Politics / Re: PDP Insists That Asue Ighodalo Won Edo Gubernatorial Election by miniziter(m): 6:52am
On a normal day, Obaseki led PDP doesn't really deserve the vote unless for the fact people are tired of APC govt. A man that Edo people stands with against Oshiomole but ended up disappointing the them and even fought the traditional institution because of artifacts.

It is unfortunate that the worst of us is who is leading us.

Sometimes last year,I met somebody who told me that I have egbe and I'm an omo omi.He said that I had to appease my egbe so as to gain favour from them.He told me that I'm the Olori(Queen)in my group.Initially,I was scared and didn't believe him until he started telling me random things about myself. To cut the story short,I did what the egbe expected but I've not really seen any changes.Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong?

If you're traveling Benin/Lagos expressway, prepare for the road shut down that may happen very soon as we prepare to express our grievances over the incessant kidnapping that's going on in the area.

With this point of mine, I hope I've been able to convince you that APC has done well.

Ok.

Does CAC have the power to make such pronouncement? How would CAC find out those who have complied with the requirement recently demanded by government? I thought the job of CAC is to register business names. Is it not the job of the law enforcement agents to arrest and prosecute those who have failed to comply? Will CAC hit the streets to arrest and prosecute those who failed to register?

And by the way, what would happen to operators in the remote communities, or those who are in areas that are difficult to access by roads?

Is registration free of charge for them? Or has CAC given incentives like reduction of the registration fee for POS operators who have so far not complied?

How do this people get thier terminals repaired or replaced of not to go to the city or how do they get their bank issues resolved?

Phones / Re: Ever Tracked A Stolen Phone Before? Share Your Experience by miniziter(m): 2:08pm On May 26
Enskynelson:
In 2016, my counsin's wife lost her phone when she came home for a wedding. They didn't have much time so they went back to base in Abuja leaving me to follow up with the tracker (not police) who was at Abuja. The tracker communicated with me and told me what to do. When he successfully tracked the phone, he told me to go to the nearest police station and make a report which I did. I was assigned an officer and the number of the person with the phone. The tracker kept calling a guy whom the guy with the stolen phone used the stolen phone to call. He called the guy to meet him for business at a certain location where I and the police officer were waiting. Lo, the guy came. We explained to him and he took us to the guy who was with the stolen phone and surprisingly, the guy was with the Camon phone.
Police arrested the guy ... The guy said he bought the phone for about 10k from a man. We picked the man too.
They were made to pay for all the expenses of the tracking and I am sure police milked them too before letting them go.

My advice is that you guys should thread carefully to be sure the police are not trying to make money from you. But if the thief is caught, he should be made to pay for all the expenses as well as the gadgets stolen from your compound.

Please can we get that your tracker link except for security purpose Sha.
Business / Re: Opay, Moniepoint, Others To Register New Customers From July by miniziter(m): 7:41pm On May 21
LadyExcellency:

The reason for stopping the onboarding of new customers was genuine. Why should these fintechs be hawking debit cards like gala and carbonated drinks? They skip KYC and allow fraudsters to use their platforms for fraud and illicit businesses.

Btw, they should include betting platforms as the crooks and fraudsters use them for transferring stolen money to their accounts.

Ask yourself if they open account with or without bvn. Don't zenith and Co send their marketers to the street?

The good thing with starlink is that it’s actually worth the hype. Fast internet without unnecessary break in transmission. If you have the funds then go for it, It’s worth buying.

Does it work in a local environment?
