you should know by now that Obasanjo has never had interest for regional or ethnic politics. So if his polling unit has never won in favour of him, it's no surprise. Obasanjo is all about National politics. That's the difference between him and Tinubu or Awolowo

Obasanjo has structures but you might not see it. Even inside Tinubus Lagos the Pdp will get good number of votes, obasanjo isn’t he typical local politician, he controls voices in abroad and in the north and fringe groups like the ADC etc who are all over Oyo North. Tinubus structure for now is the most visible in the Southwest but nothing is ever sealed in stone.
