Politics / Re: Nuclear Power Plant For Nigeria by mm(m): 10:56am On Oct 16, 2006
the financial implication of we having several medium gas power plants will be unbearable in the future, this might be the replication of the petroleum refineries case, that the government find it difficult to manage.

Politics / Proposed Budget 2007: "good Or Bad "? by mm(m): 11:15am On Oct 12, 2006
The budget get might not change the condition of Nigerians if it plans to increase fuel price!. The budget sounds good because of several developmental projects that will benefit Nigerians, it will take care of i.e medium size power plants, roads and so on. What bothers me most is, will this budget touch the lives of poor and average Nigerians??. The bad roads particularly federal highways are getting worst day by day e.g Lagos Benin. The only good news to come may emerge from private sectors of the economy e.g telecoms GSM since prices has started falling. Agriculture may still suffer set back because of government bureaucracy and the selfish agendas of banks, particularly difficulties in obtaining interest and collateral free loans. In terms of governance and keeping to promise of elected politicians, this might improve if the current ones that embezzled public fund are severely dealt with. Whats your view ? nairalanders.??

Politics / Heads Roll Again "airforce Jet Crash"! by mm(m): 12:24pm On Sep 18, 2006
About 15 people including some Army Generals whose ambition is to restructure the Nigerian Army feared dead in the illfated mishap. NAF Dornier 228 aircraft 18 seater is believed to have crashed around Vandeikya in Benue State about 18 nautical miles from Bebi airstrip. Though an incident occurred on September 12, 1997 a NAF Dornier 228-212 in Nguru, Borno State, ran into a ditch during take off. The pilot lost control and the plane ran into a tree. Although there were eight passengers and two crew members on board, there was no fatality. The incident was a sign that there are major problems ahead for the NAF aircrafts, it is either they need regular servicing or outright replacement of some. The Military is an institution that always pretend to be perfect or have no problems because of the regiment ways of dealing. Now that, they realized that there are a lot of wrongs to be corrected was when the unfortunate mishap occurred. The destiny of every country lies int GOD's hand and next is the MILITARY. So the Nigerian Military most not be deterred by this sad mishap, the reforms must continue to make the Nigeria Military capable of defending the integrity of the country.

Power cuts in Nigeria, nuclear power plant is the solution. It cost 1.2billion dollars to for to be built by France and some advance country. Why build almost 40billions dollars reserve will the economy is gradually been crumbled by power cuts. Nuclear power is clean and effective.
