Answer my question first. Is the caption biblically right?
You are the teacher here sir. You claimed that the caption is not biblical by virtue of the fact that catholics are also christians. hence my question,
is contradiction in biblical doctrines as seen in Catholics and Pentecostals denominations accepted in the body of Christ? Yes or no sir?

the list is long....
- to live a righteous life and to seize any/every opportunity available to you
- to find joy/cherish the little things of life and to value whatever blessings that may come your way
- to live and value the life YOU got and not waste time trying to live/achieve other people's life.
- to dream big but to also be realistic about life... and to enjoy the journey trying to fulfill these dreams
- to love/cherish/care about the people that mean something to you
... but most importantly, to make the most out of every single second you spend on earth, finding ways to to be fulfilled in whatever you do.
What is the source to which you got these standards of enjoying life to the fullest?
Or are they just your personal opinion?

My comment is about the caption of the post. Your question to me should relate to what my comment says about the caption, not about what is not the focus of my comment.
Your comment to the caption is that the Catholics are Christians. You believe that the Pentecostals too are Christians. So my question is, is contradiction in biblical doctrines as seen in Catholics and Pentecostals denominations accepted in the body of Christ? Yes or no sir?

it doesnt really matter what happens after death... and why would anyone even worry about what happens after death? you will be dead anyway... only a very deranged person believes that there is life after death when its obvious NOBODY HAS EVER COME BACK TO CONFIRM THAT THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH... its just the yeye nonsense that some people ae saying to brainwash and enslave people.

majority of sane people focus on LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST, rather than worrying about what would happen after they are dead and gone.
How does one live his life to the fullest?

Religion / Re: Wisdom:be Wise Like A Serpent by Michael547(m): 9:15pm On May 23
jamerflepz:
Hello, my people! Today, we go talk about wisdom. No be the kind wey you dey use to dodge traffic for Lagos o, but the kind wey dey make you stand gidigba for God.

You see, being wise like a serpent no mean say you go dey sly or dey do corner-corner things. E mean say you go hold tight to wetin God talk, no shaking, no matter the gbege wey dey happen around you.

Na so the Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, dem talk say dem no go bow for any golden statue, even if fire dey wait for them. Dem trust God pass how fish trust water. That na the kain wisdom we dey talk about!

Some people don think say serpent na bad news because na im the devil use deceive Eve. But no be so! To be wise as a serpent mean say you sabi the game well-well, you no go let anything shake your faith.

So, my brothers and sisters, make we choose to stand with God. No let the small-small wahala of life make you fold like say na gala wrapper. Stand firm, be like soldier for Christ. Even if the whole world dey go left, you, my friend, go dey go right, follow the way wey God don show you.

And remember, no matter the palava, no matter the katakata, God dey your side. You be soldier for the Most High, no be time to slack. Choose to be wise like the serpent, choose to stand with God.

Make we laugh small, but carry this message for mind: no let your faith fold like say na origami. Stand strong, my people, stand strong.
Wetin be God final solution to the problem wey we all human being dey face for this world?

Stand on God’s Word (4)

Thu, 23 May 2024

‘God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.’ 1 Corinthians 1:9

When you feel inadequate for the job. Have you been given a job you don’t feel qualified to do? No problem – it’s an opportunity for God to show Himself strong on your behalf (see 2 Chronicles 16:9). Fix your mind on your all-powerful, always-present, loving heavenly Father. ‘Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken’ (Psalm 55:22 NIV). Instead of fearing the challenge, start feeding your faith. ‘So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God’ (Romans 10:17 NKJV). Spend more time in prayer and move closer to Jesus: ‘If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples’ (John 15:7-8 NIV).

Instead of giving in to fear, stand on God’s Word: ‘Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things – and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him’ (1 Corinthians 1:26-29 NIV). ‘Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen’ (Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV).

You are right; on your own, you’re not up to the task. But with God on your side, you’re more than equal to the challenge!
What is God's solution to the problems plaguing all mankind today?

Stop beating around the bush. Is the caption of the post right? If yes, explain. Stop trying to change the topic.
There are Christians in every denominations means that all denominations are Christians.
Is contradiction of biblical doctrines acceptable in the body of Christ as seen in many denominations?

Don't derail the post. Catholicism means the doctrines of the Catholic. I didn't talk about Catholicism in the comment. I simply pointed out that Catholics do not refer to Orthodox and Pentecostal people as non-Christians.
If that is so, it means that your view is that both Catholics and Pentecostals are true Christians.
Therefore I asked you if contradictory doctrines are accepted in the body of Christ?

Madam, I am not angry with the poster. If you are not a false accuser, point out any sentence that depicts anger in my comment.

2.
I didn't make any attempt to talk about Catholicism because the poster has not mentioned the errors he claims to have discovered in Catholicism. So, I don't know what you are talking about in this regard.

The point is that you are a false accuser. I never said whoever claims to be a Christian is a Christian. And I am not angry with the poster. You are just a crafty accuser trying to detail the topic.
You did not talk about Catholicism? Really?
After telling us that they too are Christians as opposed to the view of the op?

becareful, check the doctrine and teachings of any church if it is indeed scriptural before joining them.
I thank God your eyes are open to dome of the errors of Roman catholicism.
For your parents continue to be obedient towards them buy lovingly point them to christ as the ultimate and all sufficient saviour. Lead them in prayers and show good examples and very soon they would join you.
I thought you would tell us the church that has the true scriptural doctrines?

Did I say that everyone who claims to be a Christian is a Christian? Answer this question or admit that your responses to me are baseless.
Oga your reply suggest that. Why would you be angry at the op for saying that he saw that the Catholics were not following the teachings of christ and decided to leave. You insisted in your reply that the Catholics were Christians without any proof that the catholics held the true teachings of christ. Does that not imply that any group of religious persons who claim to be a Christian is actually a Christian?
Religion / Re: Dynamics Of Religious Practices. by Michael547(m): 8:05pm On May 23
lamboloosta:
I've always wondered why the advent of Christianity & Islam discarded the pre existing religious practices or traditional beliefs.

Often times I ask myself why Believers of Islam/Christianity see Believers of Traditional Practices as been archaic or immoral.

I believe everyone relates with GOD with different approaches and methods.

I'm from the Yoruba Tribe and over time I've heard many believers call GOD in many names.

Ifa Worshippers call GOD 'OLODUMARE', Christians call him 'JESUS' 'ELSHADDAI', Muslims call him ALLAH.

My question is why some or most Christian/Islam Believers see the Ifa or Traditional Worshippers as ungodly esp when they're all worshipping the same God but each belief with it's own approach.

I'm not talking about those Herbalist that worship Satan but the ones that worship God in their own way.

Even in the Bible before Christ, sacrifices and offerings were made to appease GOD (not human sacrifice) and this is what I believe the Traditional Worshippers are doing till date.

Please I'm writing based on my understanding with the hope of getting some clarity to this and probably understand better the dynamics of different Religions practiced in our contemporary world today.
You can contact me on 08167469103 on whatsapp let's discuss.

Are you afraid or you don't have an answer?

😁😁😁you've technically not asked me any question.
You've been asking who gave me right to examine the doctrines of pastors that you've recommended.
That question shows that you don't have answer to my question of if all these pastors are in agreement when it comes to biblical doctrines.

You are saying i dont have right to examine the doctrines of your recommended pastors but you've been examining the teachings of the JWs. Is that not hypocrisy?

He knew they had the tendency to, That was why He was visiting them everyday.

It's like you teaching your child to do something, and then you left him by himself.
Most parents will be happy if the child is doing well, and if the child failed, you won't be too surprised because, that is the training you are giving them, to be able to make the right decisions when you are not there.

This is my own view of what happened,
The main thing here is.

Freewill (freedom)
God said, let us create man In our image and likeness.... meaning let us create people who can think and decide like we do
This explanation doesn't still answer the question.
Are you saying that God sees the future just like human parents does?
If God sees everything before it happens as some people teach, then he must have seen the decision Adam and Eve would make even with their freedom.

Answer the simple question.

Who made you a monitor of pastors and doctrines?
You've not answered mine....I thought you were the teacher here. I've been asking you whether it is wrong to examine the teachings and doctrines of many pastors Today and you've fallen short of answers.
So what right do I not have to inquire of the teachings of the pastors that you've recommended?

Which sentence in my comment warrants this question?
You are saying the op is wrong for saying that the Catholics are not Christians. I thought a Christian is one who has the true teachings of christ?
So if everyone who claims to be a Christian is a Christian, would that not mean that there are actually no false Christians, and that contradictory teachings by all churches today are acceptable by christ?
Religion / Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 7:44pm On May 23

Are your own in agreement with what they teach?

Again, who made you a monitor of pastors and doctrines?
You already know the answer to the first question that you are asking me.

So you mean I don't have the rights to know the contents of the teachings of the pastors that you are recommending?
So how are we going to learn from them?
Religion / Re: Any Advice For A Former Catholic Turned Christian?(am 18) by Michael547(m): 7:42pm On May 23

I don't have time to waste on those who are not will to learn but just here to ask uncountable questions.

Even Jesus Himself didn't answer every question people asked Him except for the sheep who sincerely want to learn from Him and to hear His Voice.

So it's wrong to assume you speak for everyone else instead of just yourself.
So you mean Jesus told you not to answer questions that is pertinent to his commandments in the gospel? You claimed Jesus told you to preach about his commandments found only in the gospel.
So what are these commandments?
