America is not the middle East. I am more concern about the men in America. I told my friends that I was talking to a man from Nigeria. They started telling me that they are possessive and right now I am just trying to learn the culture. I have asked him questions about his culture and he just replied the Nigerian men follow the bible. Men were allowed to do a lot of things in the bible, so right now I am just asking questions.

I know nothing about the culture and if they are, why?

I don't know because I am american woman.

Most of my friends say that nigerian men are possessive. Is this true and

also I can tell by the look on his face and the tone in his voice that his not happy when I say no. Oh, well.

i think what is bothering me is all these negative comments. My thought at this moment is to observe him and wait. I don't need to take the relationship to the next level yet. I know that he is going to be upset which was the reason I said that he might want to date other people. I never want a person to be unhappy because of me.

Are you Nigerian? If so do men from your homeland respect women that have sex with them within 2 months or do they like women that make them wait?

What does that mean?

I am dating a Nigerian man. We have been dating for about two months. He wants to take our relationship to the next level, but I am kind of scaried because of all the negative comments. We have been intimate, but we haven't gone all the way. Now I just don't know what to do. I told him that I would have sex with him. Then I changed my mind the next morning. I told him that he can date someone else since we are not having sex but he said no, but I can tell he was disappointed. Don't know what to do
