Our office assistant had a son 5yrs ago and had to leave him with her aunt in makurdi to come and hustle in Lagos. She says she couldn't get the circumcision done when he was little (dunno d reason), but she wants to get it done now.

Pls who can advice?

Never too late. I know a boy that was circumcised at the age of 20

when I had such, my baby was using Johnson baby products and when I stopped, so did the rashes. You can check to rule this out.

My birth story continuation!
After the VE and I was already 3cm, this was around 1pm, doctor asked if have packed my bag and I said yes he now inserted one tablet in me and I was taken to the ward upstairs. After an hour, I started having contractions but I was able to endure it, I was walking around inside the ward and praying instead of shouting, all the nurses at first thought I was not contracting but when they placed there hands on my tummy and feel the hardness they started hailing me 'you're strong' I was just walking around without saying a word, I was even thinking in my mind if this is what labour is about but by the time the thing hit me I will just go down on my knees hold my husband tight cuz he was with me all through.
The doctor came back 6pm for another VE gosh then I realized that the first VE was a child's play, I was held down by two nurses and I was screaming at the top of my voice, after the VE I was taken to the ward downstairs cuz I was already 6cm and then I couldn't hold the pain again, I was shouting Jesus as if he was the one that impregnated me, I will raise my bombom up, one minute I will be feeling heat, the next minutes it's cold, it got to a point my hubby help me to close the window and I asked why? He said cuz he saw a man at the back going to on the generator, see me o, what is my problem with that? I started boiling, I said please go out, what are you even doing here? Your staying here is useless? I will call the nurse to come and get you out of here, the man respected himself by just looking at me without saying a word.
The doctor came back 9pm to check again and he said this one that you are just shouting your service is still very far and you promise to cooperate with me, he asked if I was having back pain I said yes, he ordered a nurse to come help me rub it see me shouting leave me alone I don't need your help, he said OK, he said sleep on your left side it was as if a house was placed on my head I started shouting left? Left? No no no.
After the doctor left I made up my mind not to shout again, I planned to compose, not to misbehave, I stood up from the bed, I started climbing the stairs, taking a walk round the hospital by the time I checked I realized have been walking round for 20mins, I went back to the ward, layed on bed, I had the huge to vomit, I vomited, I was cleaned up, as I was about to sit down I felt something drip down checked it it was blood, I was cleaned again and I layed back on the bed, the contractions was getting stronger but I refused to shout, I was just praying and asking for strength.
The doctor came back 11pm, check again and he shouted 'take her to the labor room, immediately I was taken to the labor room, everything was set and the doctor said now when you have that strong contraction you push with all the strength, I pushed first time, second time, third time, the doctor cut me and told me to push again, I pushed fourth and fifth time and my baby girl was brought out without crying see me shaking on the delivery table that I didn't even remember I was cut, I wanted to jump up if not for the nurses, she was placed on oxygen and it took more than 20mins before she finally cried, the doctor explained that the baby was putting cord around the neck and it didn't showed on scan so as I was pushing the cord was dragging her back and choking the baby, that was why he gave me the cut in other to give enough space for the baby and asides that the baby was getting weak, God saved my baby girl, I was stitched. I thank God it ended in praise cuz if not for him alone I don't know where I will be...
Thanks to everyone on the thread who always derive pleasure in helping others out one way or the other God bless you all and my teamies too thank you very much for always being there, I wish the remaining January mamas and other waddling mamas easy delivery, baby/ies alive, mommy alive and daddy rejoicing.
