Really sad but the mother was careless.

I work in children social care with a London borough. She is an overstayer and that makes her continued stay in the UK, illegal and boroughs are already overwhelmed with requests for foster care from parents who are British. The cost for a week foster care for a toddler could be a minimum of about £600 (N1.3m per week) and local authorities are not eager to spend public funds on persons who is illegal in the Country.

Oh really
I have to look at pics closely

It's something I have never seen or heard of before

Big small world
My parents said back in the days, they used to go to Ogolonto in Ikorodu when it was still more like a village to go buy this African oil bean seeds in bulk from Yoruba village women who didn't know much of its high value amongst the igbos, even the premium oha leaves though we had our own oha trees in our compound there in Lagos and most of the oha leaves in the market were coming from the East. cheesy cheesy cheesy

This is iru now...

It's called locust beans sir and not fermented african oil beans whatever

🙄
That is not locust beans, what igbos make from locust beans is called okpei (iru), I think Ugba is called apara amongst the Yorubas.

Ugba/Ukpaka is fermented African oil beans, cooked for hours before shredding it, washed and cover for 4-5 days to ferment.

You have never donated mere pencils to children in your village primary school, who need to score only 2 marks in the national common entrance examination to get admitted into a Federal Government College in Nigeria, you are here discussing laptop donation that is way above your grade!

Family › Re: Teenager Sues UK Parents For ‘deportation’ To Africa by Mindlog: 2:11pm On Dec 01, 2024
GboyegaD:
That's the question they should answer. Funny though, Nigerian parents have always outsourced parenting to schools from time immemorial, at least as witnessed in my own generation.

I'm not against sending a child to school in Nigeria but be sure the child is comfortable with the idea. The child needs not be fully convinced and also let the child know that you will bring him/ her back at the end of school year if the school isn't so comfortable.
Sadly, when the boy returns to UK, he will likely be placed in foster care as there is already bad blood with his parents.

GboyegaD:
Aren't there criminals in Nigerian schools too? Haven't we read about cultism and gangster in our secondary schools? Besides, aren't there great boarding schools in the UK too? Typical of a Nigerian parent who tries to outsource their parental responsibilities.
Outsourcing parental responsibilities while they remain in London.....why didn't they relocate with him to Africa, if they so love their son.

parents no even do am finish When them for tear away his passport. E clear say the boy don overdo pass himself for obodoybi
Tearing his British passport changes nothing as long as he has access to Internet, he can easily contact his school in London, who would in turn contact the borough's children and young people's service......that boy would finally end up back in the UK, unless both parents rush and permanently leave the UK.
