Paul Pogba is set to extend his contract at Manchester United in the coming weeks according to reports from England.
A little over one year ago, June 2016 to be precised, Pogba was heavily linked to some choice clubs across Europe.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and even Paris Saint-Germain were rumored to be interested in the Frenchman.
Just when fans were contemplating whether to believe the rumors or not, Paul Pogba dropped a bomb in the minefield when he said he wants a new challenge somewhere else.
“Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well. For me, I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.
“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well … I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else. I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else.” Pogba said.
Since then, the Frenchman’s time at club has been marred with injuries and inconsistency.
