Lovelink1991: Leaving her children for a wicked mother-in-law? This is the reason she is asking for help in her next line of action.
What made you believe that I am a man. Do you want me to give you all my social media platforms for verification? Leaving the family does not mean leaving her children for the mother-in-law. She goes with her children as the late husband's family have no legal right to have custody of the children. |

lezz: As a black man from Africa, if you would readily travel out to the West or Middle East, it has to be an equal combination of desperation and servitude It is not for everyone, I am now based in England where I know my skillsets would have better returns and it has, working for a London borough (local government). Pay is good, condition of service is cool and I am motivated to give my best. Can't say same, if I am local government worker in Nigeria and above all, the quality of life, can't be compared. |

Willy2025: They are not serious. Nigerian doctors should shun and avoid the US like a plague as long as Donald Trump is still the president. They are still going to have problems in the other sectors of the economy as an average American doesn't really go to school. You go school pass the "average American"?

Love800: I would like to know how they earn their income. Is it like the way rev fathers earn(church offerings and other businesses they built)? The below captures it better. "Reverend sisters and nuns often receive stipends or salaries if they work in secular or church-affiliated roles (such as teaching, nursing, or administration), but these funds typically go directly to their religious congregation. Due to a vow of poverty, they receive a small allowance for personal necessities rather than retaining personal wealth, with the congregation covering all living expenses, housing, and healthcare". |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is Actually The Work Of Reverend Sisters? by Mindlog: 10:58am On Apr 12 |
tctrills: So it should be called something else not vows of poverty. No need to confuse the public. No one is confusing any public. In the Catholic Church, for those in the Religious Orders, they take eligious vows in the form of the three evangelical vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience. |
