Morning,
please when reapplying for a spousal visa after an initial refusal.
do I tick yes for the question below
'
"Have you made an application to the Home Office to remain in the UK in the last 10 years?"

Also please when reapplying, apart from updating bank statements and payslips. can i just resubmit the same documents? such as letter from landlords and employer even though they are dated August?

Thank you

Mamalicious:
Aww sorry about this. In my own opinion since that was the only reason for rejection, he shld quickly book a date for the IELTS LIFE SKILLS A1 TEST, take it (very easy test. Result comes out exactly one week from test date. Its either pass or fail no grades whatsover) and reapply again. U wuld nt need to pay IHS fee again just visa fee.

Thank you for your response. how do we go about not paying the IHS fee again?
Should we wait for a refund or can we use the reference number for the previous payment?
Thanks

@mimimonroe I submitted my application in September and i sat for IELTS general training too. I'm so sorry for the refusal but now I'm scared of my outcome.
Pls is there anyone in the house who has similar problem?

If you can run and write the A1 life skills test, you should do that and send it to them explaining. You may still have time. Don't leave it to chance. Even though I feel the case worker was very petty and mean in my case but at least you can do something about it.

Hello Everyone,
My husband's application got refused due to English test. I can't believe it.
He wrote the test at the approved center in Ikeja and scored an overall of 8.0 but they said it is a general training training certificate.

Please what are my options? reapplying?
How can I ensure he takes the right one this time?

Thank you

Good day all,
Please I need advice.
I submitted the supporting documents from my husband's spousal application last week
I have been living with my mother for over 10 years and have used my mum's address to invite my husband and he was issued visiting visa three times.
I decided to get council apartment that we can move into when he comes over
The issue now is that some of my documents have the old address (mum's) while some have my current address.
Would that be grounds for refusal?
Thank you

Thank You so much for your response.
How do I go about doing the priority application?
I assume it will cost more? x

tunderule2016:

There is no same day application in Nigeria...but there is priority which means it will be about 2 weeks or less.
As for your other question, As the child is already in UK, it doesn't change the financial requirement regardless of nationality. No, still £18,600, as the child doesn't need a visa..... Hope that helps!!!

Hello Every one,
I hope I can get some help here.
I've married for less than a year and I am due for my ILR in October, as soon as I get it I want to file for my husband to join me.
My concerns:
1, Do they offer premium (same day application) services in Nigeria?
2, I am preggers and would have my baby before then. Do I have to show earning of £18,600 or £22,400 even though my baby would be in the UK?

Thank you
