I’ve been wanting to write for a long while, I just don’t know what exactly to pen down. I have a couple of things going through my mind but I don’t even know where to start.

BROKEN

"Don’t try to fix me,
I’m not broken."
Those are your words
But it ain’t true.
I see brokenness in you,
In your every move.
Give me the chance,
Let me fix you.
Let me re-engineer you.
Let me pull you down,
Brokenness and all,
And build you from scratch.
Give me the chance,
Let me remould you,
Back into the what you used to be,
with some improvements.
Help me,
To mould you into a loving being.
Help me,
To fix the brokenness within.

Akpos Birthday Moist Chocolate Cake recipe

2 cups all-purpose flour
1½ cup sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 evaporated milk
½ cup vegetable
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup boiling water

Shift the dry ingredients together in a bowl
Mix gently with an egg whisk or spatula
Mix together the wet ingredients (except the boiling water)
Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix in.
Gently add the boiling water. Mix with a spatula till you get a uniform mixture.
Pour in a baking tin/pan
Bake for 25 - 30 mins in a preheated oven (180degree)
Remove from the oven when am inserted toothpick or knife comes out clean.
Allow to cool and frost as desired!

Note
The cake batter will be very thin after adding the boiling water. This is correct and results in the most delicious and moist chocolate cake I've ever tasted!

What's the difference between baking powder and baking soda?

Twists stretch the hair. Personally, I braid (cornrows) my hair in two after i wash and when i loosen, there's no form of shrinkage

Which one be native jollof rice?

You just reminded me of one kin jollof I used to make while in school years ago. I specialised in it, and always had friends come over.
We called it palm oil rice. I used palm oil instead of vegetable oil to fry the tomato/pepper, and then also added fresh Titus fish inside when when I poured the rice in the sauce.
Concoction don set be that. But it used to be tasty

I never cooked it again though, ever since I graduated years ago

I should try it again. Memories....

Thinking about it, concoction rice seems better.
