Though I am not holding brief for the VP or the government in general but I wish to appeal to all Nigerians to stop abusing their leaders irrespective of their shortcomings, mistakes and limitations. I have come to realize that there are no perfect government anywhere. We should not be deceived by what we hear from other countries. As long as you have not physically gone there to witness what exactly is going on there never you automatically rate them above your own on impulse. The challenges they face over there are usually kept in secret to outsiders. we sing our own to the world every day. That does not mean we should NOT constructively challenge the government to deliver on what is ordinarily supposed to be good governance. It is just that the idea of abusing their families, race and tribe is not healthy. There is an adage which says *when you point one accusing finger of abuse at a person for hurting you three fingers are pointing at you to warn that you will do as worse as your culprit if you are in his position* Remember we all are part of this government, the challenges of Nigeria did not start today and all Nigerians are all guilty either directly or indirectly, whether as a follower, citizen or a leader. And it is through these combination we shall also prosper it if we can all be positive and passionate about it. We must understand that prosperity may not occur if we continue to abuse the leaders rather than criticizing them with a national face! Some of us who are abusing them today will one day be leaders tomorrow at least in one capacity or the other. And the finger of abuse you pointed today will attract three fingers against you tomorrow: you cannot escape it no matter how gifted or talented you may think in handling that position. Nigeria is a complicated county. And from historical sources nobody initially wanted this unity It was forced on us after 40years of British invasion our various kingdoms. But it has come to stay! Every region of this country has produced millionaires and kobonaires and as we speak millionaires are still springing up on daily basis inspite of being tagged the poverty capital of the world by the western world. the miserable western world who exporpriated our wealth and created the political confusion that we are now killing and abusing ourselves for. They are our real fucking enemies and will always be. You people forget that a highly economically prosperous Nigeria is a threat to the white race. Why do you think that most Nigerian wealthy elites keep investing their assets in countries that are already financially prosperous rather than using it to transform their villages? It is not necessarily because it is to hide their wealth from the manipulation of witches and criminals! Are there not witches in the country where they hide their assets. They do it to sustain the economies of the already developed economies so that only them will be getting the hangouts of the western world and making the ordinary citizens to worship them and their families for ever! Please let's have a rethink join hands with our leaders and make them to also believe in their own citizens and trust them more. In doing this it will also make us break this circle of recycling past old hands within the polity. The government will never give opportunity to people who constantly abuse her, it does matter if it is for a good cause or not. And since we need fresh blood in the system we must also act to earn their trust. |
Seriously speaking, this guy is working. It is just that the challenges of Nigeria are just too much. |
The workers understand that the federal government may not fully be resourceful enough to meet their demands judging by their population as far as this issue is concerned. But what the workers are indirectly saying is that the politicians in the senate and the executive should cut down on their own allowances for them to equally cooperate with the Government! Why is the minister shying away from this argument. You reduce the cost of funding the senators and ministers for us to take you seriously. And why are the senators strongly opposed to a slash in their allowances? Why is it that most ex-Governors are always justling for parliamentary offices after frustrating the salary increment in their own states? Why can't they create rooms for other people to come in? Answer-- to keep absorbing the cash and yielding to the salary demands of worker might short-change their hidden agenda. Must the senators and ministers live extravagant lives because they in government? We are tired of their so-called flimsy excuses they keep giving us as being the reason for demanding high pay. Why is other economies not experiencing the same cost? Nigerian senators still remain one of thethe highest paid in the world in a country of origin he so called 98milion poverty stricken guys Presently it appears the senators financial status are given the impression that there is money in this country and the workers will not be the losers! That in my own opinion is the message they are sending to the minister. |
Well I got nothing to say. I am not a Biafran and will never be. When the South Africans were destroying our properties Biafrans kept quiet and ceased to exist and Nigerians were shouting for Nigerian Government to intervene. Now a Nigerian President has come to South Africa, suddenly Biafrans appear. I wish them luck. |
I have come to realize through experience that most people who hardly greet people are the very first people to complain when they are treated back as such. This one messed up challenges about our African culture. Some people can go ahead and destroy you for not greeting them first. In worse case situation if they are even one day older than you. But here is an hypocrisy: I remember when a former president and his ministers accepted the casual handshake daughter of George Bush hand when she escorted her father to visit Naija. But dem nor born you well it you attempt to gho shake that former president if you be Nigerian and whether you senior am What a shame! |
