Answer Question 1.
Produce a biomechanical model using the following procedure:

4. Using the same assumptions recalculate the muscle force for a 120 degree elbow flexion angle. Comment on which parameters will be changing and their influence on the muscle force magnitude using an appropriate sketch to illustrate this change. [3]

5. Assuming the person is curling the weight upwards with a constant angular velocity of 1s-1
i) Write what equation should be used in this dynamic situation using your lecture notes [2]

ii) What further inputs are needed in terms of anthropometry in addition to the static ones [2]

iii) Produce a Free Body Diagram indicating all the acting forces [4].
