dear the streets of Ikeja around computer village, to Olowu, Ipodo market area, Seriki-Aro, e.t.c is known to experience this kind of raids at least once a month but this is the most intense I have experienced

Friday night when people are coming from night vigil and club

Residents of Ikeja area of Lagos was terrified by the activities of the members of the police Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) who carried out series of raids in the area between 12 and 13th January 2018

It was reported that the raid took place twice, first at 10pm Friday night with 2 black Maria and 4 yellow colored danfo buses all filled up after the raid with passer-by and club party people who were all apprehended

A second and more intense raid took place at around 2am which caused great scare as prostitutes,passer-by and even innocent residents ran into people's houses as they try to escape from the intense chase from the well armed SARS operatives who came with double the number of vehicles for the raid

It was serious as all the residents were afraid thinking it was a Robbery taking place. Almost 200 people were picked up in the process. A woman by name Lydia after the raid said she was arrested last year and had to bail herself with a sum of 120 thousand naira. It is still a surprise that no statement has been released from the police[b][/b]
