''daddy see bat see bat !!!''.

Guess what he did. He simply smiled and gently closed his wardrope. I have never been this confused. I saw a bat hanging upside down in his wardrop and all he did was smile and gently closed the door. I don't know what to make of it. I have already concluded, there is no way on earth this is from God. Up until this time i have never seen a bat up close in real time. The closest ive been was watch them on television. Contemplate how scared and confused i am now. I picked up an excuse and ran out of the house to go stay with my relative..its been a week since i left and im still too scared to go back.

What do you folks make of this? How can a man who prays and fast and attends bible school have a BAT in his wardrope. WTF !!

Lol... Well, what I have learnt about people of the world is hypocrisy or rather deception. They rarely show you the path that is blessing them or what they indulge in and enjoying from, but they know how to clamor on something watery so that your eyes won't find what they are doing in the original.

There is a thread on this nairaland where a guy said he has a very prayerful father (maybe MFM or so, can't remember the church). So he went to check something in his Dad's wardrobe and there he found a bat hanged down in there.

Questioning his father, his father only smiled, laughed and told him not to worry himself, no tangible explanation. The guy said since then, he hated him coz his Dad was someone who hammered on prayers, holiness heaven, hell bla bla.

Delta Airlines hits out at CrowdStrike, alleging $500m loss

Delta Airlines said the network failure affected 1.3 million of its customers

Delta Airlines has expressed frustration with CrowdStrike in a new letter on Thursday, as the two companies continue to trade jabs after last month's global network failure.

The US-based carrier accused the cybersecurity company of "negligence", saying it was forced to cancel thousands of flights because and had lost at least $500m (£392m) as a result.

CrowdStrike had denied it was solely responsible for Delta's flight disruptions, which it said continued after other carriers came back online.

Delta has since been hit by a class-action lawsuit filed on behalf of affected passengers.

The global glitch originated from CrowdStrike on 19 July, after it had sent out a corrupted software update to customers.

Microsoft estimated it disabled 8.5 million Windows devices around the world.

Delta Airlines’ services were affected for days after, even as other airlines appeared to have recovered. It cancelled around 7,000 flights over five days until 24 July, and is now being investigated by the US Department of Transportation over the disruptions.

The airline has since blamed CrowdStrike and Microsoft for the disruptions, and has threatened legal action. Both firms have rejected the claim that they were responsible.

Delta's CEO Ed Bastian wrote in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday that what happened was "unacceptable".

"Our customers and employees deserve better," Mr Bastian wrote, adding that the technology meltdown affected 1.3 million of Delta's customers.

CrowdStrike said on Sunday that it would defend itself "aggressively" should Delta take legal action against it.

Microsoft also said it would fight back, and added that its preliminary review shows Delta, unlike its competitors, was operating with an outdated IT infrastructure.

In response, David Boies, a lawyer for Delta, wrote in a letter to CrowdStrike on Thursday that "there is no basis - none - to suggest that Delta was in any way responsible for the faulty software that crashed systems around the world".

He added that Delta Airlines had invested billions of dollars in its technology, and said it struggled to restore operations because of its reliance on Microsoft and CrowdStrike.

CrowdStrike accused Delta of pushing "a misleading narrative".

A lawsuit has also been filed against Delta on behalf of passengers whose flights were cancelled.

The legal action stated that "no other US airline had cancelled one-tenth as many flights".

It also claimed that Delta failed to properly compensate passengers, and that it had asked themto sign waivers releasing Delta of all legal claims.

Many airlines rely on Microsoft's Office365 for scheduling. The CrowdStrike failure crashed those systems, meaning firms had to use manual scheduling.

CrowdStrike has since been sued by its shareholders, who accused the company of making "false and misleading" statements about its software testing. CrowdStrike has denied the allegations.

Have you ever asked yourself how Rome, Ceaser and the Roman solders got into the new testment.

The Old Testament always gives full details of events because they were events recorded by the Jews themselves, like how they got to Egypt and how the True God of the Original Torah got them out. They are the original Windows OS sytems.
Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows XP.

It will be too much trouble for them to upgrade to a newer Windows OS which will require writing their complex business critical applications from scratch.

Most require A-level Mathematics and Computer Science which is not even available in our local syllabus. I will come back to you with one non-Nigerian University that requires physics. And what did our Universities do to computer science? Flutterwave and Paystack are products of local Universities. Or you think a Computer Science University degree prepares you for work anywhere?

Wrong! Understanding of Software Development at uni only requires a good O/Level maths. What is required is how to think logically to be able to turn user requirements into working code. Computer Science is not Computer Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering these are the type of couses that should require advance maths.

Show the advance maths a computer scientist uses at work day to day for coding? Companies that needs advance mathematics will outsource their requirements to universitise and their maths professors and not to a Software developer. The role of a Software develper in this will just be to develope the software from the specification they are given.

Any Software Engineering degree without 'Software Engineering Maths or Formal Methods in Software engineering' as a core module is not Software Engineering. Software Engineering is not Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering so O/L Maths is enough to grasp Software Engineering Maths for anyone that would like to study Software Engineering.

That's not Software Development but A/Level maths. Software Development is when you take your maths problem and make it available through a secure API for display on users web browsers with authentication and authorisation and also save and retrieve the data securely from a database or datastore with optimisation.

Southwest Airlines, the fourth largest airline in the US, is seemingly unaffected by the problematic CrowdStrike update that caused millions of computers to BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) because it used Windows 3.1. The CrowdStrike issue disrupted operations globally after a faulty update caused newer computers to freeze and stop working, with many prominent institutions, including airports and almost all US airlines, including United, Delta, and American Airlines, needing to stop flights.

Windows 3.1, launched in 1992, is likely not getting any updates. So, when CrowdStrike pushed the faulty update to all its customers, Southwest wasn’t affected (because it didn’t receive an update to begin with).
The airlines affected by the CrowdStrike update had to ground their fleets because many of their background systems refused to operate. These systems could include pilot and fleet scheduling, maintenance records, ticketing, etc. Thankfully, the lousy update did not affect aircraft systems, ensuring that everything airborne remained safe and were always in control of their pilots.

Southwest was often criticized for its outdated systems, but an old but proven operating system saved it (and its customers) from the stress that most other airlines were experiencing. Nevertheless, Southwest passengers weren’t 100% unaffected by the CrowdStrike crash, as many airports also encountered system issues.

Aside from Windows 3.1, Southwest also uses Windows 95 for its staff scheduling system. It is a newer operating system — about three years younger than Windows 3.1 — but it’s ancient compared to today’s tech. Many of the airline’s staff have been complaining about it already.

However, the CrowdStrike global outage might discourage Southwest from upgrading its systems. These systems do not receive upgrades, so the company is sure it won’t ever receive one and cause an unexpected crash that could disrupt operations. After all, as the saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

But as computers age and need replacing, the airline might need to upgrade its systems soon. One X user suggested that the company switch to Windows XP—it’s also no longer updated, and it can run Windows 3.1 applications via compatibility mode.

Whatever the case, Southwest’s use of outdated technology saved it when most of the world, which relied on newer systems, suffered a major IT crash. This is also precisely why military aircraft, like the Air Force One, still use needles, dials, and gauges—you cannot beat the reliability of older systems that have already been put through the wringer.

For native you'll need to master iOS and Android. But with Flutter for both iOS and Android expect occasional hiccups in the user experience.
