Alphaman007:It is even way more than £50. Getting the GMBPsS, gets you the waiver not to do Msc. Psychology (conversion). Apply for the Msc. program you are interested in, if they don't request for the GMBPsS then go on. By the way in the UK, after B.A/BSc. in Psychology + work experience, you don't need a Masters to be eligible for a Doctorate program in Psychology. |

Alphaman007:First apply and get the BPS Graduate Membership, as that gives UK Universities the assurance that your undergraduate degree meets the UK standard, else you will be needed to waste money doing a Msc Psychology. |

Alphaman007:That is a lie. Msc Psychology (conversion) is for those who are switching from a different field, that is for those who didn't study Psychology at undergraduate level and once one graduate well from an accredited Msc. Psychology program in the UK, he/she will be granted GMBPsS (Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society), eligible to apply for Assistant Psychologist roles in the UK with NHS, schools, prisons, mental health facilities etc. |
