Before reading all that, i have been following this particular story.
when the parents of the girl went with a lawyer, they were shown the judgment passed by the court (my question number 2 is still unanswered).
my take on this is; i dont have any problem with the conversion of the girl to islam afterall she is 24, she is free to take her decisions. what i am against is holding her in the palace, the parents have every right to see her.

I have been following this story for months now,
it seems the police are scared of this man since he is a retired general.
my questions are;
1. How can u take a non muslim to a sharia court?
2. how can a court sit on the 4th, hear the case, deliver judgement and enforce
the court decision on the same day? something is definitely wrong somewhere.
