About a week ago, before the Ooni of Ife Ogunwusi married his new bride Wuraola Zynab Otiti, one unknown Zainab wrote an open letter alleging that she was still married to her ex husband amongst other things , but many assumed it was just the rantings of a jealous frenemy.

The Abuja sources close to the situation who pleaded anonymity told 042express.com that Elie is her husband whom she has kids with.

They allege that Wura milked Elie-an expatriate with Sageto, an Abuja based company- dry financially, so much so that he is still trying to recover from the loss. Elie allegedly kept giving her company money, and she made sure to corner major contracts from Sageto for her brothers and relatives.

As per her marriage to the Ooni, sources said she was one of his girlfriends and he knew her for a little over two weeks before he decided to marry her.

It is said that the names of the Ooni’s girl friends were dropped and the oracle choose Wura even though he had known her for just a short period of time.

President, Muhammadu Buhari has been conferred with the highest national honour of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, revealed this through a statement in which he confirmed that the President was given the national honour in Malabo on Monday for his personal integrity, exemplary leadership style and courage to fight terrorism in order to ensure peace and safety of Africa.

The honour of “Gran Collar De La Orden De La Independencia” translated “Grand Collar of the Order of the Independence” was said to have been conferred on Buhari by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea at the Presidential Palace.

At the ceremony, Buhari was said to have dedicated the recognition to the people of Nigeria who had worked relentlessly to sustain peace in the country and across other neighbouring countries in Africa.

He said, “On behalf of my country, Nigeria, and the people, I will like to express profound gratitude for the honour given to me and my people. The reality of the situation now is that there had never been a time in history for greater neighbourliness, for security and economic stability than now.”

The President pointed out that the challenges faced by African countries could be traced to a particular point, and must be collectively appraised and jointly tackled by all the African countries.

Buhari gave the assurance that Nigeria would continue to support efforts of ensuring socio-political and economic stability of its neighbours and the African continent.

Meanwhile, Mbasogo said it was an honour for his country to confer the Highest National Honour on Buhari on his first visit to the country.

He said, “We are here to recognise the son of the soil. On this occasion, we deem it fit and appropriate to decorate the son of Africa for the great work he is doing in Africa, which includes tackling a great menace to the continent, Boko Haram.”

He assured that his country will support Nigeria in the fight against insurgency and other security matters.
