The senator who announced the new development via his twitter handle said the new Silverbird outlet has created at least 50 jobs for Nigerians and will still create more 50 jobs. The "twitter" senator making common sense again |
Youths, do not make the mistakes my generation made. Do not see yourselves through tribal and religious lens. My generation of Nigerians did that and look where it has led us. You must do better. It is foolish for any youth to fight another youth over APC or PDP. Let me ask you, what is the difference between the APC and the PDP? Half of the members of the APC are former PDP members and vice versa. Let me ask you youths a question: Do the APC and the PDP fight over you as you fight over them? How many ministers have they given you? How many ambassadors have they given you? How many heads of parastatals have they given you? That's right, the answer is ZERO! So resist the desire of vested interests to control you and use you to fight other youths on social media and in real life. What youths do not realize is that you are victims of divide and conquer. You make up 60% of the population yet account for 0% of the federal cabinet! Your price should be more than a plate of rice and a handshake. Work together not against each other! Come on Nigerian youths, be smart! If you think after you have been used to fight each other these vested interests will hand power to you, think again. Their kids who are abroad will do same to your kids! It is time to end the hate and come together for Nigeria's good. Long after we are gone, you will be around. So learn to get along. As I have said and I will keep saying, the youths are the leaders of today if only they will resist being used by vested interests. How old is Trudeau, the Canadian PM. He was 43 when he became PM. You can be much more than a thug or Twitter overlord. You can be like Trudeau's. My name is Ben Murray Bruce and I not only want to make commonsense, I also believe in the Nigerian youth. Do I blame it on China? I don't really know. But there has been an increased cases of hoverboard fire incident in the past few weeks. The hoverboards which became very popular last year was a major gift item during the yuletide period. However, with the increasing cases of hoverboard explosions, it may be a sudden end to the famed machine. Schools in the US have already started banning their students from returning to campus with the machine. The colleges point to dozens of reported hoverboard fires and say they worry the boards could become a safety hazard on campus. "I just don't want to have a situation where we have a fire because of one of these and we had prior knowledge that they were not safe," said Len Dolan, managing director of fire safety at Kean University, which instituted a ban. "I don't want to react to a problem. I want to be proactive and prevent a problem." Even railway agencies have announced that hoverboards will no longer be permitted on trains “due to concerns over potential fire hazards.” Few days ago, a hoverboard unboxing video went viral on a youtube vlog. The video captured the moment a brand new hoverboard caught fire on its first use. Is this the end of hoverboards? Watch video below. Then tell us what you think. Now, am not sure if it's the evil spirit that made the woman take the husband's money with his consent. That is, if the man is actually saying the truth cos there's always two sides to a story

An angry Kenyan man, Geoffrey Odhiambo, caused a stir when he stormed a church service demanding that the Sh200,000 (about N38,000) his wife gave as her tithe be refunded to him. claiming it was a loan he took from a bank for his business. Nairobi News reports that members of the Jesus Elevation Tabernacle Church in Kisumu were thrown into a shock as Odhiambo narrated that he had used his car as collateral for the loan that his wife used without his consent. Witnesses said the woman told the pastor that she gave the money as 'tithe for prayers as there were evil spirits and devils in her house'. A member of the church said Odhiambo complained it was not the first time the woman had taken his money to the church without asking him. It took male ushers more than 10 minutes to eject Odhiambo from the midday service moments before the police arrived after he reported the matter at Kisumu Central police station. What's your take on this? Did the church handle the matter correctly? Source: http://www.234ping.com/2015/11/shocker-kenya-man-storms-church-demands.html |

To me, it's surely a miracle cos assuming he was wrongly pronounced dead initially, 30 hrs in the mortuary is enough to make him give up the ghost... |
70-year-old Amos Otene reportedly resurrected after he was certified dead by medical practitioners in Makurdi, Benue State. According to a report, Doctors at a private hospital in the town had, on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, certified Otene dead at 4.30 a.m. and wheeled him into the mortuary where his was for 30 hours awaiting instructions from members of the family for embalming. According to reports, Otene had had a toothache and was rushed to the private clinic, on Tuesday, August 25. A day later, he was certified dead and the doctors whose names were not mentioned in the report wanted to embalm him but because there was no family member to give the go-ahead, they instructed that his body be wheeled to the morgue. 30 hours later, Eche Otene, the son of the ‘deceased’, who lives in Lafia, Nasarawa State, went to the morgue to identify his father's body, however when he got there, his father raised his hand to acknowledge the presence of his son and followed that gesture by sitting up on the mortuary trolley. The question everyone want answered is: Was the man sentenced to death by an inexperienced medical team or did he actually die but was brought back to life by God? People who believe in science think Pa Otene could not have died in the first place and the question of resurrection was out of the question. The only explanation, according to a Makurdi-based medical practitioner, Dr. Ameh Edace, is that the retiree could only have been “in a long coma”. The Medical Director of Rekiya Memorial Hospital, Kaduna, Dr. Bello Mohammed, said that “in the history of medicine, there has not been any case of anybody coming back to life after being certified dead.” He added: “If a person is pronounced clinically dead, he remains dead and there is no way he can come back to life, certainly not after 24 hours. On this case in question, the only medical explanation is that the patient was in a long coma.” To this school of thought therefore, if doctors had certified Pa Otene dead, then the competence of such doctors should be called to question. There are others who think it's a miracle by God who brought him back to life. Is this a case of a miracle or medical incompetence? http://www.234ping.com/2015/10/70-year-old-dies-and-resurrects-in.html |
Following the Super Falcons' poor showing in their match against the Australians in the ongoing women world cup, Nigerians have continued to criticize their performance. But this white man, Rob McLean(@P10Rob), took his "criticism"/ hatred to another level when he tweeted a very derogatory, if not disgusting message referring to our Super Falcons as "the filthiest things on a football field". Is this not a racist statement? Someone should call his obviously deluded senses to order!
