I just keep wandering why Atiku has not sympathise with victims of Lagos building collapse.

If it were to be during campaign, he would have been the first to send his sympathy message.

Dear nairalanders, please I need help, over and over again I have corrected my wife of this attitude of not picking my calls. We stay apart as a result of hussling tho in Nigeria. But she is with the kids. She will go out for business without telling me,she will come back late and when I call she will give one excuse or the other.Even to speak to the children and cousins at home is now difficult, as a result of her attitudes. Most times I feel lonely and miss home but because of work I can't help it,so I try to call but the new attitudes is she doesn't pick but will later call to give flimsy excuses. As a result of difficulties in inter state job transfer it has not be easy for us to live together for now.Pls what doing do towards this attitude, your wise help is appreciated.
Is it same wife that doesn't pick your call?

Politics / Adekunle Akinlade Rejects Ogun Governorship Election Result, Allege Manipulation by mmb(m): 3:11pm On Mar 10, 2019
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its gubernatorial candidate, Adekunle Akinlade has rejected the ongoing election results being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ogun state.

The APM Campaign Director General, Sarafa Ishola spoke alongside Akinlade at the party’s secretariat at Leme, Abeokuta.

Ishola alleged that gubernatorial election which began peacefully on Saturday was allegedly hijacked by hoodlums and “unidentified uniform men” during the collation stage, and further manipulated the results in favour of APC.

He said the APM had petition INEC in the state to investigate the “infractions” and stop announcement of results forthwith.

The DG expressed concerns that despite the complaints the INEC has started announcing the results.

Ishola said the APM rejects the results as being announced, declaring that “it was hijacked, compromised and did not reflect the wishes of Ogun people.”

“The people of Ogun state have been raped”, Akinlade declared, saying he will use all legal means to undo the alleged injustice.

Politics / Buhari To Decide Next Senate President For Us - Omo-agege by mmb(m): 12:37pm On Mar 06, 2019
President Muhammadu Buhari will be a major determinant in who becomes the next head of the Senate and chairman of the National Assembly, a member of the upper legislative chamber, Ovie Omo-Agege, said on Wednesday, March 6.

Omo-Agege who represents Delta Central senatorial district, said this while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Warri, Delta state. The senator said the Buhari and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) would avoid the 2015 mistake that led to the emergence of Sen. Bukola Saraki as the president of the Senate.
‘‘Anybody who is going to be Senate president, in the 9th Senate, must be somebody who is loyal to Mr President, the party and the constitution. ‘‘The Senate president will be determined by Mr President. Mr President will indicate to us through the party who he want to work with,’’ Omo-Agege said.

He claimed he was not aware if the APC had zoned the position of the Senate president to any region of the country. "But what I can tell you is that we are going to have a Senate that will work with Mr President. "The era of allowing renegades who rode on the back of Mr President, who rode on the back of the party to go in there and trade the party’s mandate, I think that era is gone.

"I am very hopeful that this time around, Mr President will step in and decide not only the zone that will produce the Senate president and the leadership but also who should be. "We don’t want to erect another opposition leader in the Senate, as we had in the 8th Assembly. "There are a lot of us in the Senate who are returning to the next senate who fits into that position.

We are so many but any decision the president makes, we will all fall in line and abide. ”We want President Buhari to succeed and it is all in our place, some of us who are close to him, to tell him certain calls he should not make because we know ourselves in the National Assembly and we do not want a repeat of the Saraki saga as we go back to the ninth Senate." he said.
