There are lots of single ladies here in the UK, who come from places he will not need to pay bride price nor stress himself bringing a woman over to the UK from another.....he should look in that direction. |
Benefits of "reforms". |
eminent91:From your earlier post, the bride price has been returned and marriage ended. From their ages as you stated, you should have primary custody of the children while you and their father, coparent At this stage, with the support of your family get FIDA (International Federation of Women Lawyers) involved, your ex-husband will be made to bring the kids from wherever his relatives have them. Which city/town were you all staying before relocating to the village, so I can signpost you to the FIDA office you should get in touch with....you will eventually have the kids with you and the court will work out the provisions for the kids and time they will spend with each parent. Don't be scared, the children will be brought back from those relatives because they have no parental rights over those children before the law, make sure you present proofs of abuse during the marriage......go legal, don't settle for any alternative. |
Hope she is found alive. |
Who is the children presently with and what are their ages? |
ursullalinda:Setting up camera to record yourself cry and share on social media, is you not showing empathy to yourself. |
The Nigerian government has to step up for him. |
frog12:Google is not your enemy, use it. ![]() |
His watch has ended. |
Gboom:Not yet a Dr, still running my Professional Doctorate program by the side. ![]() I know professionals especially in the healthcare sector have shorter transition time to achieve stability, reason I encourage many I come across to invest in their personal development to change pathway, which is way easier here in the UK than back home in Nigeria. |
Napata77:Calm down and take your mood stabilizing medication, then sleep off your mood. |
Choosing to be child-free is an option. |
The model is not working but no will to take concrete steps in changing it. |
Attention-seeking, was she forced to take up the job? She should sit down at home, no be by force to do warehouse job as it is a deal-breaker for her. Such jobs should be seen as transition jobs as you find your feet in the UK. Many went through that same route in their early days. Recording yourself cry and broadcast on social media, is for what purpose? I picked parcels at DHL, also packed bananas and pineapples at Fyffes Bananas before moving to psychology roles during my student days. I was humbled when I got paired on shifts with a female Indian Paediatrician who also came to the UK through the study route. As we both packed pineapples and bananas, she shared how she worked in a big Paediatric facility back in India but decided making the move to the UK with her husband and kids was the best decision. Today, she works at Great Ormond Street Hospital London, that is one of the top five children’s hospitals in the world while I now work for a London borough as a Clinical Practitioner for the Children social care. |
Wike is in PDP but controlling APC in Rivers....man of two worlds. ![]() |
Tinubu's reforms are "working". |
Ikpunekenwa:Advocate but across board. |
This is not their first time. |
Dtruthspeaker:Both deranged fathers and mothers have over the centuries, intentionally killed their children, reason the word infanticide exists ......so, what is the breaking news here? ![]() |
If she is not struggling with Dyscalculia, extra maths classes for her would really help her to improve but do not put pressure on her, keep praising her for her outstanding performance in English language, the Arts and humanities may be her pathway....no pressure. |
Commendable. |
Big ups, Sister! |
CodeTemplarr:Rationalization is a defense mechanism used to deny reality. They are not bandits, they are your sales boys showing you the end of the day sales proceeds. 😂😂😂 |
purity2all:I don't know much about the IT sector recruitment, so can not give an honest opinion about Data Science though had a Zambian neighbour who did his Msc in Data Science and got sponsored by one of the NHS Trusts, I don't have any idea what his undergraduate degree was nor his IT work experience that got him the job and skilled worker visa. |
Wishing him more beautiful years ahead. |
A criminal was employed. |
Happychild101:It is his call but it doesn't hurt to ask the school if he can switch courses, that is if they offer Msc Psychology (conversion). |
Happychild101:Before the issuance of CAS! |
Olodoscholar:Getting job to pay up balance will be very, very difficult, I know some students who came in August and September, who are yet to get jobs because recruiters want full-time workers. |
Happychild101:Realistically, the chances of getting skilled worker visa with that course is very, very low as I know many who studied that course and are now doing care jobs, warehouse jobs etc with their post study work visa. I will advise your brother, to switch to Msc Psychology (conversion) if he has the capacity to, as the tuition fees would also be within the same range. If he graduates well, he will be eligible for Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society and can apply for roles within the mental health field, could apply for roles within the prisons, children and adult social care services in the public sector after gaining some experience from the private sector. I presently work for a London borough (local government), within their children services because of my background in Psychology both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, with relevant work experience. They easily switched my skilled worker visa from my previous employer. Let him consider it. |
