BENARI: I thought you're trained to endured opposition and persecution. Just a writing word on the internet, you termed it an insult and took to your heels because you have no rebuttal. How will type will never survive the great tribulation when Jws are singled out for thier being the only true religion? Classic case of a true Jw. Illiterates made literate by a certain theocratic ministry school where they are thought simply to preach thier version of the Goodnews and nothing more. They're never thought to engage in meaningful debate, no, only do the talking to vulnerable people who can be fooled by them; those one they call honest hearted. No wonder they are only able to recruit mostly impoverished and illiterate people in society who in turn are taught to read and right in thier propaganda school. And this is the kind of products they churn out. For heaven's sake, what or where is the insult in the beginning of my response to your lazy invitation for me to come to kingdom hall instead of responding to questions here and make your light shine like Jws always like to brag. Come to kingdom hall and do what? And sit like a donkey and allow some 8 men from warwick in USA to tell me what is biblical and what is not, and expect unquestioning loyalty from me? God forbid, I'll be loyal to no organisation or group of men but God and Christ. Then stay loyal to yours and let us to remain loyal to ours. Is that hard to do? |

JorgedeToledo: Beware, the Jehovah's witness organization is not a Christian group but manmade organization.
They do not follow Jesus Christ but they follow the Governing Body of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. Why does it hurt you people so much that we trust and follow directions from our Governing body? Is it your Governing body? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Five (5) Misconceptions About Jehovah's Witnesses. by mitchyy(f): 6:49am On Jun 01, 2020 |
BENARI: [s]Say what you know my friend, not what you don't. I thought you'd ask me to prove every single accusations I made here against the organisation. If you ask, I'll provide more than enough. But let me warn you, if you examine the evidence, you'll forever be freed from the constant guilt you feel as a witness. Talking about open mind, I wonder how Jws always encourage others to be open minded, when they themselves will not even peep through the curtains of thier Minds. You ask people to come to your kingdom halls, but will never set foot at the door of another church. You ask people to question thier own faith and doctrine, when you accept any thing thrown at you by the governing body without question, even when, according to them, it does not make sense to you; talk about double standard. If you're willing to be open minded, I dare you to visit the internet and read about the organisation. For a start, visit www.jwfacts.com. If you visit that site, I swear to God I'll follow to become one of Jw. If you refuse to check out that site and others that examines the believes and doctrines of the Jw, it will only mean that you're not confident of what you believe, and you're in darkness. Remember darkness fears light.
Enough of following in the religion of your birth. Question it, and prove to yourself that this indeed is the Truth.
If you can help people question thier beliefs, you shouldn't be afraid to do same yourself. But the Truth is, the governing body will tell you not to read from outside sources because they know you'll find out the Truth about thier so-called Truth. And you'd foolishly do as they tell you, because you think they speak for Jehovah. Yet Jeffery Jackson at the Australian Royal commission enquiry about Jehovah's witnesses handling of Child abuse cases denied under oath that they are the only true source through which God speaks. Yet they tell thier gullible followers that they are the only source, and they foolishly accept without question. Check it out, it's on the internet. Australian Royal commission enquiry about the Jws handling of Child abuse cases. It's a video, not here Say. No honest individual has remained in the autocratic organisation after watching that video.
I dare you to examine your organisation. I'll provide with any support you might require. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father, except through me. It didn't say through the governing body or a faithful and discreet slave. Read your Bible again. Read Mathew 25 to 27 and you would see that the faithful and discreet slave Jesus talked about means completely different things from what the governing body is teaching Jws. Read that scripture on your own without the watchtower magazine. You can try reading that account from various translations. May God punish me if I'm trying to lead you astray and not to open your eyes to the strangle hold of the governing body.
I'm available anytime to discuss and prove any thing I put out here. But I expect you'll panic and run like most Jws do when confronted with facts about thier religion. Free yourself from cognitive dissonance. You're a member of a religious cult[/s] I do not read replies that begin with insults and demeaning words. I'm not your child. When you are ready to speak maturedly, i will read and reply as i've been replying everyone else |

You said one of the most important commandment Jesus gave was that y'all should go out preaching the word of God.
Then I quoted James 1:3
That says not many of you should be teachers because teachers would be judged with a stricter judgement.
Doesn't it mean, Ur organisation is making y'all teachers thereby condemning some of u to hell? Was Jesus contravening his own command when he allowed all his disciples both male and female to preach and teach from door to door? All of us preach and teach others |

Narijoel: No it don't surprise me, What is more surprising is when these other religious sect/cult/gang/atheists foam in the mouth and have numerous sleepless nights because a particular group known as Jehovah's Witnesses also chose to believe that they have the truth because of their convictions backed by evidence. If you are a JW, then please take it easy. Its not right to criticize other people's religion even if they do. Two wrongs don't make a right. Everyone has the right to believe in whatever they wish |

Retrography: Let me challenge your Number 2:
Jesus said they will be thrown into the Everlasting lake of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Can someone in the grave weep and gnash their teeth? In discussing this place in Matthew 13:42, Jesus did not use the word “Hades,” the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew word “Sheol.” Rather, he used the word “Gehenna” in the Hebrew version. This word referred to a refuse dump close to Jerusalem, called the Valley of Hinnom, where a fire was kept burning to destroy the garbage. It was a fitting term to make Jesus’ listeners think, not of eternal suffering, but of complete destruction, annihilation by fire. He drove this point home when he warned that God “can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.” (Matthew 10:28, NAB) Gehenna is a symbol of eternal death, not eternal torture. God is a God of love. He does not torture people eternally in hell. Infact he outrightly stated it so many times how much he hates the idea of burning children in the fire. He said it is detestable for people to burn their children. (Jeremiah 32:35 Ezekiel 23:37, Ezekiel 16:21). So who is lying and spreading these lies? Obviously someone who wants to paint Jehovah as a cruel God, Satan the Devil. That doesn't mean he will tolerate wickedness. The wicked ones will be destroyed indefinitely. |

Retrography: Jesus have the charge to his disciples to baptize with this formular: In the name of the Father, And of the Son, And of the Holy Spirit.
Any format outside this one is not baptism.
So I ask any Jehovah's witness to tell me the format you use during your baptism.
Again, how many times was the world supposed to end in Jehovah's Witness prophecies but the world never ended?
Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate Christmas because the date is not in the Bible.
So why do you use Roman Catholic calendar to commemorate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ every year? But you don't call it Easter. I know this because I receive flyers every year about this particular event. Please can you show me where it is written in the Bible that the date for the event changes from year to year? #last year's date was not the same as this year's own# Let me first refine your questions. We do not commemorate the resurrection of Jesus. We do not celebrate Easter. What we commemorate is the day Jesus died. On that day he ate the bread and the wine and asked his apostles to keep doing it in remembrance of him in Luke 22:19. That is what we observe and its totally different from Easter |

A friend was chased out of the uncle's house because he refused to attend Jehovah witness with them, why? This is no hearsay. As Jehovah’s Witnesses, we enjoy discussing matters of faith with people of all religions, but we do not practice interfaith in the sense of worshipping with those who have other beliefs. As for the action of your friend's uncle, that was very wrong. We are taught to be tolerant of other people's religion. So the uncle's behaviour was not in line with what the bible teaches us |

rosalieene: My major concern about Jehovah witness people is that they feel like they are the only true worshippers of God and following biblical teachings while other churches are not. they also dont believe in prophecy etc Those who are serious about religion should think that the one they’ve chosen is acceptable to Jehovah and Jesus. Otherwise, why would they be involved in it? Jesus Christ didn’t agree with the view that there are many religions, many roads, all leading to salvation. Rather, he said: “Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.” (Matthew 7:14) Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that they’ve found that road. Otherwise, they’d look for another religion. We do not condemn other people's religion but peacefully practice ours |
Christianity Etc › Re: Five (5) Misconceptions About Jehovah's Witnesses. by mitchyy(f): 2:48pm On May 31, 2020 |
wisewordd: By "all Christians" you mean Jehovah witness? Because you don't see others as Christians. We follow the Bible’s advice to “respect everyone”, regardless of their religious beliefs. (1 Peter 2:17) That is why we avoid pressuring people to become one of us. These are the reasons: Jesus never pressured people to accept his teachings. He knew that relatively few would respond to his message. Jesus taught his followers not to push others to change their beliefs. Instead of trying to force people to accept the good news of the Kingdom against their will, his disciples were to look for listeners who were receptive. This is why we don't force our message or anyone. |

BENARI: This religion has destroyed countless homes and families. This religion is the proverbial sheep in wolf covering. They harbor child molesters, refusing to report them to the authorities, and victims of child molestation who choose to leave the religion because of injustice meted to them are shunned forever by loved ones, unless they return to the group. Jws will not even report to the authorities one who confesses to killing people. It's a one way street, and thier love is conditional. They love bomb you when you become thier member; but once you uncover thier false doctrines and head for the exit, they accuse of leaving Jehovah and then withdraw all thier conditional love. They tell everyone of thier members, your members who are Jws inclusive to shun you, never to even say a greeting to you.If you live with your parent at the time of making this decision, then you must leave the home, and your parents must never speak with you again unless you return back to the group.
Bottom line is this, although Jws regard as worldly and a Babylonian anyone not a member of thier cult, you're better off never joining the religion. If you ever join the religion, you must never leave. If you do, you'll loose everything and everyone you've ever known and had as friend or family.
They are a deadly cult.
Doubt me, go to the internet, read, watch and hear the stories of survivors of this Abusive religion. Jehovah's Witnesses are not in Saturn. Visit our kingdom hall with an open mind, attend and see for yourself, not internet stories. Even Jesus had false stories spread about him. So who are we not to be lied against? If you were once a Witness who was disfellowshipped for wrongdoing then i understand why you might be bitter. But one thing is for sure... Jehovah's Witnesses DO NOT shield anyone from wrongdoing. If you commit an offence punishable by the law, no one will hide you away from your sin. |

wisewordd: So, why do you discriminate other churches and their practice? Let them carry their load and also, leave their members for them. Stop going to their houses if you won't welcome them to yours. Don't give what you won't take. We cannot stop because it was a command given to all Christians by Jesus in Matthew 24:14. Its a God-given command we must obey. Meanwhile, we do not force people to listen but rather respect people's wish if they don't want to listen. |
