Technology Market / My Experience On Windows XP Password Recovery by merrychristmasq: 7:52am On Feb 01, 2013
Last month, I made password protect XP on my Dell laptop. I always felt safe about my important business-related information secured in this Dell laptop. But when I forgot XP password this time, I was in a total mess. Luckily, the Windows XP password recovery software saved me.

Reinstalling means lost data and it should be the last solution. I did not want to waste my time and money on some useless password reset software. So I did lots of research on the best password recovery software. I know watching our login screen when we’re forgotten our password is a nightmare and that is the reason why I am writing this post. I just wanted to inform you that there is a safe way to get your password recovery easily and quickly. Here is a little trick that will get you back in.

Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 is a powerful Windows password reset program that works well for Windows 8/7/Vista/XP/2000 and server 2003(R2)/2008(R2). By using this tool, you can create a bootable password reset CD/DVD or USB flash drive to reset your lost Windows password in an easy, instant and safe manner. No need to reinstall Windows or turn to others. It only takes you 3 steps to reset Windows password in less than 4 minutes.

Step 1. Download and install Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0
Step 2. Burn a bootable Windows password reset CD/DVD/USB flash drive
Step 3. Insert the CD/DVD/USB flash drive in the locked computer and set BIOS of the computer to boot from CD/DVD/USB flash drive to reset Windows password.

I’d like to list another way in case of you forgot Windows XP password. If you prepare this, you are able to change Windows XP password with an USB flash driver.
Note: You should adopt this method before you lose or forget Win XP password. And then you can conveniently complete Windows XP password reset without any other third tools.
Now, follow the detailed steps to create Windows XP password reset disk.

(1 )Start PC and log on Windows XP. Insert an USB flash drive into the driver.
Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Accounts -> Create a password reset disk.
(2) In welcome screen click “Next”. Select the inserted USB flash drive, click “Next”.
(3) Type the login password in the password field. Click “Next” (then Win XP OS will automatically create the disk for you).
(4) When progress indicator shows 100% complete, click Finish to exit. Remove the USB driver from PC.

Now, you have a Windows XP password reset disk. Then you can follow the steps to change Windows XP password. In the Windows XP log on window, click “Reset Password”.
Insert your password reset disk Windows XP into the USB interface, and click “Reset password” to open Password Reset Wizard. Click “Next” to continue.
All in all, this method is easy enough for newbies to follow – it doesn’t require using any complicated commands. Good to know and the technique does look relatively easy!
