There is a problem and disconnect between the leaders and the led. A news outlet brought a news that the man had been invited and was to come with his international passport while the government on the other hands that invited him says, he was invited truly but no iota of truth for him to bring his international passport along.
Funnily, I read through most of the comments and some people still insinuating that he was asked to bring his international passport. Well, to me, many commenters didn't even read the news but based their judgement on the caption or old story on their heads.
That aside, the man said some grevious thing against the government. No serious government will fold its hands and not invite such figure to come and clear the air for clarify. You cannot say those that are sponsoring Boko Haram and bandit are part of the government and you expect the government to pat you on your back and say you're great. Those words are serious issues that he needs to shed more light on. He should have even mention those names. If he has done that, he would have given direction because nowadays talk is cheap, everyone want to talk and malign the system but never want to take responsibility of what they say.
Yes, there is freedom of speech constitutionally but freedom after speech is what you must bear. Meaning you must be able to stand to defend whatever you say. The Bible even told us everyone shall be snare to their words.
