Independence - You must handle your responsibilities yourself; if you constantly allow someone else do so for you, you give that person license to control you. Trust (Esp. my mum) - If someone trusts you, never betray it because it will be hard to regain it, once lost. *She speaks empirically and preaches this message with all seriousness, that I can't even ignore it even though I have a different opinion on the 'trust' thing*. |

mazaje: Nigerians and their wahala. . .I have stated this time and time again. . .Violence is a part of our society. . .Its is part of our DNA. Until we eschew violence then women can keep crying day and night, but the problem will never be sloved. . .The same women that complain about domestic violence are the same women that beat up their house helps, their younger ones and also encourage their elder children to beat up their younger ones all the time when they offend them. . .In our schools we are thought that violence is the only way when a person commits an offence, when a junoir student offends a senoir student the only answwr is violence, a students offends a teacher same thing, violence, when a younger brother/sister offends an elder brother/sister the answer is violence many parents encourage their elder siblings to discipline the younger ones with acts of violenve. . .Child offends parents, violence. . .Violence permeates our society. . .We encourage it every where. How do we expect it not to manifest in our homes. . .The society has thought us right from school and from our homes that if any subordinate offends you beat him/her up, we carry the same violence to our homes and offices. . .why won't there be excessive violence when the society teaches us that it is the only way to solve our problems when our subordinates offend us?. . . .The same women that grew up beating their house helps, younger brothers, younger sisters and younger cousins will come on nairaland and be forming "my husband beat me up". . .When you your self have been contributing to the circle of violence that is rife in our society all your lives. . .Make wuna carry go jare. . .I'm trying so hard not to see sense in this . . . But I fail. The root of the problem finely pointed out! |

https://yemojanews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Omotola-Jalade-Ekeinde-Captain-Matthew-Ekeinde.jpg The husband of one of Nigeria’s hottest and most beautiful actersses, Omotola Jalade- Ekehinde, Captain Matthew Ekehinde has been thrown into the labour market. Captain Matthew was among the 800 staffers relieved of their duties by the CEO of Air Nigeria, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim few weeks ago over what he called disloyal and lack of commitment to the company. However, we gathered that the father of four is seriously searching for a new job as at the time we are filing this report. It is still sketchy where the light skinned pilot will be heading to, but an insider squealed that he is working so hard to get a new job at the troubled Arik Airline or better still, a very reliable foreign carrier that is ready to agree to his terms and conditions. A call and text message put through to his wife over his husband’s current state is yet to be replied. Captain Matthew, according to some of his friends is very diligent and committed to his work, but has been very unlucky with most of the airlines he had worked with. It would be recalled the pilot had worked with the defunct airlines; Skyline and Sosoliso before joining Air Nigeria few years ago. |

KingOfNairaland: OMG! I don't think I can feed on this ma dearOf course you can, especially if it's prepared by Missy ![]() emilyone: pls what are the recipes for that?Ingredients: Eggs [ 1 per person] Grated cheese Bacon Oil Ground black pepper - optional Procedure Prepare spaghetti. Immediately you put spaghetti into the boiling water, Heat a little quantity of oil (say, 2-3 tablespoon) in a pan and add your sliced/chopped onion and allow to sauté, watch for softness. Add diced bacon and reduce heat to the lowest so bacon and onions do not get burnt. Whisk egg(s) in a plate and add grated cheese to egg(s) and whisk together. When Spaghetti is ready, drain and put into the pan containing bacon Increase heat to medium and stir. Leave for about 30-40 seconds, then turn off heat or reduce heat to lowest. Empty the egg mixed with cheese into the pan containing pasta and mix thoroughly. Turn off heat immediately and serve. One of my fav. Enjoy!
