Nairaland jo soapy. I don't know why I'm in a soapy mood o. NTD V has finished me. Now let's have our creme brulee and black forest cake. ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Délé heeded to Tìmí's advice and wondered if it was the right thing. He wanted Tinú back but Tìmí advised him to grant her the divorce. He had reasoned that Tinú had married him due to his mother's deceit and as such he needed to let her go. He signed the papers and delivered them to her house. His heart broke at her elation. She even thanked him for signing the papers. She allowed him to see the twins for the last time, as they were moving out. He saw at the smug look on Chris' face and couldn't help but feel like a loser. He walked into his children's room and found them asleep. They couldn't even see him for the last time. He wished for a lot of things. He wished he had done things differently. He looked at them and cried. They had just recently grown attached and he was about to cease to be a part of their lives. He took out his phone and took a picture of them. He'd hold onto that till he sees them again. He smiled weakly at the picture. These were the only good things he had done in his life. They made all his degrees and accomplishments fade away. He walked out of the room slowly, relishing every glimpse he got of them, trying to capture their sleeping bliss in his mind. He sighed as he got out of the room. He heard Tinú laughing and Chris shushing her. Jealousy flowed alongside the blood in his veins. A voice of reason reminded him of the fact that he was no longer her husband. He walked out of the house jealous and angry at himself. Tinú squealed as Chris touched her tummy. "Keep it down! People will think I'm beating you.", he chided. " It's not my fault I'm ticklish.", she defended. "I wish you can come with me.", he put in. " You know I can't. I have to resume on Monday. My new boss is most definitely not going to be as in love with me as my old one. ", she explained. " He better not. Else, I'll pull his head off his body!", he flared and Tinú burst into laughter. "Why did you have to leave?" "Chris, I can't have you bending rules for me. The code of conduct and fraternity policy says we can't be together if we intend to get married.", she explained. " Miss goody two shoes! ", he teased. She stuck out her tongue in response and he tickled her. She rolled around on the bed laughing and squirming. Noises and voices ambushed his eardrums as he was trying real hard to concentrate. He had a lot of things to resolve before he left for good Chapter 11 two years later. Felicia turned quickly to avoid the man coming ahead. What on earth is he doing here? She turned to another aisle and she saw her son looking at some of the toys on the shelf. Her heart melted. She had spent every waking moment thinking of him. She found herself moving closer to him. The boy felt someone enter his personal space and turned to see who it was. His eyes widened and he rubbed them to be sure of what he was seeing. The young boy screamed in joy and ran to hug her. She broke into tears and picked him up. He was heavy but she didn't mind. She inhaled his scent and wept. " Mummy, where did you go?", the boy asked. "Felicia?", Jaiyé's voice called and she gasped, giving away her identity. She had forgotten she was supposed to run away. " Daddy, Mummy is back. God answered our prayer. ", the boy gushed. She put him down and turned to face Jaiyé. She couldn't keep running and hiding. Jaiyé walked to her, so happy he had found her. " Felicia, we need to talk.", he said coolly. ✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴ Tinu sighed as she entered the room. Somehow, she dreaded coming home these days. She strolled into their walk in closet only to find her personal effects missing. She couldn’t have been more surprised. All her clothes and shoes were missing. Everything was as it was before she moved in with him. She turned around and met Chris standing behind her. “Chris, what’s the meaning of this?”, she blared in anger. “it’s a good thing you’re here. I’ve had your things moved to the guest room.”, he replied casually. “Chris, I’ve been able to take your shit for the past two months but not any longer. If you have something to say, now’s the best time.” “please leave my room”, he announced. “I don’t know what I did to deserve such husbands. Why are you angry? At least I knew why dele hated me.” “I’m not in the mood for chitchat” “forget it. I’m done with you.”, she said as she made to leave. “then it’s best you return to dele. He’d be glad to have you back.” Sorry about the terrible capitalization and punctuation. Man's tired. |

answerspls:Thank you. I just checked online for Teco Benson. He seems great. I'm grateful for the comparison. About the grammar, I have Nora Roberts, Veronica Roth, Suzanne Wright, J.K. Rowling and E.L. James to thank for that. I can only hope to be like them in expression when I grow up. |
answerspls:Thanks b. |
Younghacka:Lol. Till 7pm |
Younghacka:Why, thank you!! God! I'm totally fanning myself right now and I have tears in my eyes. I have totally gbese because of this comment. Soapy intensifies. Thanks g ![]() |
answerspls:I totally understand but please be patient. The story is beyond Tinu, Chris and Dele. Felicia and Jaiye's story is important for what is to come. Bibiana and Ose's relationship is the very foundation on which what is to come is built. So let's be patient. I promise your patience will be worth it. At least I hope |
izaray:You're welcome |
