Ghl03: This is not about being funny & i'm not dhtml you slowpoke!!Would you, at least, come in here and be civil for once? https://www.nairaland.com/1040850/why-celebrities-thread-always-makes |
naptu2: Chris Brown and Rihanna should actually be on the front page and people who are trying to prevent that are infringing on the rights of others. If you don't like it, skip it. There might be others who like it. Why are you trying to impose your view on others? There are enough topics, threads and sections in this forum. |
OAM4J: Very good one. Absolutely correct.Jolosi!!! ![]() |
May God bless you, Ambrosini! Ah! Your thread is just a breath of fresh air . . . I will not move this thread for now so those who have an opposing view can speak up. This thread does not, in any way, substitute the complaints thread, but We'll answer questions regarding the celebrities section on this thread. I'm also hoping that garri-whatsis that has constantly been getting banned since yesterday will show up and say what his problems are, maybe we can come to an understanding. |
hornipipe: i never knew pretty ladies could be this harshWe're only trying to give you a clean Nairaland ![]() |
booqee: Missy B, dis is oppression redefined. It just aint fair!https://www.nairaland.com/985319/celebrity-section-complaints-suggestions-thread |
Just a word of advice to you Garriwhatsis: It takes me about 2 seconds to ban you, while it takes you more than 5 minutes to reg. a new yahoo Id and then reg. a new username on NL. While you'd have spent 1 hour getting 12 NL monikers, I'd have spent just 24 seconds banning 'em all. #Nawhogotire? As long as I moderate this board, my dear friend, na you go taya; so give up already! ![]() |
cdamsel: d garri ban don stop, bros no fear againFalse! Join the bandwagon at your own peril! |
“It is time for government to shift attention to the kind of havoc caused by ICT. We focused too much attention on fighting Boko Haram and other forms of terrorism. It is time to focus on cyber made terrorism because it has claimed lives of many Nigerians silently.Like it has yielded any impressive result! ![]() |
pro01: But you care enough to click on the topic, view the thread, and comment on it. |
Make I see picshore first. Anything less than a diamond ring is a No, and I shall wait, even till 70, until I find that man willing to give it to me. ![]() |
This should help - https://www.nairaland.com/483046/pancakes |
sessydoo: Yes Miss B, i want to put a ring right now if u allow me. But honestly is she ur gel? do u know her personally? if yes pls help me tell Bimbo to learn how to behave in public. We boarded the same plane from heathrow airport to Nigeria and i was so ashamed to see Bimbo shouting on her phone, even after they have asked evrybody to switch-off their mobil fones. not nice at allI thought as much! Bimbo is too classy and courteous to act like a market woman in public. ![]() |
Perhaps, 5 foods you should eat moderately. |
Ujujoan: Lol . . .Exactly! |
damlawbaba: datz ma girl so u tu won marry at d age of 74 abi. ;Ddatz ma girl so u tu won marry at d age of 74 abi.Yes, except you want to put a ring on it now. ![]() |
ZUBY77: Where do you people dig up all this rubish to derail us from what matters? You are not under duress to post on a thread you don't like. |
Ujujoan: I agree . . .Perhaps! Ujujoan: A man who still wants to keep clubbing day and night when he now has a family at home is plain irresponsible. But for a single guy, it's not that big a deal! And there are tons of married men like that. A few days ago a lady launched a thread about her husband clubbing w/out her. . .If marriage made people responsible, was that man absent the day change came knocking or he's simply immune to change? Ujujoan: A man can reduce the amount of money he spends on beer because he now has to buy pampers and pay for ante-natal visits!Ah! You've not seen/heard of husbands and fathers that spend money in beer parlors or on young girls while his children's school fees haven't even been paid let alone pocket money given to the kids? Perhaps, you married a man with a good head on his shoulders . . . Just dey thank God! There are too many useless married men out there that mere listening to their stories is enough to make one question the seriousness of the institution. |
Ujujoan: But a person's status can influence h/her behaviour!Very true! Status may change behaviour, but not character. Behaviors can be feigned but not character; and behaviors not in line with your character are usually temporary. Eventually, the real you comes out, and we hear ''he wasn't like this when he was wooing me/poor/seeking help etc. Point is, people can hardly/not change their nature/character/makeup. A man that is by nature irresponsible, grew up avoiding or neglecting his responsibilities, has no sense of family value can never wake up one morning and become responsible simply because he got married yesterday. . .Just as a stingy poor man cannot become a philanthropist overnight simply because he won the lottery. Ujujoan: Marriage as a status should institue some behavioural changes in both men and women . . resulting from changed circumstances!Emphasis on should ; ought to. That's a supposition; theory, but in practice, what's the situation like? - a quick glance through the familiy section before you reply, pls. Lol! |
Men - and women alike - are responsible, and ought to be characterized thusly in virtue of their character, and not marital status. |
That's my girl! ![]() |
https://www.africanmoviesnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Bimbo-Akintola.jpg "I will be 70 and still be single if I do not believe honestly that I have found the right person. We are all on earth as individuals. Some of us will marry; some of us will not. Some of us will have children, some of us will not. So I never judge myself according to other people's standard. Marriage is such a huge deal and I'm not in a hurry to go there. That's the truth. If you find maybe two of my ex's, you will find out that I've had proposals. But I turned them down because at the end of the day, you are saying 'I pick this person above everybody else in the world, till death do us part.' I had better believe that! If I don't believe it, it's not going to happen. If I'd wanted to be married 15 times over, I would have. But I won't marry for people, I will marry for me. When I find the person that makes me feel I can do this forever, then I am ready." Bimbo Akintola, 37. |
