Investment › If You've Been Trading Forex And You Make Consistent Profit Please Indicate by Mikuni(op): 5:24pm On Jan 30 |
I've been trading currencies for a while now. Made some profits and I felt confident I was ready to take trading as a full-time job.
I was able to double my account in a week of trading, made a couple of withdrawals almost every two days. This went on for about two weeks.
Yesterday, I was down by 3% of my capital for the first time. So I panicked, and started looking for an alternative to quickly generate something since my setup wasn't on the charts that period.
So I decided to trade gold for the first time in my life. This was due to the surge I saw at that moment. Price retraced breaking two main support levels on the hourly timeframe, so I decided to buy immediately. I wasn't even able to set a SL before my account was wiped.
Of course I didn't follow my strategy on that trade. I only wanted to take advantage of that move; probably caused by some news release.
Is anyone here able to trade and make consistent profits for a period of 5 months at least?

Mayflowa: You guys are not nice. This reflects on poor management. Because he shouted on a teammate, management would ask Osimhe to leave?? Many top player have a high passion for their game so much so they act of order when they they lose a game or any opportunity. When you are in the game, it's a different spirit. Why punish him instead of uniting the team spirit. To punish someone out of the game follows a methodical process and they voted to discipline him even with all of the online insults Osimhe received. So we want to destroy the team because of one incident I can't believe y'all are supporting his harsh discipline. So if your teammate shouts at you in the middle of a match, you'll just smile abi? |

Offpoint1: 😂 Money I for use 50m stake 2 odds before I return.
I've once seen such money in my account before, 700k. There was no credit alert, no transaction record on my bank statement or app history. I have to leave it since it wasn't a wrong transfer. I left it for over 6 months, the bank was deducting their usually charges from it.
After the 8th month, I start deducting my own charges until my charges exceeded the money. And they didn't reach out to you?
Wrong transfer I'll return, ghost money goes nowhere.
Before you come for me, remember the bank started touching the money before me.
They were taking charges and I was also taking charges until there was no money left for both of us to take charges from. |

OBEHIOYE: Your first sentence na rubbish talk. The truck has been there for weeks. It was still there 3days after the accident. If the truck wasn't there, they would've had space to maneuver. Reckless driving, plus bad road plus, poor traffic and speed control system in Nigeria caused their death. I honestly wouldn't even blame the driver. Which sane driver would drive recklessly knowing the caliber of people in his vehicle?? |
Sports › Re: Anthony Joshua’s Driver Charged To Court, Granted Bail by Mikuni(m): 5:48am On Jan 03*. Modified: 6:08am On Jan 03 |
Nigeria does not have an effective system to curb over speeding. Our road officials and police are only interested in your money.
I don't think the driver was at fault. And I don't think the vehicle was in bad shape. I'd rather believe the road conditions didn't enhance safe driving.
Most annoying thing is Anthony Joshua and his colleagues might have been warned, probably in dreams before the accident.
Be vigilant, stay away from alcohol and other vices that block your spiritual monitor. Clear your mind and be sensitive to warnings. |

Well, if you're burying her in Naija, I hope they won't exhume that casket. Prophet TB Joshua won't do this, even though he had much more money. He always considered the poor. Jesus never really cared about burial ceremonies.

Family › Re: Someone Earning 100k Naira, Should Not Consider Marriage by Mikuni(m): 11:37pm On Nov 29, 2025 |
SpencerForbes: Let's be real here. How many 40-year-olds walking our streets right now can actually boast of ₦2 million liquid cash? Plenty of them are struggling, yet they have families. Are we saying they shouldn't procreate? That’s not sustainable.
In Nigeria, hard work isn’t the ultimate solution. You can hustle for 30 years and still have nothing significant to show for it. If we base starting a family on the official minimum wage, literally nobody would be giving birth.
The real problem is not having a child, it’s having too many children without a plan. If you manage yourself and have just one kid, how is that a burden?
And seriously, why are we making Pampers the ultimate financial obstacle? It’s just a year or two out of a lifetime. If you have a solid plan, rent that is manageable (say, ₦200k/annum), and some decent savings (even ₦5 million figure), you have a great platform to start. It’s tough only at the beginning, but smart people grow.
If we agree with these standards, then what about people in villages and rural areas? How many of them earn ₦200k per month, let alone have ₦5 million saved? Yet, life goes on and families are raised. Some of the kids even turn out better than children raised in luxury or even abroad. Modest with wisdom is good. The money isn’t the problem but lack of wisdom is the ultimate problem. You sound like you're married to an understanding woman. Something tells me you aren't married. Well, I'm not married too. |

ibechris: Someone earning 250k should not try to go close. The person earning 100k should not even promised any woman marriage.
I used to advice men to marry quick but now...I really do not have any advice to give again.
If u don't marry wisely, the marriage would hit u like where a trailer had a head on collision.
Marriage is very dangerous without adequate money to run its internal costs.
I earn 200k plus but it doesn't last me two days. After paying my nanny, pay my children teachers and give to my parents, set aside Nepa bill, fueling two cars in a month, feeding in a month...I might have spent close to 1.2m...it is crazy...not to mention other sundry expenses...all thanks to my side income.
What do i know self..marriage is not for the faint hearted my people.
If u must marry, marry a financially prepared spouse. That doesn't mean u should look for a rich woman or man ...no! but a woman/ man who is financially prepared to manage with u,live with u in tough days and not a downer How far? Can I get one car from you? It'll help reduce the fuel expenses for you. |

Africans are animals. It shows how foolish we really are. It had to take a white lady to show compassions. Big headed Nigerian men and women saw the boy suffering, but none of them did nothing. Same way Mary Slessor had to stop the killing of twins here.
Whites are simply superior to blacks. |
