U20 glory in 2009 not 2011. I said nothing of the wednesday match. I believe nigeria is more than capable of beating us after the poor showing against mali. However I welcome surprises. conceeding defeat already? |

kimco: David addy plays in portugal I think. Inkoom, well he was overaged rly. Agyeman badu plays for udinese and the national team. Opare has had his share of blackstars play time, if he stops being an idiot he'll be back. Ransford osei and adiyiah have made wrong decisions in their career that has cost them a lot. Jonathan mensah plays in france I think, and a cenral figure in black stars. Rabiu also features for the black stars and is very central in our midfield. So as u can see, unlike ur over grown world cup winning u17 players in 2007 or so, a sizeable amount of the wc winning u-20s actually play for the national team. unlike ur ghanaian team, we have too many stars in naija, not fielding or graduating some players to the national senior side means there are other talented players coaches call up to stake for places in the senior side, FYI chrysantus still plays active football somewhere in europe, haruna lukman plays for FC Dynamo Kyiv in the ukranian league, very active, rabiu ibrahim use to play for kilmanoock in the scottish league, majority of those players that played along side chrisantus and rabiu ibrahim are still playing club football in europe so i dont know where ur argument is based. |

Motherforker12: Don't mind them soccer is a physical game. They Say the same thing about all Ghanaian teams because we always man handle them. We are more skillful and physical from senior team to junior team.
Come Wednesday they will insult their team once more. I trust nigeria to insult their team whenever they loses. They are a bunch of front runners. These nigerians ain't loyal jiggaman abi petrodollar, wednesday no far, u go know the difference btw i was there and i shall be there, person wey don faint before no be stranger to death, ur team has suffered defeat more than once in our hands so the one u ll suffer on wed will surely be an icing on the cake for us |

Editor1: Flying Eagles captain, Musa Muhammed, has disclosed that some Junior Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire begged him to miss the second-half penalty awarded to Nigeria in Saturday’s African Youth Championship Group A match. The Ivoirians were leading 2-1 before left-back Mustapha Abdullahi was hacked down in the box. Muhammed stepped up to convert the resultant spot kick for his third goal of the tournament but not before he was begged to miss the kick. “The players including the goalkeeper begged me to miss the penalty, saying we are all champions and we should play for each other,” Muhammed said . “But I remained focused and professional to score the penalty and earn us a draw, which was a sweet revenge for the two losses we suffered at the hands of the Ivorian U-17 team two years ago in Morocco. Most of the players from that tournament were also here in Senegal. “In Morocco, we were against both Cote d’Ivoire and the referee. They kicked us so much that at a time (Isaac) Success wanted to be replaced.” Nigeria will face Group B runners-up – which could either be Mali or Ghana – for Wednesday’s semi-final in Dakar. “I have seen here in Senegal at least six players from the Mali U-17 team we played against two years ago in a qualifying match for the 2013 CAF U-17 Championship,” he said. “They are very big and powerful players but we will be ready for them on Wednesday.” But his coach, Manu Garba, expects Ghana to fight for a result against Mali on Sunday so as to avoid his team in the semi-final of the AYC. Ghana are top of the group and need only a point to qualify and Manu knows they will do everything to avoid playing Nigeria. “I want to believe both Ghana and Mali will play so as to avoid us in the semi-final on Wednesday,” he said. “If I were their coaches, I would do the same thing too.” Last month the Flying Eagles played two friendly games with the Black Satellites. They won the first one 2-0 in Tema and were forced to a 2-2 draw in Accra in the second game.
www.thecable.ng/ivoirians-begged-miss-spot-kick-says-feagles-captain wrong: They were forced to a 2-2 draw in Accra in the first game and they beat the ghanaian team 2-0 in Tema in the second game where they brutally hacked down our very own midfiel general musa yahaya aka iniesta (scorer of one of the goals). |

Fulba: Please can any one tell me what Ivory Coast did to us (Naija) two years ago? I'm just wondering why everyone is glad that they got revenge for last two year. Thanks guys! they used their jam body football to beat us 1 nil in our first match against them in d group stages then edged us on penalties in d final to lift the trophy. It was too painful a defeat for me to swallow. That was a team complete with iheanacho, Isaac success, nwakali, Musa yahaya, okon and d rest. Now we prevented them from Going to the world Cup. The revenge is so sweet |
