After weeks of close negotiations, Arsenal have reached an agreement with David Luiz to extend his contract for one year.

I reported last week that Mikel Arteta was keen on extending the current deals of David Luiz and Aubameyang.

Strong internal sources at the Emirates confirm that Arteta still maintains this resolve and is hoping to an agreement will be reached soon.

Talks are currently ongoing between Arsenal, Aubameyang and Arteta who's "very close" to the player.

According to reports, Arsenal have concluded a £13.5million deal for Pablo Mari, Flamengo Vice-President Marcos Braz, already confirmed that the deal is done but Arsenal cannot announce it yet as there are a few things left to done.

LA Galaxy have ended their contract with Serbian player Aleksander Katai by mutual consent after the recent racist comments by his wife.



In two seperate posts on Instagram, Tea Katai [Aleksander Katai’s wife], made mockery of the Black Lives Matter protests which was sparked by the killing of George Floyd.

She put up a picture showing an showing a police vehicle trying to drive through a crowd of protestors with a caption in Serbian meaning “Kill the shits”.

Tea Katai’s posts immediately triggered criticism from LA Galaxy and their fans.

Odion Ighalo has expressed his despise for racism, saying he will take a different approach by walking off the pitch if racially abused again.

The level of racism has seemingly spiked in the footballing circle and the world at large despite FIFA’s efforts to eradicate it.

The Black lives matter movement has returned to the front burner after a black American man was murdered last week.

Liverpool stars join "Black lives matter campaign" (See Photos)

Liverpool stars have shown their support for the Black lives matter campaign in solidarity with the movement against the killing of blacks around the world especially in the United States of America.

The world wide movement was sparked by the killing of George Floyd, a black American who was killed by a Minneapolis police officer last week.

The officer, Derek Chauvin, put his knee on George's neck for over eight minutes as the latter gasp for breathe in the final minutes of his life.

Liverpool stars James Wilner, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk posted pictures of the club's first team players kneeling at the center of the Anfield pitch as a show of support for the campaign against the unjust killings of blacks.
