Most of us mock this teachers, yea it awful, but bar some few exceptional teachers in the south, most of them are also the samething, the only difference is that in most yoruba, igbo, calabar and other ethnic groups in the south, they speak most of english or pidgin from childhood which makes them not too vulnerable to vocal errors.. the north on the other hand speak their core hausa from childhood to death except few who are offsprings of their elites... 6 Likes 2 Shares |

A miraculous aspect of the Qur’an is its prediction of future events, all of which have so far been fulfilled. This is one of the proofs that the Qur’an is the Word of Allah. In the following pages, we will dwell on some of these events. An astonishing prediction is found in the initial verses of Surat ar-Rum, which refers to the Byzantine Empire, the eastern part of the later Roman Empire: The Byzantine Empire, which had met with a great defeat, would soon gain victory. The (2-4) verses of Surah Rome (30th Surah) in holy Quran are as follows: The Romans have been Defeated (2)In these three verses, there are two quranic prophesies. The first regarding the defeat of Persians at the hands of Romans, which got fulfilled during the life of holy prophet, and the second , the fight taking place at the lowest point on earth, which got verified, only when google earth cameras went up the air. Both these prophesies are explained in details below: In the early 7th century, the two most powerful empires at the time were the Byzantine and Persian Empires. In 614 AD, five years after Bi’thaat (appointment of Muhammed as the prophet), a battle occurred between Iran (Persia) and Rome (Byzantine) in a place near Jerusalem. King Khosro Parviz, the emperor of Iran invaded Jerusalem and committed genocide. After defeat, the Byzantines were sinking in troubles. The threats to them not only came from the Persians, but also from Avars, Slavians, and Lombards. Many governors rebelled against Heraclius (The Byzantium emperor) and the Kingdom was near almost collapse. Since defeat the Romans were sinking in low ebbs, when the Quranic verses were bestowed to humanity predicting that soon the Romans shall defeat the Persians. In verse 4, the Arabic word “biḍa‘” that is translated as “a few”. That’s to say, the Romans shall be victorious over the Persians within few years of their previous defeat in 613–614 AD. There was significance of these verses for Muslims. The early Muslim community perceived the Greeks of the Christian Byzantine or Eastern Roman Empire (therefore ar-Rum) as nearer to their religion, whilst the Meccan non-Muslims felt more inclined to the Persian religion. According to Muslim tradition, the Meccans taunted the Muslims by pointing to the recent military defeats of the Romans by the Persian Sassanid Empire, that adhered to Zoroastrianism, and predicted that the Christian Romans (or Byzantines) were about to be defeated, and that the Muslims were next in line. In-fact, Byzantine had been so heavily defeated that it seemed impossible for the Empire to even maintain its very existence, let alone be victorious again. Eventually, in 622 AD, Romans vanquished the troops of Parviz in the port of Isus, which was located in the south of Asia Minor and this was the beginning of Romans’ victory over the Persians. A decisive battle between The Byzantine Empire and the Persian Empire was fought in the area around the Dead Sea, and this time it was the Byzantine army which surprisingly defeated the Persians. A few months later, the Persians had to make an agreement with the Byzantines which obliged them to return the territories they had taken from them. So, in the end, the victory of the Romans proclaimed by God in the Quran miraculously came through. Lowest Point on Earth In the above verse 3, The term “adna” is mentioned which in Arabic means both lowest and nearer. However, the first meaning is also there; that is, the lowest land. In the third verse of The Romans, it was mentioned that the Romans were defeated “in the lowest land” (Quran 30:3). Significantly, the places where the main battles took place (in Damascus and Jerusalem) lie in a vast area of low-lying land called the Great Rift Valley. The Great Rift Valley is a huge 5,000 km fault line in the earth’s crust that runs from northern Syria in the Middle-East of Asia to central Mozambique in East Africa. The northernmost extension runs through Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordon. The rift then extends south to the Gulf of Aden, makes its way through East Africa, then finally ends at the lower Zambezi River valley in Mozambique. This interesting fact that has been discovered recently, with the help of satellite images, is that the area around the Dead Sea (located in the Great Rift Valley) has the lowest altitude on Earth. In fact, the lowest point on Earth is the shoreline of the Dead Sea, with an altitude of around 400 meters below sea level. The fact that it lies at the lowest point means that water does not drain from the sea. No land point on earth has a lower altitude than the shoreline of the Dead Sea. Therefore it becomes clear that the country or prefecture which occupies the rift valley in the vicinity of the Dead Sea is what is meant in the Quran by “the lowest land.” This is a true miracle of the Quran because no-one could have known or foreseen such a fact in the 7th century because the satellites and modern day technology were not available at the time. In a manner of almost a time-machine, Holy Quran predicted the preservation of the body of Firown which was in the waters since about 2000 years, and which was to appear after about 1200 years. For these 1200 years , the opponents of Islam kept joking about the holy prediction, blaming it to be a lier’s verdict. But were stunned when the body was found and identified, not by a Muslim but by a Christian. It was confirmed that: Firown was a tyrant of his age, but God’s will was to drown Firown and deliver his body to be seen by our age so that his body becomes a symbol. Firown‘s body was preserved in a perfect shape, such that it amazed the scientists who supervised on analysis of his corpse, how come no fish etc ever harmed his body in spite of his being drowned for a very long time? How was he pulled out from the sea depth and came to us today?. 1. Firown's body was inside the sea for more than 3000 years Fish in the sea could have easily eaten the flesh, but they didn’t. 4. SO WHAT IS THE SECRET OF SUCH GOOD PRESERVATION OF THIS BODY  The secret lay in the below quoted verse of Quran , whose translation is written above and below, where Allah the almighty is certifying that the body of Firown shall be preserved and shall be a sign for people to understand that nobody can be arrogant against the commands of Allah. So today we shall save only your body, so that you may be a (warning) sign for those who come after you. Surely many men are heedless to our revelation (10:92)When Prophet Musa and his brother Haroon, may peace be on both, were commissioned to prophet hood, they were directed to deliver the message of Allah to Pharaoh, the arrogant and the transgressor. They asked him to liberate the then Israelites from his bondage and there are several mentions of this communication in the Holy Quran: We are the Messengers of the Lord of the worlds. Religion (Islam) and Science (NASA) both agree that one day, Sun shall rise from the west, and that shall be a harbinger of hereafter. It is a doomsday prophesy as stated by our holy Prophet (pbuh) and has many such references in the holy Quran Initially the earth was completing the round around the sun in four hour. it now completes the round in 23 hours, 56 minutes and 04 seconds. Therefore, if the earth is slowing down on its axis then it will eventually come to a halt. But the forces that bring it to a halt will in turn begin to spin it the other way; once it begins to spin the other way, the sun will then rise from the west. Only by using current technology has it been shown (i.e. proven, so it is now an established scientific fact) that the earth is slowing down, something they could not have known in the middle of the desert over 1400 years ago. One of the portents of the Judgment Day revealed in the hadiths of our Prophet (pbuh) is “The Rising of the Sun in the West”: Our beloved Prophet Mohamed (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “One of the signs of the (Last) hour..the sun will rise from the west, where no longer tauba (forgiveness) will be granted” This might appear strange, but it has happened already, at least with planet Mars. The science of astronomy states that the speed of planet Mars has been decreasing in its course toward the eastern direction to the level we notice the “waver” between the east and the west. and on Wednesday the 30th of July ‘2003, the planet movement stopped going toward the eastern direction.. Then in the months of August and September… Mars changed its course in the opposite direction to the West- and that until the end of September..which means the sun now from the west on Mars!! And this weird phenomena of the opposite movement called “Retrograde Motion” Most scientist state that all the planets will go through the same once at least and our planet Earth is one of them. The rise of the Sun from the West is mentioned in the ahadith and this is the major sign of the Day of Judgment, all the minor signs have occurred. Islam is the only religion that prophesies that the sun will rise from the West, instead of rising from the East, in the End Times, before Day of Judgement. Both the Quran and the Hadith affirm that this phenomenon will take place. The occurrence of this phenomenon is considered in Islam as one of the major signs that indicate the Day of Judgement is close. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 9.237 Narrated by Abu Huraira states that :- Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established till … earthquakes will increase in number … till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say, ‘Would that I were in his place,’ and till the sun rises from the West. … “ Holy Quran states: Do they wait, so unto them, the angels appearAll-Powerful and Almighty Allah has created our Earth together with all the living things on it, the Solar System, the Milky Way, billions of constellations and galaxies, in other words the entire universe, out of nothing. Of course, Allah, Who created this boundless universe and Who maintains it at every moment, is also powerful enough to put an end to it when so ever He desires. It is revealed in about 16 verses of the Qur’an that the universe will inevitably come to an end on a day appointed by Allah. That day is the Judgment Day. The last hour is sure to come, there is no doubt about it |

Scientists have discovered that ants routinely talk to each other in their nests with the queen ants issuing instructions to their workers. Scientists used miniaturized microphones and speakers, unobtrusively inserted into nest to make the first recordings of queen ants “speaking” to each other. Researchers also discovered that other insects can mimic the ants to make them slaves. Researchers found that queen ants make subtle sounds that signal their special status to worker ants. Caterpillars have learnt to mimic this sound which earns them higher status so that they are rescued before others if a colony is disturbed. As part of this research, researchers placed miniature speakers into the nest and played back sounds by a queen which persuaded ants to stand to attention. Researchers said that the ants would press their antennae to the speaker just as they would seek to greet another ant in the nest. “Our new work shows that the role of sound in information exchange within ant colonies has been greatly underestimated.” - Francesa Barbero of the University of Turin The Holy Quran is always in complete agreement with the scientific findings. Allah gifted prophet Sulaiman with the ability to hear and understand these sounds, which even to-day’s science cannot correctly understand. There is a strange science involved in the mixing of waters. The phenomenon is different when two seas meet and different when fresh and salty water meet, and Quran has explained it all in clear details. Amazingly, after about 1400 years, the modern science has come up with all theories which certify the correctness of Quranic verses. Modern Science has discovered that in the places where two different seas meet, there is a barrier between them. This barrier divides the two seas so that each sea has its own temperature, salinity, and density. [Principles of Oceanography – Davis, pp. 92-93] For example, Mediterranean Sea water is warm, saline and less dense, compared to Atlantic Ocean water. When Mediterranean Sea water enters the Atlantic over the Gibraltar sill, it moves several hundred kilometers into the Atlantic at a depth of about 1,000 meters with its own warm, saline and less dense characteristics. The Mediterranean water stabilizes at this depth. [Principles of Oceanography p. 93] The Mediterranean Sea water as it enters the Atlantic over the Gibraltar sill with its own warm, saline and less dense characteristics, because of the barrier that distinguishes between them. Temperatures are in degrees Celsius (C). Even in depths (indicated here by darker colors) up to 1,400 meters and at distances ranging from a minus -100 to +2,500 meters, we find that both bodies of water maintain their individual temperatures and salinity. Although there are large waves, strong currents, and tides in these seas, they do not mix or transgress this barrier. The Holy Quran mentioned that there is a barrier between two seas that meet and that they do not transgress. God said in the Quran: And He it is who has given freedom of movement to both the two great bodies of the waterOne may ask, why did the Quran mention the partition when speaking about the divider between fresh and salt water, but did not mention it when speaking about the divider between the two seas? Modern Science has discovered that in estuaries, where fresh(sweet) and salt water meet, the situation is somewhat different from that found in places where two seas meet. It has been discovered that what distinguishes fresh water from salt water in estuaries is a “pycnocline zone with a marked density discontinuity separating the two layers.“ {Oceanography, Gross, p.242. Also see Oceanography, Gross, p. 244 and Introductory Oceanography, Thurman, pp.300-301}. This partition (zone of separation) has a different salinity from the fresh water and from the salt water. This information has been discovered only recently using advanced equipment to measure temperature, salinity, density, oxygen dissolubility, etc. The human eye cannot see the difference between the two seas that meet, rather the two seas appear to us as one homogeneous sea. Likewise the human eye cannot see the division of water in estuaries into the three kinds: the fresh water, the salt water, the partition (zone of separation). But the question: why did God said (the two seas) not (the river and the sea) as we said before? When scientists studied the seas, they found that rivers is not the only source of fresh water and that there are huge reservoirs of fresh water in and under the bottom of the oceans which continuously flows from the oceans’ bottom. And the volume of these huge reservoirs is as many times as what rivers flow into seas. So, each spring at the bottom of the ocean pumps a huge amount of fresh water which is as many times of what is pumped by that river. Here, we realize why God be he blessed and exalted said (And it is He Who has let free the two seas) because there is a fresh and hidden sea which we don’t see with our eyes but it exists. This fresh water which flows from the bottom of oceans sometimes reaches the surface of water, goes for thousands of meters till it reaches the surface of water. How can we invite non believers by towards Islam? It will be by introducing the realities of Quran to them. Since we live in the age of science, scientific technologies and scientific findings so the best way to invite non Muslims to Islam is the language of scientific truths which is included in Quran because when God be He blessed and exalted told us about this fact, it was for one target which is to make this fact as a weapon in Muslims’ hands to invite non Muslims to the way of God be He blessed and exalted. |

udatso:Wa alaikum salam, here: Yes, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. (Qur'an, 75:4)what is important is that this feature of fingerprints was only discovered in the late 19th century. Before then, people regarded fingerprints as ordinary curves without any specific importance or meaning. However in the Qur'an, Allah points to the fingertips, which did not attract anyone's attention at that time, and calls our attention to their importance. The life of each one of us is a story of good times and difficult times. What is the purpose of difficulties in our lives ? As part of our Islamic faith, we believe that all matters are in the hands of Allah. However, for some of us our faith can get shaken during times of trials and hardships. It is during those times though that we should remind ourselves that difficulties are either there to elevate us or to punish us for some committed sin. Difficulties Are A Test Allah created angels as the perfect entities. An entity that cannot commit any mistake under any circumstances. Then He decided to create something above the angels. An entity which could be awarded with pleasures of paradise for an infinite period. But to qualify for this high status, humans had to qualify some tests. As stated in Quran (47-31) Without doubt We shall test you until We know those who struggle and are patient among you, and make clear your news. Quran (47-31)Same message of Quran is given at lots of other places like (29-3), (8-17), (23-30), (8-28), (72-17) etc.A believer who qualifies the test , his position and rank is raised in front of Allah and that such a hardship may very well be a sign of Allah’s love for the believer. This can help us in maintaining and even strengthening our faith. Great Rewards Associated with Great Calamities It was narrated from Anas ibn Malik that the Prophet (saw) said: “Great reward comes with great trials. When Allah loves a people, He tests them, and whoever accepts it attains His pleasure, whereas whoever shows discontent with it incurs His wrath.” Narrated and classed as hasan by at-Tirmidhi (2396); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in as-Silsilah as-Saheehah, no. 146Given that this life has its share of challenges and difficulties for all, Allah has provided an opportunity of high rewards for those who endure these challenges with patience rather than with complaints and ingratitude. In this hadith, we find that the prophet (s) has provided a message of relief for those who endure difficulties with patience. He also associated greatness of difficulties and calamities with higher rewards. So, enduring through lighter problems and challenges has a smaller reward than enduring greater difficulties and challenges. Given that this life has its share of challenges and difficulties for all, Allah has provided an opportunity of high rewards for those who endure these challenges with patience rather than with complaints and ingratitude. And for those who show displeasure and discontent with Allah’s decree end up in a lose-lose situation because not only they have to live through their current suffering but also incur Allah’s wrath for their displeasure and discontent with His decree. We should also realize that our patience when facing difficulties raises our status in front of Allah, and may lead to the forgiveness of our sins. He says in the Quran: “Say: “O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world. Spacious is Allah’s earth! those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!” (Surah Az-Zumar:10)”The Prophet (S) said: “Nothing befalls a believer, a (prick of a) thorn or more than that, but Allah will raise him one degree in status thereby, or erase a bad deed.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5641) and Muslim (2573).The Messenger (S) said in a well known hadith the following: “How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are all good, and this applies to no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is thankful for it and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.” (Narrated by Muslim, 2999).We should also realize that when Allah puts His steadfast believers through trials and tribulations, that is a sign of His love for them. Allah has given the example of a Mosquito in Quran, to show us how this little creature has an extremely complicated structure . There are scientific miracles that remained unknown till our modern age. The most strange discovery by Science is that there is another very small Microscopic Insect living on top of this Mosquito!. Mention Of Mosquito In The Quran One of the animals mentioned in the Quran is the “mosquito.” When idolaters of Makkah heard verses telling about enormous animals such as elephant and camel, they accepted the Prophet and his invitation and did not object to the companions. Nevertheless, they had been hopelessly looking for ways to objects to mock at the verses containing small things like mosquito. The Quranic account of a mosquito which is so different from that of all other animals. It is the only animal which is mentioned with an emphatic denial that its creation could present any cause for embarrassment to its Creator. Thus declares the Quran: (2-26) Surely Allah is not ashamed to set forth any parable – (that of) a Mosquito or any thing above that; then as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, and as for those who disbelieve, they say: What is it that Allah means by this parable: He causes many to err by it and many He leads aright by it! but He does not cause to err by it (any) except the transgressors.The Quranic word used for Mosquite is specifically that of a female mosquito. Of course, there is a significant wisdom in why the Quran mentions female mosquito specially. However, this wisdom came into light hundreds of years after the verse was sent down, as a result of some scientific researches. As you read in details, mosquitoes which suck people’s blood and use it for their eggs are female mosquitoes. This is why the Quran chose the female mosquito for the similitude in order to point out to this reality. Mosquito - Amazing Facts I can’t find a little thing in the mosquito which is not a Miracle to Humans, Let’s get through some facts first. Fact One – There are about 2700 species of mosquito Fact Two – A mosquito can weigh between 2 and 2.5 milligrams Fact Three – A female mosquito can drink around 5-millionths of a litter of blood (Aedes aegypti) Fact Four – Mosquitos have 100 eyes or more Fact Five – When there is a full moon, mosquito bites increase by 500 times Fact Six – Mosquito wings beat 500 times a second Fact Seven – The animal that is responsible for the most human deaths world wide is… the mosquito Fact Eight – Mosquitoes prefer children to adults Fact Nine – They dislike citronella as it irritates their feet Fact Ten – A mosquito can detect a moving target from 18 ft away Fact Eleven – A male mosquito lives between 10 and 20 days Fact Twelve – A female mosquito lives between 3 and 100 days “The Mosquito, an ordinary little creature!!! ALLAH gives us its example in the Quran, to show us how this little creature has an extremely complicated nature 1- The one mentioned in Quran is a female 2- It has one hundred eyes in it’s head 3- It has 48 teeth in it’s mouth 4- Inside it’s little body there are three complete Hearts!! 5- It has six knives in it’s nose and each knife has it’s special use 6- It has three wings on each side 7- In the body of this insect is a digital X-RAY machine, which it uses to distinguish the human skin in the dark, in violet colour 8- It’s body also contains a small vaccine working as a local anaesthetic to help it to insert its thorns in the human skin without any feel or pain caused by the suction of the blood 9- It has an instrument for blood testing, because it doesn’t like all blood types!! 10- It has a special mechanism to speed up the blood flow so it can draw it faster! AND the most strange discovery by Science is that there is another very small Microscopic Insect living on top of this Mosquito!! “O men! Here is a parable set forth! Listen to it! Those on whom, besides God, ye call, cannot create (even) a fly, if they all met together for the purpose! And if the fly should snatch away anything from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. Every man in this world has a unique identity in the shape of finger prints, and this knowledge has been discovered lately in the nineteenth century. Before that people regarded the finger prints as ordinary curves without the knowledge of any unique Identity. But Quran identified that about 1400 years before, because the knowledge of Quran is the knowledge from Allah. Imagine you’ve picked up a glass of water and taken a drink. Did you know that the fingerprints you leave behind on the glass are unique to you? And that they will never change during the course of your life? What Is A Finger Print A fingerprint in its narrow sense is an impression left by the friction ridges of a human finger. In a wider use of the term, fingerprints are the traces of an impression from the friction ridges of any part of a human or other primate hand. Quran’s Statement regarding Finger Prints During the time of Prophet Muhammed (saw), the unbelievers argue regarding resurrection taking place after bones of dead people have disintegrated in the earth and how each individual would be identified on the Day of Judgement. Then Almighty Allah answers that He can not only assemble our bones but can also reconstruct perfectly our very fingertips. Then Allah (God) gave reply with this verse in the holy Qur’an: Does man think, his bones We shall not gather (75:3) Yes indeed We are able to shape even small muscles of finger (75;4)This emphasis on finger print has a very special meaning, because every one’s finger print is unique to himself, every person who is alive or who has ever lived in this world, has a set of unique finger prints, that is why the finger prints are accepted as a very important identity exclusive to the owner, and it is used for this purpose around the World. It is now an established fact that each human being has his own unique identity in the shape of fingerprint. The difference between fingerprints of individuals is so specific and subtle that only experts with sophisticated instruments can identify them. ‘Fingerprints provide one of the oldest and most accepted forms of personal verification; no two fingerprints ever have been found to be the same. The use of fingerprints is accurate, reliable, convenient, and unobtrusive. In 1880, fingerprinting became the scientific method of identification, after research done by Sir Francis Golt. No two persons in the world can ever have exactly the same fingerprint pattern. That is the reason why security forces worldwide use fingerprints to identify the criminal. The pattern lines of the fingertips differ even in identical twins. This identity card cannot be forged; it affixes a unique signature to whatever it touches. One cannot imitate or deny it. We carry it about us till the end of our days. Epidermal burns or injuries or aging distort our bodies in one way or another, yet cannot change this fact. INTERPOL has a database containing more than 160,000 fingerprint records submitted by its member countries. These fingerprints are collected from crime scenes, and from known and suspected criminals. Police run fingerprints found at a crime scene through the database to see if they can find a match, or a ‘hit’. Each year, more than 1,800 hits are made. In Pakistan, NADRA is using this technology extensively to ensure the correctness of Election results. 1400 years ago who could have known the uniqueness of each human’s fingerprint? Surely it could have been none other than the Creator Himself! It is another miracle of the Holy Quran that it stated this fact long before the human mind could even conceive it. At the time of the descent of the Quran, fingertips had nothing special about them. Every verse of the Quran is a miracle. Today, the miracle being discussed is related to the decrease in the amount of land on earth, which the modern science is discovering now, but was stated in the holy Quran about 14 centuries earlier. Decrease in the Amount of Land: Allah informs us some of His secrets about His creation in the Quran that He sent down 14 centuries ago. Those secrets both prove that the Quran is the word of Allah and paves the way for the development in natural sciences. “See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders?“ (Surah ar-Rad: 41) “See they not that we gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders?” (Surah al-Anbiya: 44)These two verses of the Qur’an mention that the surface of earth has been reduced and diminished from its outlying borders. Has the surface of earth been reducing from its outlying borders really? What can be the meaning of this reducing? What do scientists say about this subject? According to the information of NASA, while the Earth’s equatorial radius is 6378,5 km, its polar radius is 6357 km. This means a difference of 0.3%. Here, there is an indication of this flattening at poles with the following statements of the Qur’an; “We reduce the land from its outlying borders” and “We diminish the land from its outlying borders”. Besides, we also point out to the following issue that there is a statement in the verse as “we gradually reduce” instead of “we reduced” From this statement, we understand that the process of reducing still continues. If there were a statement in the verse as “we reduced”, we could understand that the earth was created in the same shape as it is today. The statement “we gradually reduce” informs us about a formation after a definite process. That is, reducing is still continuing. The following two points which stem from this verse of the Qur’an are in complete conformity with the discoveries of the creation of the earth: 1- There is a reducing at the edges of the earth. In fact, the earth is flattened at poles and bulge at equators. And this reducing still continues as it is stated in the verses. 2- The present earth is different than its first state. There has been a gradual flattening from its edges in the course of time after a process. This occurs as result of the rotation of the earth around its own axis. The conclusion that stems from the verses of the Qur’an of which we have analyzed is in complete coherence with the scientific discoveries. There is a reference for other scientific truths in the verses apart from these findings. One of them is that there is a loss of matter around the earth though very little as a result of earth’s rotation around its own axis. The statements in the verses as “we reduce” and “we diminish” indicate this loss of matter round the earth. Scientists confirmed this indication of the Qur’an and approved that there is a constant loss of matter around the earth though very little. Here these verses are also related to the decrease of land from another aspect. The scientists of Goddard Space Science Institute of Manhattan discovered that the level of water had been increasing as a result of the melting of ice sheets at poles. The increased level of water also covers more land. As the coasts of are covered with water, the total surface area or the quantity of land also diminishes. So the statements of the verses as “we reduce” and “we diminish” also indicate the coasts’ being covered with water and reducing of land on the earth. Now, let us think about this matter: It was not possible for the people who lived in the age of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to know these scientific truths that are informed in the verses. You can even see that you cannot receive any answer from the people who are not really interested in physics when you ask them subjects such as whether a matter is flattened from its poles when it turns around its axis or not or about the diminishing of land on the earth; flattening of the poles and the loss of matter of the earth. This information is hardly known by any people except those who have a special interest in physics or the formation of earth nowadays. So, how can you explain that this information exists in the Qur’an which was revealed 14 centuries ago? If we attribute this book to an illiterate person, then what will we say about the scientific discoveries of this book? Did this person discover these scientific facts which have recently been discovered in our age on his own 14 centuries ago? Was he a time traveller? Then, is there any other option than the Qur’an is the word of Allah? No way!. The discovery of the Qur’an’s scientific miracles in our age is an aid and support of Allah to believers against the increased attacks on religion. |

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) ordered us not to sleep on our bellies (face down). Abu Dawood reported from Yaesh that Takhfa al-Ghafari said: “My father said ‘while I was lying on my belly in the mosque I felt a person moving me with his foot saying: “Allah hates this way of lying down” I looked up to find out that (the man who was speaking) was the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam)”.Al-Tirmizi also reported from Abu Hurairah that he said: “The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) saw a man lying on his belly he said to him: Allah does not like this form of lying down” . Ibn Majah reported from Abu Zar : “This is the way in which the dwellers of Hell-fire lie down”.Ibn al-Qayyim said while talking about the medicine of the Prophet (p.b.u.h.): ‘The best is to lie on the right side as this makes the food rest more comfortably in the stomach because the latter is inclined to the left. Then it is better to change to the left side as this makes the food get digested more quickly. But most sleeping should be on the right side… And it is bad to sleep on the back. But it is worse to sleep face down on the belly’. SCIENTIFIC FACTS: Today medical science tells us that it is healthy sleeping position to sleep on your back or on your right side which is the Islamic way of sleeping and we (Muslims) were told this 1400yrs ago by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw). Sleeping on the right side does not let the weight of stomach & intestine to suppress heart, hence blood circulation is not affected. It’s best to sleep on your right side, because your liver is your heaviest organ and if you sleep on your left then it will cause you discomfort, because it’s squishing your stomach. Researchers now know that sleeping on the stomach raises the risk of SIDS (sudden Infant death syndrome) sevenfold. That realization led to “Back to Sleep” campaigns in Britain in 1991 and in the United States in 1994. Between 1970 and the unveiling of that advice, 11,000 British infants — who might have survived if sleeping on the back had been the norm — died of SIDS. In the United States, Europe and Australia, “at least 50,000 excess deaths were attributable to harmful health advice,” Gilbert and her colleagues wrote. It has been experienced that , vagal maneuvers ((neurology) of or sleep-3relating to the vagus nerve ) have worked sometimes to terminate the AF (The nerve system which could damage the heart beat rhythm) but usually not on the first try. Light exercise can also terminate AF, particularly when it has lasted into the morning or early afternoon. Several posts to the atrial fibrillation message board have also reported that sleeping on the left side can trigger The nerve system which could damage the heart beat rhythm during the night and it has been found that situation can be avoided by sleeping on the right side. It can also help to elevate the head and upper part of the body when sleeping, either by using several pillows or a bed that can be adjusted to do this. Sleeping on the right/left side with the hand under the cheek: 1. organizes the heart pulses. 2. permits the sleeper/asleep person to breath in very natural, perfect way. But who sleeps on his tummy, suffers the following: 1. temporal dyspepsia 2. his neck’s vertebra get harmed and will have pains on the long term. Today science tells us that it is best to sleep on the right side or back and not on the left side and stomach. Glory be to Allah, how did the glorious Prophet Muhammad know this back in his time?
