Cheap ≠ Mediocre. Not always at least.

Most of these so called "flagships" are rip offs. The brands bank on the "Name" to hoodwink customers.

Brands like itel make smartphones really cheap but with sometimes proportionate capabilities with some of these flagships in areas of battery optimization, crisp screens, security, storage sizes etc.

But the disrespect out there is inexplicable and purely criminal.

I laugh when I see people compare itel to other transsion phones. Itel as we have it today is doing better than infinix in terms of capabilities. Their phones dey last die. Even the battery. People who haven't used an Itel yet would be the first to talk but wetin concern me, I dey enjoy my own device. A56 porting to S16 soon!!

That's too damn bad o, Itel has some pretty decent phones that don't even cost so much to own. I use an itel and it's been serving me well for the last 4 years now.

Na who no go no go know. I use an Itel phone as well and it's not giving me any issue. If you follow these people their mouth u go think say the phone no good when it's indeed the best transsion offer. I'm a mobile freak but my phone of choice is Itel.

Your last paragraph was exactly what I was discussing with a friend of mine yesterday. The guy was of the opinion that they focus on budget devices but I had to let him know that the negative reviews they were getting were actually as a result of focusing on budget phones in a world that is evolving. We now live in a world where phones now carry 4 to 16 gb RAM. Why won't they laugh when they see a 1gb RAM device forgetting that it's a budget offering. I sincerely think that itel should flex their muscles a bit. Especially now that they're starting to put their house in order. Their latest devices are great and I'm sure that they can deliver high-end if they want to.

You made some really valid points sir. Quite frankly I think itel will even do better in the high-end market. It will also give their entry devices a bit of street cred. Amazing stuff
