It is unfortunate to hear mr president and his vice saying their salary ll be cut by 50%.. What mr president seems nt to understand in the normal democratic state is that,there re rules,laws that guide the activities of any political holders. Busted! Mr president has no power to cut his salary according to the constitution but can only volunteer 50% of his salary after he must v taken his salary from the RMAFC which is statutorily empowered by Section 32 (d) of Part 1 of the Third Schedule of the Constitution to determine the remuneration appropriate for political office holders.
