Read the Singapore story and you will understand where I am coming from. It took an Asian country almost 30 years before the world began to take notice, the important points to note are a) The Asian work ethic b) One man simply made the decision to put state above all other interests for this happen. c) He was PM for 56 years, that means no opposition and full support of the majority citizens.

In a place like Nigeria, by the time the Fayoses, Melayes, Buratais, Tinubus et al bare their fangs and deploy their propaganda warfare in all its glory you will agree with me that even 50 years is very very optimistic indeed
