Well, based on how I see it, the op shouldn't attempt to replace her quickly and use another lady as a rebound. It would likely boomerang and the new lady might be the recipient of the frustration and pent-up anger the op carried from his previous relationship, even if the new lady isn't toxic like the previous one.

He should endeavor to take his time to heal fully from the toxicity firstly, before venturing into another relationship.
