An eyewitness and a commuter this evening today being the 6th of July, 2017 at about 9pm on Lagos/Abeokuta expressway between Cement bust stop and Iyana Dopemu bus stop, reported a total traffic gridlock.

Commuters were stranded as vehicles coming from the Oshodi direction, drove against the traffic coming from Abeokuta, resulting in total gridlock of the roads. The traffic was standstill.
