Our ignorance in the body of Christ is not what we want, but the mysteries to engage that will deliver the results we desire is lacking. We either do not know them or we do not understand their operation. Knowing them is like having the ingredients for food without understanding the combination that will produce results. You must walk with God to find out what ingredients are required for the outcome. For instance, if I want to prepare yam and egg sauce, I believe that rice is not needed in that combination. There are many useful information in the kingdom, but you have to find out which ones are responsible for the formation you desire. That certain lights are available does not necessarily mean that they are needed for a particular aspect of your spiritual journey. When a believer gets born again, there are certain truths that are consistent with God’s character, but they are not part of the ingredient required to lay the foundation for his spiritual walk. So the patient must trust the doctor and his prescription. There are times a doctor will prescribe a drug but right inside you feel you are fine and would not need that drug, yet you have to trust the expertise of that doctor. This is one of the excellencies of working with the Spirit, He minimizes wastage in your life. So do not go about investing on things that would not profit you in any way. They may be spiritual but are they profitable as defined by the season that you are in? The men of Issachar had an understanding of the times for they knew what they ought to do. Let the Holy Spirit be the One to unveil the curriculum for the spiritual development. It is costly to guess, it is costly to copy. There are seasons in your life when He will switch the emphasis to your finances. You might feel you are getting carnal, yet He might not talk to you about anything spiritual, because according to His desire for you, the formation for you spiritual growth necessitates that you now know the principles of wealth.

TITHING - AN AVENUE FOR THE GRACE THAT BRINGS FINANCIAL SUPPLY (A teaching by Theo Wolmarans)


Malachi 3: 11
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, says the Lord of Hosts.

God says, I will throw open the floodgates of Heaven for you and I will pour out on you so much blessings financially and materially that you will not have enough room to contain it. Now, He says I will rebuke the Devourer for you, I will protect your source of your income. I will stop the devil stealing from you and he will not destroy the fruit of your Righteous labors and you will not fail to receive a fruitful Harvest, says the Lord your God.

Biblical principles on Tithing
Tithe: the word tithe simply means a tenth of all our increase and this includes whatever additional funds we receive in our life, be it salary or other blessings - ten percent belongs to God and God instructs us to bring the whole tenth of our income to him - not nine percent. We should honor the Lord with this ten percent before we take anything from our own accounts. So if I am giving ten percent of all I earn to God then obviously whatever I do out in the marketplace for a living, ten percent of that time I am using to work just for God's kingdom to finance His kingdom- ten percent of all my talents and my life and energy are being used to further God's Kingdom. Those who do not bring their tithes to the Lord hurt the Father’s Heart.

God asks us to prove him, to put Him to the test. When the Father says He will open the windows of Heaven, He is saying I'll pour out my grace on your finances. “I put my grace on you to prosper”. “I will open the windows of Heaven” means “I will pour out my grace on you to prosper, you will have my grace and my favor working for you”.

Declare: God's grace and favor to prosper is on my life. God's grace
and God's favor is upon my life to prosper.

The literal Hebrew meaning for “opening up the windows” means He will empty out all of Heaven's resources -whatever that is necessary and again
He promises divine protection from all things that would like to steal our finances.

If I cannot give to God my ten percent of all that he has given me, then how can I say that I have given my life to Jesus and that I am partaking in the Covenant? Could it be that some are afraid to tithe because they have more faith in the 500 if they are earning five thousand dollars or in the 500 Rand if they're earning five thousand Rand? Do they have more faith in their money than they do in God? Does this not weaken their faith
to trust God in other areas?

Tithing? But for us to have given our lives to God we have entered into the Covenant of Grace. It is a joy for us to tithe to God for the advancement of his kingdom in the Earth.

At the beginning of July 2010, I was led by the spirit of God to call someone who was under terrible financial stress in the church in San Antonio. Their business closed down back in November 2009. They hadn't earned any money for approximately eight months - they were living on prescription drugs to help them cope with the stress that had all sorts of physical ailments. I asked this lady on the phone, “are you using your faith for a new job”? She said “yes I am” she said I'm confessing that I have a new job. Now I could tell right away that she was using her faith incorrectly because she was overcome by fear. You can't use your faith when you are overcome by fear. Faith removes fear. Meditating on the word till Faith Comes will remove fear. If fear comes, Faith leaves.

You can't have both at the same time. I asked the lady to write down a specific confession that I gave her and I said to her, say it over and over and then stop every once in a while and praise and worship God and then carry on doing it. I told her to do it several times a day. So several times a day dear lady I want you to make this confession and then when you're done praise God. Tell Jesus you love him, tell the Father you love him and then make sure you do that several times throughout the day, don't forget to do it. I told her that within seven, she should have her new job. Well, within five days she got a job for ten thousand dollars a month.

Would you like to know what that confession was that I gave that lady?
What was it that the lady said that gave her ten thousand dollar job in five days. Here it is. “Father thank you for showing me where my new job is, thank you for guiding me to it because of your grace.”
So I told her to say that confession several times and then to praise God out loud and say “Father I love you, I worship you in Jesus name.”
I told her that within 10 days she should know exactly where that job was. Then well it worked out that within five days she got that job of ten thousand dollars a month.

Before this miracle, she had been in that work for eight months and tried desperately to get work and was confessing that she had a job but she was full of fear. Now God knows exactly what you can do with your talents and your abilities. God knows what work is available that suits you, wherever it might be. Something you will enjoy doing and which will
bless you financially - God knows exactly where that job is!

Declare: Father thank you for showing me how to increase my financial income because of your grace

It is not by struggling, it is Grace, it is His Mercy. Then listen to your heart when you say it. An understanding will grow inside of you and in a few days you will know where that money is or what to do to earn it. It might be something you can do at home, in your spare time.

We (as a Ministry) give because of the benefits we receive and because we want to minister to people's needs around the world and bring Revival worldwide - that is why we give and praise God our churches are debt
free so that we can give more to the gospel. We still have expenses obviously - there are ongoing expenses to run a Ministry this size. But all the good work that we're doing by the grace of God is wonderful.
