Well, we just HATE to be told anything negative about abroad. It's like someone busting your dream

The fact is the people on both sides of the argument are arguing from two diverging perspectives. just like the story of blind men touching an elephant and asked to describe it. The two parties can never agree, people here are fighting for the very basic needs of life, people in abroad are passed that stage and are searching for self actualization and social status.

Nigeria means different things to the two different people, for someone who lives abroad all their live , it's an escape from racism, psychological trauma, brings happy memories of many smiling uncles and aunties who came to eat and get presents/ favors from your 'rich abroad' father. Boys calling you fine geh and chasing you round the clock that you even have a roster, endless high society parties because you obviously are in an elite social class different from back in UK, the list goes on. But for those of us born here... well, I rest my case
