Hello All, one of the May SOWP applicants for my husband and kid...been worried about the looooong wait and so have checked this forum regularly to see if it’s just ours... was really sad though somewhat relieved to know how many applications were pending...sigh
Wrote several mails to cic, my PM even Justin Trudeau (JT) was really desperate at a point ...anyway you all know the drill...
Long story short, it would seem and I believe so that it took God to bring JT physically to my school for a townhall meeting.. I saw my opportunity, got my family details printed...sat strategically and waited for an opportunity to be called...God did it.
I mentioned our case to JT and he promised on public television to look into it and accelerate... this was Jan10th or so, a week later they asked for my child’s medical, yesterday to the glory of God visa was approved finally!
DJT may not come to your aid personally but God has many other ways and angels to bring His plan and testimonies to pass in your life. Good morning!

Stick to your convictions on your chosen field of study and elucidate it in your SOP, why you have chosen what you want to study. It's too late for you for September. Given the denial and all that , ordering your denial notes to review before refiring is wise. You don't want to start applying blindly without your gcms notes. Purpose of visit might mean you have not convinced a VO you would be a bonafide student or NOT a potential immigrant. So work on your SOP in addressing your course of study and demonstrating substantial ties to Nigeria. Children's birthcerticates, marriage certificate, landed property or business interests in Nigeria, etc. Explain that you are going alone and your family will remain in Nigeria.

It's still possible to meet up with Sept if u reapply immediately without your Nigerian Child. Write a very good SOP. The Child and your husband will serve as home tie.

I had 2 consecutive app in 2014. The first was rejected for purpose of visit because I applied with my Nigerian Child. I immediately reapplied alone and that was it.

Hello. Before you start getting responses, I will advise you consider reapplying with an MBA admission which you already have.

Accounting and HRM isn't correlated. Though you may have HR experience, I want you to understand that it may be a bit difficult to get visa with MHRM considerivisit.ur background and based on past experiences here However, a good, SOP may be your strength.

An MBA with business certifications including trainings and relevant documentations could help cover your wide study here.and help tackle purpose of visit.

1. Yes u can still meet up with September but I still feel it will be better if u request for ur file to get the real reason behind the refusal. it will be nice if u can defer all 3 admissions till January while u repackage.
2. There's no issue with u reapplying again now but I still advise u take my above option (defer all 3 admissions till January then request for ur file).
3. A good SOP can do it for u since u have 8 years experience in ur proposed field of study.

Sorry about the delay! In my opinion, do not reapply without your gcms note. Yes, you might be thinking of resuming this September but I think you should just look forward to January 2018.

The purpose of visit refusal was not because of your Nigerian son. I think it was because of your other children. I just read a gcms note with a similar reason. The PA stated she won't be travelling with her kids(Americans) and the VO believed there's nothing stopping the kids from going over to Canada since they do not require a Visa. The VO concluded that the PA is just using studies to migrate to Canada.

My advice is for you to get your gcms note, you'll be surprised at the reasons stated but above all you would know how to tackle the reasons for denial.

New member. Silent reader since May just before submission. Need the help of the gurus, wealth360, thesoj, yemdogg, and any other kind-hearted soul who can be of help.
Just saw my status delayed.
Brief profile below
Had 3 admissions, uregina for Masters in HRM, UNBC for MBA and Vancouver Island uni for dual MSc and MBA...I chose UREGINA FOR mhrm which is closest to what I want and do

Applied for visiting in March with my hub without LOE cos we wanted to do a quick scout of Canada. Was rejected

So applied for my student visa this time with SOP sample I got from the forum and mentioned former rejection to Canada and US of long ago.

I have current visa to US, (am a bit widely traveled so old passports and visas included) about 4m in the Naira account with 10m educational insurance and lots of landed docs

The only reason for refusal ticked is purpose of travel...

I think I shouldn't have added my 5 year old to the application ( He's Nigerian) despite all the letters from his school and the other siblings schools
The other two siblings don't need immediate visas ( America and irish)
And I think my SOP was not tight enough

My questions are

1. Can I still meet the Sept batch if I apply again..this time I will do online. I don taya for paper route and it's attendant stress
2. Can I reapply immediately without them raising an eyelid..what's the best time lag to give
3. Can the SOP gurus ps kindly look at my old SOP and advise where I went wrong...


I really don't want to do 30- 40 days waiting for gcms note because of reasons above... I can still order though if so necessary
. It's obvious my chances would be increased if I apply alone...
