay for the VOA after you get the approval letter but you must have LO passport when paying .
It takes 2 business days to get the approval letter in your mail. Ensure you send all documents in pdf or jpf format , not as Google drive documents .
You can't travel without the approval letter.You have to print it out and go with it for check in.

baddo:

Who has been able to use GTB dollar card to pay for VOA?
They said it has to be an account opened in the US. Not dorm account.

it used to be possible for someone in Nigeria to pay for you. has that option been taken out too.

and i wonder why it has to be a US bank card. they should show our naija banks some love na

I don't know if someone in Nigeria can pay for u. I only know someone in Nigeria can apply for the VoA approval for someone in the USA with the supporting documents.
I guess it is because they assume you are paying from there .

Hello everyone,
For those that are still in the US with their newborn LO. Congratulations. This information is for you.
After you apply for visa on arrival for your child, you have to go to Nigeria immigration service portal and pay online for the VOA.Cash payment is no longer accepted. You have to generate an application ID and a reference number which you can then use for online payment and then print your receipt. You pay with a US bank card.
When you get to Nigeria, you will have to present your VOA approval letter, evidence of payment and LO passport.
If you don't pay online before u get to the airport in Nigeria, then you have to go to a cyber cafe in the airport and generate the reference no for 5k or use your phone if u have data. Then pray that your card payments should not be declined, else they will hold your LO passport and u have to go back to the airport another day to make payment and collect the passport.
The portal is portal.immigration.gov.ng
Then go to visa on arrival and fill your LO name as applicant.
Please kindly ask your questions on the forum if you have any. Thanks

BS:
I conceived via ART so I was told to plan for elective CS since its a precious baby.Had been having contractions off and on from 28weeks.Was even admitted cos of it and given mess to calm the contractions. So, I went for ANC at about 38+ weeks and was told that my baby's heartbeat is not too good. So I was admitted for CTG monitoring, started having contractions but cervix was not opening at all. After over 12 hrs ,they noticed baby's heartbeat was slowing down esp with strong contractions. So I consented to a C section. Was taken to the theatre and spinal anesthesia given.I became numb waist down. Few seconds later, I couldn't feel my arms as well and could not breath nor swallow. I was struggling to talk but they couldn't hear me so I started praying and declaring that I shall not die. I heard the Dr's telling me to breath but I couldnt. Then one person said "She's unresponsive" that was the last thing I remember. Next I saw was my baby was out and wasn't crying, but few seconds later ,I heard her crying at a distance. Next I heard was see your baby.I looked to my side and beheld the most pretty baby girl I've ever seen. To the glory of God, I came out of that theatre alive with a living baby. God Almighty came through for me. The God of awesome wonders, faithful God, prayer answering father, merciful God completed that which He started to the shame of the devil. cheesy cheesy

Please o, who knows if aju mbaise can be used in 1st week of delivery. My mom came for omugwo with it and I'm not too comfortable drinking it now. I thought it's for menstrual pain and conception? How is it that it's also used to cook ji mmiri oku. She got it for me in 2nd year of ttc and said it's for menstrual pain. I had less pain the month I used it though. Now she's saying it will make my tummy to reduce faster... Is it even safe for baby?
