I have never seen NIGERIA for once to be the problems of her people, the arrangements that brought different tribes together could be undesirable, irrespective the problems confronting the country are not imaginary, they emanated from some NIGERIANS.

In February, I opened a bank account for a younger cousin of mine, it was simply a student's account. The highest that could be withdrawn at once according to one of the tellers is one hundred thousand. I wasn't aware of this until this morning when he told me that he couldn't make the withdrawal of his school fees of about two hundred and fifty thousand at once. I asked him why till he explained to me.

Many were asking questions about the illegal collection. I wanted to asked questions, the lady collecting the money said, noone would attend to you till you pay. The registration process is taken place in the ground floor of a storey building, while the collection is done in a hidden room upstair.

The rush to meet up with the deadline by Nigerians would see some of the staff of this agency illegally extort people for things already captured by the federal government during the budget preparation.

So many questions were running through my mind. The last time I accompanied a friend there in March, nothing was collected, the same when I did mine some few years ago. I wanted to ask what the collection was meant for in the first instance. These forms are ordinary photocopies, and nothing more.

Why? For what?

It is no news that about 90% of the houses in Ado Ekiti are old with bad structures. Especially those God forsaken houses around Odo-Ado, Fajuyi, omisanjana and some other terrible places.


The first time I visited Akungba I was shocked to why a sane parent will send her kids to a school with such distasteful environment. I can't even let me dog live around that area (Though there are some new places with standards)
