LegendHero: All of them contesting are basically saying Emilokan, they are just too timid to admit it. —Atiku it’s my turn is exactly why he won’t pass the baton to a Southerner knowing fully well we just finished 8 years of a Northerner.
—Obi don even turn to Mr promiser that his desperation made him say he will only do one term and pick up gun to fight at Sambisa.
Amaechi usually say he is hungry yet he could afford over 60million in form fees. He would have loved to say Emilokan too, but he does not have the range or power That's what APC slaves were told to say, that they are all the same. Lump them all in one bag, but Obi the bright star refused to go under. People can see he's different and they are not letting go. |

adisa786: A government that inherited a fiscal position where 97 cents of every naira collected went to debt servicing, and reduced that to 68 cents in eighteen months, has not failed fiscally. A government that grew foreign reserves from $33 billion to $50 billion — a seven-year high — has not failed on external stability. A government that oversaw eleven consecutive months of disinflation from a 28-year peak has not failed on monetary direction. A government under which Nigeria became West Africa's largest exporter of refined petroleum products after decades as its largest importer has not failed structurally. A government that received sovereign credit upgrades from both Fitch and S&P has not failed to restore international credibility.
These outcomes are primary-source verified. They are not government talking points. The World Bank, the IMF, and independent credit rating agencies — none of whom have any political interest in protecting Tinubu — all confirm this directional progress. Calling a government that produced these outcomes a failure requires either ignoring this evidence entirely or deciding that macroeconomic metrics are irrelevant to governance assessment. Neither position is analytically defensible. Stop the whitewashing and fancy tales already. Evidence negates your claims. |

soccerlite: You can twist and whine as you want oga Food is ready. Please see below, don't get it twisted. ElevationD: Nothing more than the pure and unadulterated truth. It is as clear as daylight that the hinderance is Atiku. I maintained that since 2023 when Atiku claimed that zoning was improper. Atiku had no business then and still has no business now. Atiku agrees with zoning when it favours him. If not for zoning, he would not be the VP in 1999. The only reason that he colluded to chase GEJ away in 2016 was zoning. When he decamped to PDP and contested in 2019, it was because of zoning. Now to him, zoning is improper.
The greatest opportunity for him was as the VP to OBJ. Out of his carelessness, greed and wrong reading of the political barometer, he lost it completely. If only he did not try to play smart against OBJ. However, aside from his ways, it is crystal clear that he is not destined to be the President of the country, no matter the effort.
The same uncompromising stance that he put up in appointing Okowa, against popular opinion and proper political calculations in 2023, made him choose to choose the same error path this year with ADC. He has no business being on the ballot in 2027 as a northerner, aside from trying to divide the votes to favour BAT.
Atiku’s supporters now point accusing fingers at Peter Obi, as if he is the government in power. As it stands, ADC as a so called opposition party , now views NDC - another opposition party - as the government in power and in effect acts as the opposition to NDC, another opposition party. It is very obvious that the plan in ADC was to use Peter Obi, pin him down, with Atiku faking to be the candidate to oppose BAT, effectively concluding the agenda of allowing BAT have his way in 2027.
Rather than talk about ADC and its programs, the party officials focus on Obi who left the party, attacking him every moment. Now it is Obi this, Obi that every minute.
When Bolaji Abdullahi was asked about the manifesto of ADC, he could not give an answer. As of today, he has not shown any. If ADC is truly a serious opposition party, why not focus on projecting the image of the party and working for victory in 2027?
It is not to be doubted that Obi’s departure created chaos and confusion within ADC. The man that they tried to use moved faster than them and abandoned them.
Obi contested in 2023 on the platform of a relatively unknown Labour Party platform. Atiku only contests on established platforms. Atiku should test his so called popularity on an unestablished platform and let’s see. If Obi contested on the platform of PDP in 2023, it would be game over for BAT at 12 noon that day. |

semid4lyfe: The Moniepoint CEO misyarned.
The 500 unfilled job vacancies in his company is not a referendum on the character, skillset, talent or employability of Nigerian youths. Neither is it due to yahoo culture, social media distraction, laziness or quest for fast money.
Banks, Oil majors, Auditing companies, Tax corporations, FMCGs Industry, Elite Government agencies etc recruit meritoriously and fill their vacancies from these same pool of Nigerian youths.
So why is Moniepoint unable to do so? Answer - Poor remuneration.
Thankfully, he recognizes he is competing globally, so he should pay global salaries if he wants the best. Simple.
Anyways, I no blame am. I blame the CBN for its failure to properly regulate Nigerian banks to ensure functional ATM machines which is the gap filled by moniepoint .
The CEOs statement is also insensitive being that the vast majority of their agents/customers sit under umbrellas by the road side or in makeshift kiosks processing transactions Are those ones lazy too?
