TV/MoviesTalking Of Big Brother Naija 2019 – My 7 Personal Beliefs You Can’t Ignore by MimieJay(op): 5:29pm On Jul 15, 2019
I’m here, getting things done, as the day moves forward in this continuous sequence of checklists, actions, and respites. At random moments of my routine, I’d pause and take a look at my TV, the scenes of the new reality show and the blur of these all-too-familiar housemates.

Big Brother Nigeria 2019 has begun and without doubt, it has kept a lot of people glued to their TV screens including Don Jazzy, lol. Well, I’m part of ‘a lot of people’ so don’t feel judged. In light of this, I can’t help but wonder… If there is more to it all.

Therefore, based on my random thoughts and what I’ve seen so far, I have come up with these 7 ‘personal’ beliefs about BBNAIJA 2019.

DISCLAIMER: The thoughts expressed in this article are extremely personal and may not be true or correlate with your opinion. They are just random thoughts that I choose to believe so I can sleep well at night.

For The Village People That Are Hearing “BBNaija” For The First Time…

In case you didn’t know, Big Brother Nigeria is a reality show in which a number of contestants live in the same house for a number of days. This year, there are 21 contestants living together in an isolated apartment. Big Brother Naija 2019 was initially set to run for 92 days, however, on the day it aired, the organisers added one more week making it 99 days.

It’s basically a survival of the fittest or luckiest, whichever, and the winner is whoever has the highest votes among the last 4 that make it to the end of the show without being evicted along the line.

The current housemates in BBNaija 2019 include Mike, Seyi, Khafi, Gedoni, Mercy, Tacha, Diane, Ella, Isilomo, Nelson, Omashola, Thelma, Jeff, Avala, Tuoyo, Frodd, Jackye, Ike, Kimoprah, Seyi and Sir Dee. Avala, Ella, Kimoprah and Isilomo have been evicted, leaving 17 housemates in the game.

Back to the subject matter.

Here Are My 7 Personal Opinions Concerning BBNaija 2019

1. Big Brother Naija Isn’t A Live Show ‘Per Se’
The show is presented to be a live show, that is, showing housemates activities in ‘realtime’. I choose not to believe that. The organizers must have a time margin to conclude on best scenes and prepare for possible flops that are not suitable for airing. Let’s say ‘5 minutes’. Which is a very smart move. So the scenes you see on TV are probably 5 minutes ago in realtime, but the organizers have used the interval to decide and filter which scene is best to keep the show engaging.

Maybe this explains why there is no ‘clock’ in the big brother house. Also, I was watching the show yesterday and I noticed the audio was some seconds faster than the video.

2. SimplyTacha Will Last More Than 60 Days In BBNaija House
Simply Tacha could be the new ‘CeeC’ among the big brother housemates. She is one of the most popular among the housemates (for now)) and she has great pride in it. She was a social media influencer and she says she has always wanted to be on Big Brother house.

I believe she would last long in the house even if she doesn’t win the show because she has a large number of fans outside the house. Presently, she has the likes of Naira Marly, Bobrisky, Adewale Adeleke (Davido’s brother), Twyse, Wofai Fada, Jaruma and Moesha Buduong rooting for her. These people have great influence and can help her get far in the house.

She describes herself as being goofy and said she’ll be bringing the ‘drama’ considering her “do no harm but take no mess” watchword. Personally, I’m yet to see that but I guess there’s still time.

3. Big Brother Naija House Is Located In Ikeja
One of the most common questions that have come up since the beginning of the show is ‘where is big brother house located in Nigeria?”

I heard the sound of train ‘horn’ in the background once while they were in the arena. So, I concluded in my head that big brother Naija house is on the mainland. Most likely at Ikeja. Although other people have speculated that it’s on the island, infact, someone who wishes to remain anonymous said he saw them around his area in Lekki (but you know Twitter people can lieeee).

4. The Audition Process For Big Brother Naija Wasn’t On Merit
One question please, or two. Do they mean to say, Mike, verified on Instagram, a CEO and an athlete came all the way from Manchester to Nigeria to audition? And he went through all the hassle and stress with over 5000 people? I think not.

Khafi, a policewoman in the UK, also quit her job and came to Nigeria for big brother Naija audition?. I don’t think so

Kimoprah, in my opinion, was a slot for Derenle as there are pictures on social media that portray her as a friend of his and Khloe’s (a contestant from Big Brother Naija 2018″

Something definitely is not right with their means of entry into the house. And we all know anything in Nigeria can be manipulated with money or influence.

5. Bet9ja Will Benefit More From The Show Compared With Payporte
Bet9ja is a brand that already has a place in the business, I mean, it’s literally Nigeria’s number 1 betting website. They just need a way to place them above their competitors. With. BbNaija, it’s easy to occupy the mind of people so when they think of betting they think of Bet9ja. Smart move if you ask me!.

Payporte, on the other hand, should have invested more in getting the e-commerce business right before going that wild with marketing. What’s worse is, presently I don’t see anyone saying they got this or that from Payporte. They have an almost nonfunctional website and their offline store doesn’t seem to be in tune.

6. There’ll Be More Celebrity Guest Visitors In The House This Time
One of the interesting things the organizers of big brother Naija does is to bring in different celebrities at different times into the house. Usually, they just hang out with the housemates and have interactive sessions.

I believe there’ll be more celebrity guest visitors in the house this time compared to the last season because the location is in Nigeria. It is easier and more cost-effective than when they had to travel all the way to South Africa. Notwithstanding, I don’t think they’ll want to overdo it.

7. Bet9ja Will Place Stakes On The Housemates
You can beg to differ but I believe at some point, bet9ja would make provisions on their website for the audience to bet on activities in the Big Brother Naija house. These activities can include, the head of house for a week, winner of a particular task or tasks, housemates to be evicted and even the overall winner of big brother Naija 2019.

I can remember nairabet did it last year, so it won’t be difficult for Bet9ja, being the sponsor, to pull it.

Where To Watch Big Brother Naija 2019?

In case you’re wondering what channel number shows BBNaija 2019 on DSTV and GoTV, it’s channel 198 and channel 29 respectively.

Mimiejay Signing Out!

While these ‘irrelevant’ thoughts do not expand the nation’s economy or stretch the horizons of what is already what, I bet you cannot totally ignore all my points.

However, as I said earlier, feel free to differ, these are just personal conclusions made to strengthen the health of my mind and make me sleep peacefully at night while having the satisfaction that I already have big brother figured out.

Nevertheless, it’s all fun! Goodnight.

Romance13 Types Of Exes – Which One Is Yours / Which One Are You? by MimieJay(op): 10:42am On Jul 06, 2019
What’s popping people!!!!! How are you doing this Saturday morning?

How are y’all doing?. Today my gist cap is on and from the topic, you know what we’re here for. EXes!!!! Yes! No doubt some of you reading this would have a story or must have heard a story about Exes.

Before finally settling down with your ‘life partner’, it’s pretty normal to have fun and enjoy the dating world (although some aren’t totally fun). Some people go through a smooth break up, some terrible while others have not-so-bad breakup but usually, the common ground is that there are usually lesson(s) to be learned from these relationships.

So today, based on my experience and that of some people I know, I’ll be telling you about types of exes, lol, and probably lessons they taught us.

1. The One That Got Away: Whenever you think of this ex, with no strings attached, you just can’t help but wonder what life would have been like if you two were still together. It was a happy relationship, he had all the right qualities you wanted but the timing just wasn’t right. This one prolly taught you that you can love a person 100% but love isn’t all that makes a successful relationship

2. The Social media stalker: This kind of ex is a lurker, never says “hi”, doesn’t talk to you AT ALL but is sure to be among the first 3 people to view your posts on social media… and you’re like dudeeeee (refers to male or female).. leave me the heck alone. But on the flip side..lol it’s good to see that someone is interested in how your life is going (ps: could still be dangerous)

3. Calendar Alert Ex: This one!…can double as a google calendar reminder. The only time you’d probably hear from this ex in the whole year is 12 midnight on your birthday. For some reasons, this ex can’t just forget your birthday, worse, can’t overcome the temptation not to say “happy birthday” every year. With this one in your life, you can’t forget a birthday.

4. Best Friends Forever: The one thing that would always be impossible in your relationship with this ex is romantic chemistry. And even if the relationship ended on a bad note, both of you just couldn’t hate each other. The question both of you ask yourselves is why you ever dated in the first place. The relationship was damn awkward or messy until you broke it off and became just friends. Now you have a very platonic kind of love for this person, you can gist with this person and even hang out sometimes. This Ex simply taught you that some relationships might not work out for some reasons but you can be great friends.

5. The One You’re Ashamed To Call Your Ex: This one, makes you lie and say “no” when asked if you dated. Presently you think of him/her and ask yourself “how did I date someone like this”. It’s worse when you remember the times you kissed or did something more with this person. hahaha. This is an embarrassing ex. This one was probably an eye-opener for you and taught you what you don’t want in your life.

6. The One Who Ghosted you: *inserts we don’t talk anymore by Charlie Puth*. lol.
This ex never gave the opportunity to talk or be friends after the breakup. After the break up happened, the next course of action he/she took was to delete you off WhatsApp, block you on every social media, cut off mutual friends and does EVERY DAMN THING POSSIBLE to make sure you never meet in present or future. This relationship most likely ended in a bad way and it’s the person’s way to move on. Haha.

FashionLoving Makeup Is Not A Sign Of Insecurity! by MimieJay(op): 7:39pm On Jul 04, 2019
Insecure? me? Hell no!.
A few weeks back I found myself in a conversation with some people about ladies and their love for makeup. I listened quietly, enjoying the conversation until someone decided to find trouble and said: ” You do a lot of makeup just because you’re insecure”.

https://mimiejay.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/IMG_7898-1255x706.jpg

All hell was let loose, I could count about a million and one reasons why that was a very wrong statement to make. To the best of my ability, I corrected his notion on behalf of myself and every other person labelled insecure just because they wear makeup or love makeup.

I was about to take a good nap on this cold Thursday evening when I remembered that incident again and I thought ‘why not bring it here’.

I know too well that the world judges a lot, judges the way we act, judges the way we feel about our bodies, judges the way we choose to express ourselves, worst- judges the way we put on makeup.

I have grown into loving makeup. I love to beat faces ( got cool cash off some) and love to have my face beat too. I see makeup as an art and I love experimenting with it. I flood my phone with the best makeup hacks, work myself out so as to afford the best makeup products. I mean, it is my passion and I’d do anything to see it bloom. Day in, day out, my drive to always be the best at what I do became bigger. Yes, makeup means that much to me.

I find it very amusing that a lot of people feel my self-esteem game was lit just because of make-up or that I wore make-up to make an impression or bad enough because I was not confident without it. First off, if there was anyone I was impressing with my makeup, it is my gorgeous self. Two, without makeup, my confidence game is lit.

Whoever started the thing about girls who use makeup being insecure about themselves? I thought this thing was about whom you are on the inside and not necessarily on the outside. I personally think if one doesn’t build confidence from inside, no amount of makeup can do that. So why judge people who put on makeup?

The most confident people I’ve ever met never attribute their self-confidence to what stays on their faces. They just wear makeup because they love it and yes because they feel good about makeup. Nothing more, nothing less. I am a great fan of makeup and I always have makeup on, not because I have to but because I love having it on.

In our world, women are always at the centre of criticism no matter what we do. If we choose not to wear makeup, then we’re unprofessional, ugly, or not ladylike. If we choose to go all out, we’re insecure, whorish, or vain. One thing that has helped me all along is that I have never tried to fit into what I hoped society would consider an appropriate amount of makeup. As a lady, I always enjoy being myself. I have a pretty face without makeup sooooo, makeup is just the cherry on the red velvet cake.

It is high time we changed our notion about makeup and how it makes ladies “lie”. Makeup is not so much of a big deal, please. I enjoy the process of putting it on, so when I have the time, I wear a fair amount. But if I wake up late and don’t have the time to put on makeup, I still feel like a badass in myself. I’m just doing me, you do you too.

Do not let anyone tag you insecure or make you feel less of yourself because you wear makeup. Guess what, even if you use it to cover a flaw or scar you have on your face, it doesn’t mean you are insecure. Just do whatever makes YOU happy.

If you do not may not feel the same way about makeup as I do. It is beautiful too. If you are not a fan of the process, it’s okay too. Our bodies are different and how we choose to express ourselves is completely different. Don’t just judge me because of what I have on, just do what works for you.

FashionEasy Halo Eyeshadow Makeup Tutorial (step By Step Tutorial + Video) by MimieJay(op):
Today, I'm going to be showing you how to create a Halo eye-makeup look. There's a video at the end demonstrating all these steps are more.

https://mimiejay.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/How-I-Edit-My-Photos-825x515.jpg

I will take you through the instructions, step-by-step. Don’t think that its name is confusing so it will be a difficult one. I have explained the easy steps down below.

Let’s move on and create an amazing Halo Eye makeup look!

1. Always start off with a primer

A primer is a basic necessity before starting off with eye-makeup. A primer also helps to make eyeshades pop and last a very long time. Apply your primer as the first step before we move on to the second step. One of the cult classic is the MAC eye shadow primer which comes in a little pot, other less expensive and equally good eyeshadow primers are Ben Nye clown white and LA Girl eyeshadow primer.

2. Take a transition shade and put it in the crease

A transition shade is great to add more depth in your eye look. It is usually a light colour that will help all the next eyeshades blend better. This is also very important while working on a Halo eye.

3. Apply a medium-toned eyeshadow to the inner and outer corners

First off, you need to know the basics of how to apply eyeshadow properly. In this next step, let’s assume that we are going for a purple and blue eye (video below). For that, you need to put the purple shadow in the inner and outer corners of the eye. You can make it darker to add more depth to the eye look. Make sure you’re using the appropriate brush for this. To know what brushes to use for what, check out this post different makeup brushes and how to use them. What you need to keep in mind is that your *corners* are the only areas with product until now. The eye-lid needs to be bare.

4. Proceed to darken your inner and outer corners

Using a smaller blending brush, use a little darker eye-shadow to make both the corners darker. Again, be careful with keeping the centre of the eye-lid free of the purple shade.

We're almost there. Read the rest of the steps here >>> How To Create Halo Eye Makeup Look

Jokes EtcQuick Gist: I Got Scammed By A Waiter At Funnybone Untamed by MimieJay(op):
Gather around everyone, lol, I have come with another gist! A few weeks back, I wrote about how I almost got scammed by a ‘yahoo’ girl, little did I know that the real scam was waiting for me, looking at me like…

https://mimiejay.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/image.jpg

The Great Day…

Last Sunday, my boyfriend and I decided to take a break from the week stress and sort of celebrate the launch of my first ebook – a makeup tutorial booklet + videos; we went for FunnyBone Live untamed show. I ‘kaked up‘ mehn! Leather skirt, Leather Jacket and Leather boots, like a correct babe.

The First Cruise…

First off, we went to this restaurant, paid about 20k for a buffet.. guess what? Your girl decided to eat rice and stew, I barely even finished a plate. That was round one money loss.

The Funny Show…

The show started, I was laughing my ribs out already and somewhere along the line, I got thirsty. Yunno, we were in the VIP section so there were people around to meet our needs for foods, drinks and what have you.

For almost 30 minutes I tried to get the attention of these guys that were going and coming like pendulum bob, helping people get majorly drinks and at last, I was able to get hold of one.

The Order…

So I said, “hi, I would like to order some drinks, can I see your menu?” He says “yes ma” and he handed over the menu to me. looking at it, the economist in me wanted to return the paper like ‘Nah fam, I’m not paying this ridiculous amount for just drinks” but I was too thirsty.

My first choice was a pack of fruit juice, 2 cans energy drinks and a bottle of water to last us the night…which summed up to 6500 (something that would have cost 1550 max) but no shaking, 5K extra won’t kill me. Unfortunately, I didn’t have cash up to that on me, I asked if I could pay with my card, the guy said no, so I had to change my order to one cup of fruit juice and one can of energy drink for my boyfriend, everything was 3k which was literally all the cash I had on me. I gave him, he left, said he’ll be back in few minutes.

Few minutes became…

https://mimiejay.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/few-years-later.jpg

I started feeling uneasy, looking around for the guy, he didn’t show up oo.

The Confusion…

After a while, I left where I was sitting to check around for him or their stand so I could report, I didn’t see the stand but I saw a guy wearing similar outfit, told him what happened and he said ‘pls hold on ma, I’ll ask my colleagues’. This one too didn’t come back. I saw someone else, same outfit but with a ‘manager’ badge. I was a little happy thinking at least this one should be able to do something. He said ‘pls go back to your seat, he’ll come and meet you’. I was like “I’ve been waiting for hours and you’re saying to go back?’.

The Conclusion…

At this stage, I realised…

https://mimiejay.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/ive-been-scammed-1.jpg

I couldn’t cry but I was deeply hurt, not by the money but by the act. How can people be so mean? What kind of heart does he have?

Anyway, my boyfriend told me sorry.. lol. And we went back home after the show.

WOW, I got scammed for real!.

The Moral Lesson…

Do not give a waiter money before getting your order. Let him bring it first, then you pay.

Fashion7 Beauty And Skin Care Brands That Will Literally Change Your Life by MimieJay(op): 2:28pm On Jun 10, 2019
Skin care is a necessity to have flawless and glowing skin. People who take this seriously are always looking for the next best product that will give them a glowing, smooth, angelic and altogether flawless skin. And if you’re a naturalist like me, you’d always be on the hunt for brands who use 100% natural ingredients.

This may seem like a difficult task considering the numerous brands available in the market but judging from popularity, positive reviews and personal experience (I’ve used a few of the products listed in this post) below are the 7 top skincare and beauty brands in Nigeria as at 2019

1. Skin Apothecary

This Nigerian based skincare brand was founded by Naomi Umunna who is a Nigerian skincare expert. It is a brand who has consistently created fabulous products from natural and raw ingredients. Outstanding among their products is the liquid black soap (aka liquid gold) found to have tested and trusted healing properties as well as their lightweight soap which is known to help clear skin blemishes, heal skin problem and generally improve skin conditions.

Another product you should try is their whipped Bubblegum flavoured shea butter, your skin would thank you for it.

2. Arami Essentials

This is another awesome Nigerian skincare brand. They believe you don’t need complex products to achieve great skin and hair goals, and natural ingredients are always the best hence they formulate their products with the least possible ingredients that give maximum results.

Arami is great because their products are made from natural ingredients sourced from African continents renowned for their effectiveness and have been tested and trusted overtime by generations of women processor.

3. YouSkin Beauty

Despite being a relatively new beauty brand, YouSkin beauty products have been a game changer in many Nigerian’s skincare routine.

It is a brand committed to helping people restore their skin back to its original state. Their Vitamin C cleanser contains ingredients such as vitamin c, aloe vera and rosehip oil which helps to smoothen fine lines and wrinkles as well as give a firmer and glowing skin.

They have products other products; toners, cleansers and acids that have proven to be effective for their users. You definitely should try out these irresistible anti-ageing products.

Business5 Ways To Stay Focused And Productive While Working From Home by MimieJay(op): 5:38pm On Jun 06, 2019
Working from home can feel like a dream come true; no dress code, no conference room meetings, no driving any distance to get to work.
All these are cool until personal obligations, too much comfort and some other distractions begin to affect your productivity. This can be as a result of lack of supervision and dependence on your proactiveness to get things done... I mean, nobody is going to beat you if you don't do something at the time you're supposed to do it, you can decide in between works to do your laundry, phone or receive a phone call from a friend.

The problem here is, at the end of the day, you realise you've spent too much time on these distractions and try to make up for it in the midnight or at any time when you should ideally be resting.

I have been working from home for a while, I've faced most of the pros and cons of working from home and over time I've been able to bring these experiences together to get lasting solutions to hindrances to being productive while working at home. Most of this centres around being able to set boundaries. Without further delay, I'll go right into 5 Ways To Stay Focused And Productive While Working From Home.

1. Be Sincere With Yourself

In all honesty, not everyone is built for working from home. You need to think it through, is working from home a good choice for you? Examine your character whether you are the type that gets distracted on time or you need some form of activities or human around you to keep you engaged. If you're any of those and you must work from home, you'll need to put in even more effort so that your work wouldn't be affected.

2. Have a workspace

Personally, this is something that has helped me a lot. Sitting on the couch or laying in bed with your laptop gives room for too much comfort. You should designate a space as your work area where to do all your work, if you keep moving from living room to kitchen to bedroom, your thoughts won't be together and your productivity would be all over the place. Quick tip, sometimes you can actually dress the part, I mean dress up like you're going to an actual office. For females who love to do makeup, loving makeup isn't a sign of insecurity, you can decide to do simple makeup as well. All these are just to help you create a work atmosphere.

3. Set Boundaries

You need to treat your work at home as you would if you were working in an office. By this I mean, excesses you wouldn't allow from family and friends. Unapologetically state your boundaries and try to make it clear to your family and friends that working from home doesn't mean you have time for chitchats or activities that are not related to your work. You can say to them for example, that you'd be working from 9 am till 3 pm but sometime around 12 noon, you have about 20 minutes to chat. This way, people will have more respect your limits and wouldn't interrupt at times when you would be working (unless of course its an emergency)

In cases where you have unexpected visitors, especially one who is going to take a lot of time, you should be diplomatic with your response. Allow few minutes of conversation but do not suggest an extended discussion. Politely but say something that implies you have some work to do and would meet up with the person some other time.

4. Have A Schedule

When you wake up each day, you should have an idea of what you want to do and achieve that day. Establish your work hours, identify your tasks for the day, create a system to help you prioritize and set time for each task according to levels of priority keeping it in mind that you have to stick with them. On a wider note, you should also have a list of your task for the week, month and months. For tasks that require uninterrupted attention, you could turn off your phone or emails just so you don't get any distraction. As you stick to your schedule and do each task one after you realize you've had a productive day.

5. Take A Break

In making a schedule, it is expedient that you leave spaces in between to rest. It's not healthy to work straight from morning to evening or night. Take short breaks to refresh your mind, you could walk around the house, move from your work desk to the couch, eat something if possible or take a drink, just give your brain a break and then go back to your work again.

Creating an environment that works personally for you is the most important factor to successfully work from home. It's okay to experiment with different things and figure out the method that best works for you.

FashionNuban Beauty Wishes Eyeshadow Palette- Should I Buy It? by MimieJay(op): 11:47am On May 29, 2019
I got introduced to some products of Nuban Beauty and they’ve checked all my boxes. My current fave is the Wishes Eye Shadow Palette which has a go-to after my Intensify Eyeshadow palette from Nuban Beauty as well.

It wouldn’t be fair to be enjoying this good stuff alone, so I thought to share some of my views concerning this.

I came across this picture on Instagram where a makeup artist I follow had done a face beat for a lady. To be honest, what caught my attention was the eye shadow effect on the muse.

Good thing, she mentioned the name of the palette and I found it in one click! ‘Nuban Beauty Wishes 18 color Eyeshadow Palette’. I have previously done a review on the Intensified Eyeshadow Palette (which is great by the way). This palette just seemed to be all I was looking for, for a while now. The colours are just perfect for any look you wish to create; be it a simple everyday makeup look or something loud and fun.

Now the latest addition to my Nuban Beauty Collection, I now have the ‘wishes’ palette (my sister took my obsession palette by the way) and it’s about to be my new obsession. Without further delay, I’ll now go into talking about how I feel about this product.

Nuban beauty really outdid themselves with this one. First time I saw a makeup artist friend use their ‘Obsession palette, I thought it was the bomb, but you see this wishes palette is even more bomb.
The shimmery eyeshadows are really pigmented, so creamy and they have this velvety texture that just feels so good. The matte colours are really smooth and pigmented as well. They have zero to minimal fall outs when applied on the eyes. I love the colours in this palette so much it’s difficult to choose a favourite.

This current palette is 9,000 (Nigerian naira) but trust me it’s worth every penny. You most definitely wouldn’t regret buying this palette. Some of the colours in it might just become part of your makeup hacks for an everyday look.

I hope I’ve been convincing enough to make you want to try out this palette, now you can head to their store to make a purchase.

Fashion10 Makeup Hacks Every Lady Must Know by MimieJay(op):
To be honest, you don't necessarily have to spend so many hours in front of the mirror to get your makeup done perfectly, Personally, I'm tired of seeing ladies get their makeup all wrong when there are very easy tips and tricks you can use to save time and get a good result.
As a result of this, I took it upon myself to do research on 10 makeup hacks that will make your makeup faster and better. I have tried all of them, so I can say with confidence they work.

The first and most important one is to have a fresh base.
Do your makeup on a clean and moisturized base. it is important because it serves as the foundation on which other makeup products will be built. Once your foundation is good, the rest is easy peasy. Do not forget, wash your face before starting your makeup and also apply a good moisturizer and a primer.

FashionRead This Before Buying Zaron Cosmetics Products by MimieJay(op): 12:52pm On May 19, 2019
When I first started makeup, I loved Zaron but I didn’t have any of their products because I thought it was a high-end Nigerian brand meant for the top guns and being a makeup artist/lover on a strict budget, I never considered it. Later on, God decided to give me a taste of this sweet brand. I saw a Zaron contest on Instagram and decided to participate. That was how I magically won my first set of Zaron products.

Since then, I’ve been stuck up on them and I’ve had to purchase more products not just because we #buyNaijatogrowtheNaira, but because I've hardly come across another brand that beats Zaron.

It was then I realized how budget-friendly their products are. Honestly, I was shocked ‘cos such great product at that amount was really amazing and that’s one of my favourite things about the brand. It is safe to say the quality of these products beats the money value hands down. Therefore, I'll be doing a quick review of some of the Zaron products I’ve used so far.
