Please house, I have few qtns:
1. Do one need to make hotel bookings since we plan spending 2 nights outside our contact persons domain? We intend visiting a tourist attraction in the bodering state to my aunt who is our contact person and would not be back that day.
2. We are staying in my aunt's place so she is our contact person. Based on US & DS-160 standard, does she falls as our relative?

Sorry about that, had the same issue. Please if you are not using the same DS-160 profile, ensure you delete the old one and print it colored if possible. I have been turn back twice, one pic, 2nd time was the old Application Id was sticking out. am yet to reapply.

@Mitchellia; to keep your old appointment intact do see @the bolded once more, it will help. It takes some level of smartness in addition too to all other variables to secure the US visa.... I only hope the agent you were using isn't actually ruthless, your game ain't coming across as tight, up it oh! All the best.

You will link the ds160 form with the appointment page by login with the username and password to www.cgifederal.secure.force.com
after login click update and include your husband ds160 number since he's the main applicant and click save or continue I'm not too sure then after some series of questions which you must read carefully before ticking and then you will get to a space where you will need to include the rest of the applicant in the form, after this you will add the payment code from the visa fee receipt then choose where to pick your passport and schedule a date for your interview.
Your husband will be the person sponsoring the trip
you must state everyone traveling together in each ds160
you're traveling as a group but not as an organisation.

You need the username and password of your profile.
it's DS-160 form not DV and you should beg your agent to give you all the necessary info without that there's nothing we can do.

Input your e-mail address, click on that "Forgot your Password" at the bottom and change your password or you call the CGI peeps and tell them you want to update your email address with a new one. You already have a profile with them and can not just start afresh like that even though you can fill another DS160 and use to update the former.

However, take note that some agents can be really desperate, callous and close to demonic if not demonic sha! Hopefully this one isn't one, I have heard stuff, I mean stuff! Good luck....

Yes, do that first thing first and control your application yourself, provided the email address used is also under your control. Fill another DS160 for all affected, call the customer care unit of the embassy to update the DS160 number of all the affected, then print another appointment letter carrying the new DS160 form number when you are done. Simple!

Pls house, just stumbled on this wonderful & educated link. Pls how do one fill another ds-160. We would want to fill it personally.we have ignorantly contracted someone to handle it for us (my husband, 3 kids & mysef). he is yet to submit the forms. He had picked interview date. He refused to give us answers to the security questions. Is it possible to still link the newly filled ds-160 to the earlier chosen interview appointment date. Tnx
