samopeyemi: You missed Ogun state out of the list. If there is anything Amosun has done, it's massive development of roads and several flyovers in the state. Even though most of the projects are concentrated in abeokuta, other parts still have a little to hold onto. For the past 7 years he's been governor, his major achievement has been road construction and I think if proper survey were done, he'll be among top 5 I so much agree with you. Abeokuta roads are wonderful |

OlujobaSamuel: I'm also from osun state(modakeke). Osun is having one of the best road network in the country, right from the days of Akande, Oyin and Aregbe, except you never visit other states to know the state of the road compared to others. The major area I think Aregbe is doing poorly is Education. Those saying amosun, abeg, which road are you referring to, is it the same tens of uncompleted roads from ijebu to sagam, ofada to ifo, rounder to ilaro? The only road that guy is active on is that of Oke Mosan/Kuto axis. So who did Onikolobo to Post Office? Ibara to Sapon? Lafenwa to Sapon to Olorunsogo etc. The man tried for road within Abeokuta. |

Nairaland General › Davido Bought Second Hand Porsche Car For Chioma And Not For ₦45 Million by mightyfacts(op): 10:39pm On May 02, 2018 |
The news currently making the rounds is the Porsche car Davido bought for his girlfriend, Chioma, but it been so far revealed that the car nowhere the price Davido claimed and moreover the car is not a brand new.
https://i1.wp.com/www.gqbuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/a8-1-1000x600.jpg?ssl=1
While some news sources put the value of the car at N45 million, it has been revealed that the figure Davido spent on the car is nowhere near the case. It even shows that the car is clearly a tokunbo vehicle (second hand or fairly used). Even brand new Cayennes can be obtained for less than N45 million
According to research conducted by auto aficionado’s, the truck is a 2011 model which retails from about ($25,000) N10 million, exclusive of customs and other charges which can never make it amount to N45 million.
The total value of the vehicle is usually less than N20 million. However the trim Davido purchased seems to be full options probably bringing the total value of the car to about N20 million.
https://i0.wp.com/www.gqbuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/a8-1.jpg?ssl=1
Though N20 million is still a huge sum of money, it should n’t be mistaken for N45 million as seen in the media yesterday.
Even the 2018 model starts retailing from about $65000 (N24 million) and certainly to get it to Nigeria will still be less than N40million, depending on how ambitious the car dealer is. Nairaland General › Harvard University Uses Nigeria As A Case Study Of A Failed African Country by mightyfacts(op): 11:02pm On Apr 21, 2018 |
Nigeria has yet again been ‘disgraced’ internationally, following an assignment Harvard University gave to its students in which Nigeria was used as a case study of a failed African country.https://i1.wp.com/www.gqbuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/gettyimages-94953697.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&ssl=1In a recent thesis work, the students were asked the following questions; ”Africa is growing. Seven of the the ten fastest growing economies in the world are in Africa, and the continent’s largest economies are becoming less dependent on extractive commodities. The continent’s rising middle class has demonstrated a taste for consumer goods and technological innovation, and Africa’s population-currently more than a billion people- is booming and overwhelmingly young at a time when populations in other regions are shrinking and aging. Nigeria, sub-Saharan Africa’s largest economy, epitomizes both the promise and the problems the continent faces in the 21st century. The country had failed to thrive for its first thirty years as an independent nation, despite having a developmental head start relative to countries like China and India, as well as hundreds of billions of dollars in oil revenue. Now, after pathbreaking reforms followed by signs of retrenchment, Nigeria’s new President faced both vast opportunity and grave challenges. Would the country flourish or founder in this new era? We will analyze key reforms in Nigeria’s economy, significant political developments, and the choices facing the country’s fast-growing private sector; 1. Why did Nigeria fail to thrive between 1960 and 1999, particularly relative to China and India? 2. How would you characterize former President Obasanjo’s legacy? 3. Are you bullish or bearish on the next * fifteen years for Nigeria? What would make you change your mind? 4. What opportunities do you see? 5. What are the challenges (and risks) https://i1.wp.com/www.gqbuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Harvard-University-uses-Nigeria-as-a-case-study-of-a-failed-African-country-lailasnews-554x410.png?resize=853%2C631&ssl=1 |

Typical ignorant and unintelligent ipob nonsense.
Keep quiet if you have zero facts to counter with Niccur, its not everyone that counters is an IPOB. Am a Yoruba man and lived in Oshogbo. So you can check online. My Ogun State is richer than the so called Osun |
Politics › Re: Olufunke Kolawole Lake Resort, Abeere Commissioned By Rauf Aregbesola by mightyfacts: 12:07am On Apr 19, 2018 |
deomelo: This is just a reflection of your own ignorance and cluelessness about debt.
When government take out debts to build infrastructures, it's always to create jobs, generate investments and ultimately, boost the IGR and according to available data and documented records, the debts created jobs, created educated manpower, boosted investments and massively increased the IGR which is needed to pay and service debts and build more infrastructures and create government social programs.
We don't even have to keep arguing or lecturing you ipobs all the time because the positive results for the debts are out their in black and white.
1. Osun is the 2nd state in Nigeria with the lowest unemployment rate, what position is your village?
2. Osun ranks 2nd in human capital ( human capital is defined as the skills, knowledge, and experience possessed by an individual or population, viewed in terms of their value or cost to an organisation or country. These are what actually facilitate or constrain the development of any organisation, state or nation) , what position is your village?
3. Osun ranks 2nd less miserable and poverty-ridden state Nigeria, what position is your village?
[s]4. Osun is the 2nd richest state in Nigeria, what position is your village?[/s]
5. Osun is the most peaceful and secured state in Nigeria, what position is your village?
[s]Do you know one of the reasons why they have the lowest poverty rate in Nigeria.
Look at the school feeding program, they feed tens of thousands of school children 5 days a week, it means 15,000 whole chickens, 254,000 eggs, 35 heads of cattle and 400 tonnes of catfish are purchased weekly from farmers and food vendors..[/s]
That's thousands of jobs from farmers, transports, cooperatives, food vendors, cooks and a lot of IGR moving within the local economy and into government accounts.
34% IGR increase did not happen by accident, it's because of wise, smart and strategic government policies, a text book effect of smart borrowing. Osun is not the second richest state in Nigeria. Are you sure they purchase them from vendors around Osun |

But the resort is inside the government secretariat at Abeere.
So I see no IGR here. I mean serious IGR |

Every time I recharge, the next day they will just debit my line with a message that is for one dubious service I did not subscribe to. That if I want to deactivate I should send stop to *902# and when I do and recharge again they still take all my credit balance but this time with a different named service. they moved from taking #50 to #60 and now #80 for one service soccer15. my line is 09073144200 I had the same issue with them. I called them and they pt on saying I was the one that subscribed to such plan. The solution Send STOP to 2442 |
