As regards the physical test, we have been asked to come along with a few items. I do not have my degree cert yet but I have my statement of result and NYSC cert. Does it matter? Is it a barrier? Someone, please respond.

DokitaDave:
I can assure anyone who cares to listen that these cut-off marks are false. I have seen this same broadcast before UI announced its Pre-Admission Screening.

Moreover, the post reads that the cut-off marks were released shortly after screening registration began. Does that make any sense? How can you set cut-off marks when you haven't gotten the overall assessment of Candidates to different departments. It was after the close of registration the school could have known the aggregate performance of students, with which the cut-off marks will be decided.

Guys, let us be a little more patient. Where we are heading to is no where near our starting point. I strongly believe that many things will be decided in the month of October; we'll get our screening scores, the cut-off marks will be released and the merit list will be out.

Danke!
hmmm..just watching. Grace oh God!!!

I wonder why anyone would sit in his house and tell me not to get emotional_ psychic much?
You can't even answer simple questions, yet you claim to be logical. If you're that logical, you would know those questions are a subliminal way of telling you, it takes a couple for a marriage to work. Majority of the threads here on NL complaining of bad wives (that's me trying to FOCUS), I haven't seen any_ where it was stated that the wife was brought up by a single mum.
Sooo, what went wrong Mr Logic?

Do you know Nigeria's population? I ask once again.
You met just one lady raised by a single mum, out of millions of Nigerians and you run to NL to create thread...as statistician you be ba?

There are few single dads you say?
Jointly made, jointly owned.
'but somehow the woman gets to be stuck with the kids, most times doesn't get married again, raises them to be strong independent people and you think you can rule them out without giving them a chance? Who exactly are you, Uncle?

I am not 'empathising' with anyone but I know what it takes to train a child. Anyone who does that (independently) gets my support.
Now, go back and answer my questions, stop looking for supporters grin.
you're so on point ma'am.

Erm, it was clearly stated in UI's admission brochure that English, Lit-in-English and any other 3 subjects from arts, social science or science. Maths wasn't included, Perhaps if it was compulsory it would have been stated that "Mathematics is Compulsory".

samuelizz:
5 'O' Level Credits at one sitting or 6 'O' Level Credits at 2 sittings to include English Language, two Arts to include Lit-in-English and any other three or four subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Science [Please note that Government and Economics are not Arts subjects]..... Mathematics ain't compulsory.

But writing Putme will be much better than all these processes. Imagine OAU telling d aspirants that their "physical presence is not much needed" which means anybody can submit the so-called "documents" on their behalf. A whole lot of hanky-panky will be involved;not even with the partiality JAMB did this year. When you talk of transparency, you have to rule that out ds year!. Lots of brilliant mind i pray will not stay back home this year because as it is they seem to have a lesser score in this year's UTME. I just pray something RIGHT shud b done to put things in RIGHT order.

[quote author=harwarl post=46552647]UNIBADAN SET TO CONDUCT PUTME EXERCISE ON THE 6TH OF AUGUST

The premier University of Nigeria- the university of Ibadan, is set to conduct its putme exercise on the 6th of August, 2016. This was made known to the public via the university's media division late this weekend in the backdrop of the release of the university's modified academic calendar.

The Vc of the university, Professor Idowu Abel Olayinka, issued a statement saying :

"The forced break caused by a communication gap between the students and the university's governing body is unfortunate but it has allowed us to finetune the date of our putme exam. The declaration made by the government concerning this year's putme came too late as the university has already developed an in house software and questions which will be used for the putme. As of now we have no dependable substitute for it (the putme). We chose the 6th of august because it coincides with our 1st semester break thus giving our staff some breathing room"

The Vc also addressed concerns about the state of the University, brought on by the erstwhile ongoing strike, and made efforts to assure the general public that all is well

I need to know how true this is please.
I just pray it is
