Unfortunately this is where GEJ and his cohorts brought us.

If you like, call it blaming or whatever, it is the dollarized foreign reserves that determine the pressure on naira. And it is the same reserve that Jonathan dipped his hands and that of his comrades' to loot like there was no tomorrow. Now that the "tomorrow" is upon us, we're excusing them instead of calling for their head.

Una never see anything!
God bless you & all yours!!!

This your submission is why I no longer join issues with the wailers!!! No bueno, Ayaf tire.

They argue to suit their bias without bearing in mind that oil ain't making money & don Fortunato done fritter away family savings on his failed reelection bid!

Sometimes you have to sympathise with African people. The leaders are insane and have inferiority complex/low self esteem, and also the west are more concerned about their own interest in Africa. This interest they can't let go. The average African is helpless. He's himself ignorant but who will enlighten him? He grows into leadership and follow the disgraceful step of his predecessors.

If only the West is sincere, Africa will be better. If not... angry

You won't get any argument from me, the bold is the genesis-revelation of the cause of black people's retrogression!!!

Reading comments from respondents makes me to shake head in disbelief. Yes, African/Nigerian leaderd are corrupt but what proactive role is the west playing to stop it? Nothing. All they do is to make their country available to receive proceeds of loots and when they are done, seize the money to shout 'anti-corruption'. They are complicit.

As for Trump, he's a ranting mad man that has no clue about public service. Africa wasn't better with the colonialists.
No just take this your position!!! Donald Trump is a crazy twaat no doubt but doesn't diminish the point he tried to make underneath all his hot air!!

How are they supposed to stop prodigal "fathers & mothers" who are "helping" their economy? , did they coerce themhuh

Modath.... Ask for his apartments in the UK before concluding .... I would have held my peace if you're not the one.....
Having an apartment in the UK is different from keeping funds & having ongoing flourishing biz offshore...

Can you compare that to Akpabio who has been alleged to own a refinery someplace or Alao Akala 's hotel in Ghana? , our system is lax enough for leaders to manipulate, least they can do is spread jobs around..

Davido, Psquare et al have homes abroad, like it is the practice of the elites..

Although what Donald said is bitter, it is the truth. It is beyond stupid to steal money meant to develop your society and stack it in foreign countries to be used for the development of those countries. The problem of Africa is not looting of public funds per se, it is looting and taking the money out to already rich and developed countries. If money is looted and kept within the economy, it will provide liquidity to banks and help the economy.

Like I said before, there are some people that are so depressed there's been no major incident this yuletide. Their desire is to see Nigerians get blown to smithereens every single day so they can have ample reason to insult the president.

First, when the bombs were going off, they created numerous threads calling the president all manner of unprintable names, telling us how incompetent he is, and that they told us during the campaign that BH isn't Maitatsini but as the zombies we are, we didn't listen.

When the bombing ceased, rather than giving due credit to the president and the Nigerian army, they went- no doubt, BH was used to wrest power from Jonathan and now, Buhari has called his boys to order!! Suddenly, they've become Baba's boys- the same boys whose activities they mocked him for.

We then told them, if killing your own people would make you get voted as the president, why don't they start killing their people and see how Nigerians vote for their son or daughter as president??

Now, since there's been no incident, they have to invent some themselves, as news about the death of Nigerians make them get really excited.

I've said it times without number, the FG should keep very close tabs on Vanguard. Those guys surely don't mean well for the country.

By Jimitota Onoyume WARRI—THE Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS, DELTA, in a move to end illegal bunkering activities in its domain, has warned communities not to allow illegal refining activities in their area or else such lands shall be forfeited to the Federal Government in its new strategy. This followed Wednesday destruction of 48 (50 X50) underground storage reservoirs, several thousand drums, 8,000 metric tons of crude oil and 200 metric tons of refined Automotive Ga soline Oil (Diesel) in Warri South and Warri South West Local Government Areas of Delta State, in its bid to end illegal oil bunkering in the area. The feat which caused illegal bunkerers several million Naira in the destroyed goods was achieved in a twin operation coordinated by Commodore Raimi Mohammed, Commander, NNS DELTA.

As for catching paranoia, not at all, I saw a thread where a poster commented that "one kind of transaction" was going to be stopped cos it is/was an oversight on their path & it was indeed stopped....

As for rates manipulation?, naaahh! not buying it.. it is only loopholes I'm referring to...

I doubt, it's not as easy and straight forward to get one, kinda like getting a loan.

If it's secured by your salary you will need to move for your Salary acc, get hr to sign forms, etc.

that's why there are few in circulation compared to debit cards
I get you well, know how it works, you didn't get me, as long as the settlement will be in FX, and it has gotten on NL, it will be matter of a few short weeks...

Seems a lot of monitoring is going on, someway aomehow... Like Cash back got stopped despite it being within the POS limit..
