Watermelon Revolution! Of tonnes of Nigeria's problems, leadership is one of such, but not the key. That is my own submission and must be respected. Our problems are so big that, the only solutions to these problems, is introducing more problems to the already existing problems.. Leadership, masses, institutions, the solutions to these problems and those problems to the already existing problems are the problems of this country. Pardon my ignorance. Leadership is the smallest of our problems, until we know that we (the masses) are the source of our problems and agree to put an end to these problems, that is when Nigeria will move forward as it should. The idea of revolution is a welcome development, if and only if the veins and capillaries of Nigeria call for it.. The present day Nigerians are not ready for whatsoever agitation for the betterment of the country. Things are bad, getting worse and the soul of the country is deteriorating everyday and no one is talking. This is one of the reasons Bukola Elemide sang 'Fire On The Mountain'. The kind of revolution that will change the status quo will not come in a hurry. That is if it will come. The possibility of revolution in Nigeria is a two way thing. Nigeria is a country of three distinct nations. Some sections, irrespective of the magnitude of suffering and state of things, they don't care and won't be part of such. Another section will neither support nor oppose anything that will challenge the status quo, butva particular section is ever ready.. Revolution is not in any way synonymous with sipping 'Fura de nunu', it is way far from displaying your grammatical prowess on tough issues. You may think it is as soft as landing on your Mouka Foam without caution. No. It is not. Nigeria is a fertile land for revolution, but it will only takes some powerful assignments. Yes, revolution is possible in Nigeria, but not in a hurry.. There are more than two hundred ethnic groups in Nigeria, this alone can stirs the nation in less than twenty four hours, believe me, within a month, the result will be everywhere. Come to think of motivating religious institutions to demand for a better country? The Nigeria of our dream will be activated quickly. But they will rather be tools in the hands of their oppressors. I will not go into history to buttress my opinion. Surf the net. History is your friend.. My kind of revolution is already in force, anywhere you see watermelon, just inform ME, we die there.. Demrich:The complex was built in 1976, about 39 years ago. Since that time nothing has happened to that structure.. The place is just last toilet.. ... and some of these noisemakers will be lying on the net. |
OndoFirstBorn:You are a liar.. Don't forget that I know you in person. I am close to the government, don't take the people for foolishness.. |
