You're own argument is watery! Efcc is still legal until the court says otherwise. They were commissioned into law by the national assembly hence you can't equate them with a fake police. Efcc are police members.
Section 15(5) and 2(4) of our constitution mandate Nigeria as a country to fight crime. Efcc was established on this mandate.
State can constitute their own agency, just like Kano state. ICPC has won a similar case base on this hence Efcc will win theirs too.

Please who is the force constitutionally backed by the state to fight crime? Is fraud and embezzlement a crime? Have you heard of Special Fraud Unit under the NPF? Is an economic crime not under the purview of the NPF being.... A CRIME? Are you aware that under the law NPF can override Road Safety for instance? Even this EFCC can be overtaken in court by the AGF.

Look these agencies were created outside the constitution to aid the NPF and can only draw power and legality from the constitution hence the process empowering them must be without fault. Is that so hard for you to grab that that is my point oga solid argument?

While the agent must always inform his principal on such issues (and the AG WAS WRONG) the reason Mr. Governor has adduced for not challenging the legality of the EFCC is watery. That a fake police officer helped you apprehend a thief and recover money does not legalize his status.

This goes to the root of the agency's legality and might help it eventually in its independence and effectiveness. Let the right thing be done. In law it is said that nothing can stand on nothing.
