Who knows this 27yrs old young man? He went to steal diesel from a trapped vehicle last night and was caught by Rumuekini community vigilante youths. He lives with his sisters in the same comunity and does maison job as his proffesion but takes stealing for a hubby.

This young man was just freed from Sars custody last week after he was caught on the same similar act and was given a matchet cut on the nose as a mark and last warning by Sars to be killed if caught again, he has been begging not to be handed over to Sars, i am begging the vigilante youths not to hand him over to Sars instead we can hand him over to police.

Am i right or wrong to have pleaded on his behalf, though i thought He may be reported to Sars in his next attempt not on my case..

Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma popularly known as Ebube Muonso who oversees the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State has ordered the Federal government to promptly effect the release of the embattled Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra Mr. Nnamdi Kanu who has being incarcerated for more than 5 months on allegations of committing treason offence.

Kanu's trial once again would hopefully be coming up on the 7th of March, 2016 and this is obviously where the competence, fairness and independence of Nigerians judiciary would be put to taste.

A man opened fire inside a movie theater in a Lafayette, Louisiana, multiplex, Thursday night, killing two people and wounding seven others -- before taking his own life.

"There's nothing to believe that there was any kind of motive," said Col. Michael Edmonson of the Louisiana State Police.

"We still have a lot of moving parts and a lot of people to talk to. "

The shooter was a 58-year-old white man who was a theater patron, police said. Authorities have his name but are withholding it as the investigation continues.

The shooting took place at the Grand Theatre 16 in Lafayette, a city of about 120,000 people, 60 miles west of Baton Rouge.

About 100 people were inside the theater for a screening of the comedy, "Trainwreck," when the shooting happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. ET.

'Gunshots after gunshots'
Jalen Fernell said he was in a theater next door.

"I almost thought it was part of the movie at first," he said of the gunshots.

An alarm went off, followed by an overhead intercom message asking patrons to get out.

"Immediately we get terrified because they are telling us to head out to vehicles ... we don't know whether the shooter is in the parking lot. It was kinda like a war going on ... gunshots after gunshots."

While running to the parking lot, he said he saw victims with gunshot wounds in the parking lot.


'Awful night for the United States'
The shooting occurred days after the conviction of James Holmes in the Aurora, Colorado, theater shooting that left 12 people dead and 70 people wounded.

On July 19, 2012, Holmes bought a ticket to the screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" but walked out and left a door propped open. He returned shortly after midnight wearing a ballistic helmet, a gas mask, black gloves and protective gear for his legs, throat and groin, authorities said,

A tear gas canister exploded in the theater, then gunfire erupted from an AR-15 rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun and at least one .40 caliber handgun. The shooting stopped with Holmes' arrest outside the theater about seven minutes after the first 911 calls were made to police.

"Whenever we hear about these senseless acts of violence, it makes us both furious and sad at the same time," said Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, from the scene of the shooting.

"This is an awful night for Lafayette, this is an awful night for Louisiana, this is an awful night for the United States. But we will get through this

Hello friends, i dont know how it real happened. My phone is samsung galaxy S3 and i was home alone , all doors locked when i finished bathing my baby and was about to wear her pampers before i heard a knock on the door and while i was out to check who was that i left my baby on the bed while my phone was kept just beside her. On returning back i saw my daughter holding and playing with my phone which i quickly rushed to get it off her. I checked my phone to be sure it wasn't broken, lo and behold this selfie photo of my 2months old daughter and i cant remember taking this photo after her bath which has kept me amazed on how my 2months old baby operated my samsung galaxy s3 and took her selfie with it. I was driving from ph to onitsha and on my arrival to rivers/imo borther i noticed the borther is closed. Due to too many trapped vehicles that blocked the whole roads I parked my car and trecked closer the borther to witness the cause of the blockage. When i got closer, i noticed a large crowd and on the midst behold a bride kneeling crying with her white wedding gown, also standing beside was a reverend father and rev sister with the ashoebis begging the mobile police men who kept using their pleas for karikashure and a large crowd gathered round to get a glimpse of the drammer.omg the scene looked like a nolywood location and i realy felt sorry for the couple though the mobile police officers latter allowed them to cross after about 4hrs of plea but the whole invitees waiting at the reception must have gone after the long wait at the reception center. I took some pics of the drama so who do we blame on this, government or mopol or the couple?.

To confirm suspicions surrounding the mission of the Liberian health official who died in Lagos Nigeria late last month, a CCTV video in Liberia clearly showed the man in pain few hours before his departure at the airport.

Images from a Close Circuit Television (CCTV) monitored at the James Spriggs Payne’s Airport have shown how the late Patrick Sawyer was terribly ill before boarding the Nigeria bond flight.

The late Sawyer from the recording, it appears he knew, he had been infected by the deadly tropical disease. His behavior, among other passengers waiting at the boarding gate was strange.

His face bore a sad countenance like someone who was troubled, as he sat alone avoiding body contacts with everyone who came close by him.

His strange behavior and frequent movement up and down as he eagerly awaits his ASky flight had prompted the security camera operator to focus on him. In the video, Patrick could be seen avoiding physical contacts with airport employees and other passengers during the check in process.

After checking in, Patrick briefings left the terminal, but he would soon be shown sitting in an isolated area by himself at the boarding gate or waiting room. The video footage also shows the late Patrick lying flat on his stomach on the floor in the corridor of the airport a sign of someone in excruciating pain.

This writer, who also watched the video footage of Patrick at the Spriggs Payne Airport said the late Patrick was seen preventing people from touching him. The recording shows him snubbing an Immigration officer who was seen moving straight toward him in a friendly gesture for a handshake as he boarded the flight. The footage was shown after his death was announced upon arrival in Nigeria.

Patrick died Thursday night at the First Consultant Medical Centre, Obalende, in Lagos where he was hospitalized. Sawyer only arrived in Nigeria on Sunday, July 20 for a conference when he was tested and confirmed of having the Ebola virus.

But why did he do that to put a whole country in trouble. This is unfair.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. forces launched raids in Libya and Somalia on Saturday, two weeks after the deadly Islamist attack on a Nairobi shopping mall, capturing a top al Qaeda figure wanted for the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, U.S. officials said.
The Pentagon said senior al Qaeda figure Anas al Liby was seized in the raid in Libya, but a U.S. official said the raid on the Somali town of Barawe failed to capture or kill the intended target from the al Qaeda-linked al Shabaab movement.
Liby, believed to be 49, has been under U.S. indictment for his alleged role in the East Africa embassy bombings that killed 224 people.
The U.S. government has also been offering a $5 million reward for information leading to his capture, under the State Department's Rewards for Justice program.
"As the result of a U.S. counterterrorism operation, Abu Anas al Liby is currently lawfully detained by the U.S. military in a secure location outside of Libya," Pentagon spokesman George Little said without elaborating.
Liby, also known as Nazih al-Ragye, was arrested at dawn in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, as he was heading home after morning prayers, a neighbour and militia sources said.
"As I was opening my house door, I saw a group of cars coming quickly from the direction of the house where al-Ragye lives. I was shocked by this movement in the early morning," said one of his neighbours, who did not give his name, "They kidnapped him. We do not know who are they."
Two Islamist militia sources confirmed the incident.
CNN reported in September last year that Liby had been seen Tripoli. It quoted Western intelligence sources as saying there was concern that he may have been tasked with establishing an al Qaeda network in Libya.
That CNN report quoted counterterrorism analysts as saying that Liby may not have been apprehended then because of the delicate security situation in much of the country, where former jihadists hold sway. It quoted one intelligence source as saying that Liby appeared to have arrived in Libya in the spring of 2011, during the country's civil war.
The Pentagon confirmed U.S. military personnel had been involved in an operation against what it called "a known al Shabaab terrorist," in Somalia, but gave no more details.
One U.S. official, speaking to Reuters on condition of anonymity, said the al Shabaab leader targeted in the operation was neither captured nor killed.
U.S. officials did not identify the target. They said U.S. forces, trying to avoid civilian casualties, disengaged after inflicting some al Shabaab casualties. They said no U.S. personnel were wounded or killed in the operation, which one U.S. source said was carried out by a Navy SEAL team.
SOMALIA FIREFIGHT
A Somali intelligence official said the target of the raid at Barawe, about 110 miles (180 km) south of Mogadishu, was a Chechen commander, who had been wounded and his guard killed. Police said a total of seven people were killed.
The New York Times quoted a spokesman for al Shabaab as saying that one of its fighters had been killed in an exchange of gunfire but that the group had beaten back the assault.
It quoted an unnamed U.S. security official as saying that the Barawe raid was planned a week and a half ago in response to the al Shabaab assault on a Nairobi shopping mall last month in which at least 67 people died.
"It was prompted by the Westgate attack," the official said.
Residents said fighting erupted at about 3 a.m. (midnight GMT). "We were awoken by heavy gunfire last night, we thought an al Shabaab base at the beach was captured," Sumira Nur, a mother of four, told Reuters from Barawe on Saturday.
"We also heard sounds of shells, but we do not know where they landed."
The New York Times quoted witnesses as saying that the firefight lasted more than an hour, with helicopters called in for air support.
The paper quoted a senior Somali government official as saying that the government "was pre-informed about the attack."
Earlier, al Shabaab militants said British and Turkish special forces had raided Barawe, killing a rebel fighter, but that a British officer had also been killed and others wounded.
Britain's Defence Ministry said it was not aware of any such British involvement. A Turkish Foreign Ministry official also denied any Turkish part in such an action.
In 2009, helicopter-borne U.S. special forces killed senior al Qaeda militant Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan in a raid in southern Somalia. Nabhan was suspected of building the bomb that killed 15 people at an Israeli-owned hotel on the Kenyan coast in 2002.
The United States has used drones to kill fighters in Somalia in the past. In January 2012, members of the elite U.S. Navy SEALs rescued two aid workers after killing their nine kidnappers.
Shabaab leader Ahmed Godane, also known as Mukhtar Abu al-Zubayr, has described the Nairobi mall attack as retaliation for Kenya's incursion in October 2011 into southern Somalia to crush the insurgents. It has raised concern in the West over the operations of Shabaab in the region.

Exactly two years after losing her star son in a tragic road accident, Mrs Obiajulu is dead.

The aged mother of star singer Nwaozo Obiajulu aka MC Loph passed away few days ago at a private hospital in Enugu after battling an undisclosed illness.

Mrs Obiajulu lost her two children, MC Loph and his sister on the 14th of September 2011 in a tragic car crash on Benin Ore Expressway.

They were heading to a traditional wedding ceremony when the tragedy struck. The car they were in somersaulted severally before landing in a ditch.

After the death of her son, Mrs Obiajulu accused Emeka Morgan (his manager) of killing him.

Hear what she said in an interview months before her death;

“Emeka Morgan killed my only son and daughter, left me childless and handicapped. Since Obiajulu died, the only time I set my eyes on the so-called Morgan was in May 2012, when he came with Obi Madubogu, gave me a bag of rice, a gallon of groundnut oil and 60 thousand naira and asked me never to allow Nkiru (MC Loph’s wife) to have a share of the money. But I couldn’t, I gave the money over to Nkiru after he left and it was used to fix the Camry with which she does most of her run arounds in Lagos. Since then, he had neither called nor checked on me again”
